The Lake Will be closed from this evening April 30th through Wednesday, May 1st. I am traveling for work and will not be able to host the Lake this evening starting around 5PM EST (GMT-5) through tomorrow. It will reopen on my arrival home between 10-12AM EST on Thursday, May 2nd.

All of Rochis is important, but I would like to see the editor camera be brought over. The default camera is really hard to build with because it moves way to fast and too far. Rochi's is easier to control. Building would become a pain in the ass otherwise and i know I would not build as often pr at all and therefore have few reasons to come to 3dx.

I am having to cancel the giveaway this evening. I have a real-life issue I can avoid.

I was asked to post news of upcoming events on the forum. He was the only person to even attempt to answer the question of the 2 ladies who like to tease Smurf when he is at the Lake. Our next trivia competition will be held the week of April 22nd. OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS THE LAKE SCHEDULED DOWNTIME Staying open 24/7 is always my goal, but there are maintenance issues and real-life that I sometimes have to attend to. The longer I remain open, the more unstable my game becomes regardless of taking measures listed here on the forum. Also, running a computer 24/7 is not the best idea for longevity. So when the room dips below a certain number of patrons and I have been open for longer than 24 hours, I will be closing the Lake briefly. This will allow it ti reset and my computer to take a breath. I will open again and have no plans to stop updating it and making the place some of you really enjoy. Weighing in here I agree with Alivia in many ways. I have been at the top and I have been at the bottom and every where in between. I think the best way to enjoy hosting is not to care how many people you have in the room at any given time. It will drain you of having fun and cause a lot of frustration. Personally, I never advertise The Lake in WC. I also rarely use XGold unless its a brand new room. and at least want to get people to take a look, but after a few bumps I dont do it anymore no matter how much people perceive it helps. The absolute best way to get a room that has a regular group of patrons and a chance at being the top is: Good Design & Atmosphere Good Local Good Music No Lag Rooms like Jazzy Lounge and The Alley of Whores have these things and it makes a big difference. And, they arent always at the top, if ever, but I, and others, will seek them out because they have all those things i mentioned.

Rooms not loading again after edit.

I was mad at first when i thought i lost all my changes but only lost to my last save. I always save before I go live with the room or i log. You should make this part of your routine.

This is a known issue not related to this saved room loading issue.

A Perfect Place To Fuck was inspired by Lovers Island but adds a lot of features and places for couples to getaway. The room doesnt not play music but instead highlights ambient noises of the beach, storms and nature. I have an idea that could be added to make the game better and it’s playability endless: A gaming system: Poker Blackjack Roulette Where xgold can be won. Since you can not “cash out,” I don’t believe this would be subject to any federal gaming laws. Someone can correct me here if I am wrong. People get money for nothing in game and this shouldn’t change. This would allow users to build a real casino / resort. It would also allow the game to build revenue and potentially fund more development for more content. Content is Queen!! You can cap people’s winnings and losses so that those idiots with a gambling problem do not lose more than X value of gold per day. The stakes in these games could be set lower. If xgold being a value of real dollars is an issue then a person could just receive casino money when entering that has no real value to avoid any regulations. Fake currency is truly not subject to any gaming law.

this game keeps getting better and better. Someone needs to duck tape the server antennae in just the right way to get the game up and running again. Hopefully they have some duck tape.

The notion that developers will have to approve poses or select only certain people to do poses is silly. It will be for everyone. Bad poses will be weeded out and not used in the same way that crappy rooms aren’t visited. I don’t choose to use some of the crappy poses now. I don’t believe we will pay for user created poses, but like rooms they will load with the avi somehow or like someone said be object or room specific. So for my avi I may have poses I created and if you are with me you load that pose so we both can use it. A pose is not a big file. Pose sharing will be widespread just as room and object sharing is. It builds community and makes people explore all the possibilities other members create. No matter how they implement it rest assured they have thought it through or are doing so and that’s what takes time.
