3DXChat has been like that since I ve joined, and will be like that when everyone of us is long gone.

 

 

Its a viscouous cycle.

 

Server not working > People complain but keep subbing > No Dev Answers > No compensation > Repeat

 

I see similarities to EA Games ^^

Only because nothing better is out there yet, if pornhub steps up, it's good bye.

Unfortunately, I am sure you are right.  Still, no harm is spelling out expectations.  If nothing else it will give the developers/owners something to discuss during their Annual Performance Reviews and Personal Development Planning sessions  :P  :D

 

I wish I had the money to make a hostile take over bid of SexGameDevil, and to try to run the company better.  3DXChat has the potential to be SO much better and not just on the game content front.  To stay ahead of the market, things WILL need to change, else I am sure it won't be long before the customer base makes the easy switch to a new and better game when one becomes available.  The customers won't be the losers - they will be busy enjoying the competitor product - but the game owners will have nothing much more to say except, "Well, it was good while it lasted", and maybe, "But we made good money while it lasted too!".  I guess one way to look at it will be that no-one will really be the losers, except the investor that failed to spot the opportunity to take the business over.

 

Did I mention I am looking for work at the moment?  Lol.

 

Crowd-funded take over bid anyone?????

Take away something they are addicted to and you will see the nastiest sides of thoose persons.

You know, its not very good to point at some people who is desperate. Yes, it's usually looks ugly, but it is people with the passion to something they lost or unable to have access to. Dont act like you do not care, especially when you are posting here :lol: arrogance or hypocrisy is not better then people who can't contol their emotions ;)

Oh I do care too. But I accepted the ways how things are dealt with here and my life will still go on with or without it :)

technical problem with hosting provider.... sounds like bull to me.

 

After 4 days (or so) of silence, everything would sound like that actually. However, that's not even a satisfying start of an explanation. Technical problem can mean anything from "We didn't manage to aknowledge which plug was unplugged" to "We've been hacked by russians and struggled to find the solution"

 

The lack of communication, clear communication actually, is why we can't even trust them. Not that I trusted them much before, but it's clearly a problem that has to be taken care of, build some trust between customers and 3dx management.

 

Lucky for you there's no real other valuable product yet, but you'd better get to it someday devs ;)

Seriously though, no word for 5 days and that's all we get? Is this a joke? Expecting everything to just be normal, which it will because people here are sheeple.

I am usually a patient and understanding person, but in this case, I am prepared to speak out and say that the lack of support exposure and the pathetic response from Gizmo with the weak message on the sign-on screen, are completely inadequate. In addition to compensation from a contractual perspective, I also think the following are required:

  • A full and frank explanation here on the forum as to what happened and why there was no customer communication during the outage
  • A promise of a full investigation from the game owners into the major service failure, with lessons learned identified and a plan of action to prevent recurrence put into action
  • A promise of a follow up response to the customer base to explain the actions to improve the customer service that are going to be taken.

It might be a small company with limited resources, but the sub's are real, and the customer base needs to be respected and valued, and evidence should be shown of that.

 

On a related note, I have cancelled my annual recurring sub after 3.5 years of continuous membership.

 

I do indeed feel well and truly stuffed, and not in a way that I might usually enjoy.

 

Don't be ridiculous. You are not entitled to any explanations, promises, investigations, plans of action, responses to customer feedback etc etc etc. You might like it, but you're certainly not entitled to it.

 

As for responses to customer feedback, well given the way some people (who have now been banned) talked about Gizmo in the last few days on here, the abuse and the allegations that were thrown around by a small number of idiots, I really wouldn't blame him if he doesn't feel like replying to anyone.

 

It's a game. Shit happens. Big deal. Yesterday the world remembered the 7 million who died fighting to give you all your freedom and all people here can do is whine about an imaginary world that doesn't actually exist beyond their imagination.

 

In short, get some perspective.

Seriously though, it's good to see the server's back. I'm not gonna lie and say I didn't miss it. At the same time "shit" happens... but every thing can go back to normal now, I guess? Anyway, have fun again everyone and Gizmo... Don't ever leave us alone again!!!

 

Blah, I need to learn how to insert images into my forum posts.
