12 Years of 3DXChat: Let’s Celebrate Together!
Matrix commented on Gizmo's blog entry in Community Corner
I’ve been a 3DXChat member since August 2015. I discovered 3DXChat from an Ad on a porn site. I debated on clicking on the Ad in fear of a virus, and then when coming to the 3DXChat website, I again debated if I should continue with the registration. Making that one step of bravery, that we all have made, has led to a fascinating world of discovery and fascination. Like everyone that registers for the first time, we are asked to select a name. I chose Rambo. At the time I felt it was appropriate because I came from a porn site, and I liked the persona of the name. The next step was to create a profile which over the years I have done several times perhaps reflecting how the game has changed me. I don’t like calling it a game anymore. 3DXChat to me has become a social community of interesting people where I've had wonderful experiences. A way of living an alternative life, or perhaps, many lives if that is how you choose to experience this rich community of real-life people. I came to 3DXChat wanting to have sex every day. I’ve experienced sex with many partners over the years but in those early few months my mission was to have sex whenever I was online. After a few months, I managed to make a few friends and learned that 3DXChat’s true value was not sex but the relations you develop while being a member. The life experiences you go through from falling in Love to social gatherings with friends, listening to tunes and talking about each others lives and experiences. 3DXChat has also been educational. From understanding people better to learning more about the different genres of music, 3DXChat has enriched me as a person. What fascinates me more however is the importance 3DXChat means to some members. To some people, 3DXChat has become a lifeline. It has become a way for people to live out experiences that they would never have in real life. It has helped people with anxiety disorders or physical disabilities live a life of dreams. I choose to see the wonderful things 3DXChat has offered to real life people. The relationships I have formed over the years I will cherish. They are real to me because the people behind the screen are real. I welcome you all to follow your dreams because 3DXChat gives you that opportunity. -

I'm been a member for 8.5 years and you guys are the best. My needs and desires have changed over years and what I like most about 3DX is how you bring together different cultures from all over the world into one community. Nothing in the real world does that. I think 3DX provides a valuable service in addressing the needs of people. The friendships, the love relationships, and sexual experiences is unmatched in any other platform. Happy Birthday 3DX. I hope there are many more to come. Signed by the Mainframe

I don't believe Lussian has malicous intentions. DJ'ing is a controversial topic and I'm sure he is doing what he thinks is best for 3DX. I was just asking if the process of DJ'ing in public rooms can be more open or formalized.
-
Lussian is not an employee. He volunteers his time and is entrusted by the owners to manage the music that is played in public rooms. Therefore, he is the only one, besides the owners, that can provide access to DJ in public rooms.
-
I didn't say I asked. I said a friend asked and you told them to follow the rules. You didn't tell them to contact you privately. I understand your concern about drama. Regardless, shouldn't you at the very least pin a posting that people should contact you directly? I'm sure many would like to DJ in sin but currently we only have one person and he hardly ever DJ's during the day (eastern time zone).
-
All I'm asking for are the rules for 3DX'ers to apply for so they can play their music in public rooms. Others are doing it now. I'd like to see it open up so more can participate.
-
I guess this is mostly addressed to Lussian. I have asked a friend to ask for permission to DJ in Sin. Lussian's response was to follow the rules. My question is what rules? Kindly, provide feedback so others can apply and make 3DX a more pleasant experience.

you have valid points. it is what it is.

Are you kidding? Marketing his business is his primary goal and it would be yours too if you owned 3DX. Updates are necessary but not as important as Marketing. Trust me, this is marketing. Assuredly, 3DX will be mentioned in the study.
-
I wonder how the results will differ (3DX vs. Real Life)? I think their Pervy scale will go right off the chart when it comes to 3DX

Keely! Where Are You!!

I agree. I implied she missed something and overlooked she was only looking at rock/metal

Well written Raevaen! The following is not ment as criticism... just stirring the pot a little. Arguably one of the most poplar genre's in the USA not mentioned is Country! Don't believe me? Ask why more times then not country won American Idle - to my amazement frankly. Country has certainly changed over the years to what could be defined as old country, new country and now country pop. Its amazing how many artists have changed over to country or dabbled in it in the last several years Oddly, country has never done well on 3DX. I guess its not appealing to the rest of the world. I know you can't mention all genre's for their are hundreds over the last 60 years; but, Disco should have been mentioned in your writeups for it was influential in American culture (even world culture) for 10 years.

Yes, other software developers offer free trials. Yes, I think having a free trial over certain weekends is a good idea. and to get around the underage legal issue, like other developers that offer a free trial, you must give them your credit card and cancel before the trail is over or you will be charged their monthly fee.

Without removing objects, I once read on forum that you can reduce your room size. Anyone know how?
-
I don't agree it should be a specific group. Its not fair to other 3DX members.
-
This would give one group an advantage over another. A much bigger playlist would help. If their is some legal issue whereby only songs that Lussian has purchased can be played, then schedule DJ's and let them use songs they have purchased.

For well over a year, perhaps 2 years, the patrons of Sin Club have been forced to listen to a 4 hour loop, more or less, of the same music. Sure we can turn it off and listen to our own music, but that does not give you the mood of the room. Ever go to a party where everyone plays their own music in there ears? When will the patrons of Sin Club start getting any respect? Sin Club is the most used room and we are treated like crap. How about a make over of Sin Club? At the very least someone please change the music or add a lot more to the loop. We must rise up against the machines!
