Twiggy, one place where tying "alts" back to the "main" is a problem is when the player has been hurt or attacked and wants to avoid the people who hurt her. 

 

She doesn't want to do that, all she wants is to differentiate between "mains" and "alts" which just creates more problems. I would rather if all three active alts were linked, and listed in the profile then that. That's basically reality now already with Pandora anyways, so they might as well do that, and it really would solve whatever issues she has with alts. I do think a lot of times it might be the victim who has to hide, but the current reality is that unless you block them they can use Pandora and they can find you easily. The reality is that people who have been hurt and abused like that need to make a new account now anyways since an alt provides little protection now.

I simply don't agree with this, I know that the reason I don't try to meet, or connect with new people is, because this is a sex game all they want is sex, and I simply am not willing or interested in doing that with new people mostly, because I put my existing friends/relationship first. For me at least, and I am sure others that is the end of the story. Should alts be open; I believe they already are in effect. Something like alt, and main tags does no good since that's never been the issue its for the most part easy to tell a new alt, and new alts are the ones that cause problems 90% of the time, not ones that have been around a while. It also would do nothing to remove the main thing people want to know about that alt, which is the curiosity about who it belongs too, and it really would spread a bad attitude towards alts. I myself don't use any alts anymore, but everyone deserve to be treated fairly, and with respect, and I think that alts will be treated as toys to be played with in that case, the idea of segregating the population, and creating a subclass to be abused infuriates me. Many people do not make up a fake RL to go with their alts or even necessarily have a main.

 

I also don't support labeling an alt. at the end of the day, I don't really think it makes a difference in people's actions. I also put my friendships and relationships 1st so I can understand you 100%.  It seems that overall... any new avis tend to have a hard time connecting to people when they 1st arrive. My point is that there is a good reason for that and it is unfortunate.

I'm not apposed to having the profile of an alt link in some way back to the main, and I agree that doing so doesn't really hurt roleplay.  However, if they did that, they must provide a mechanism for deleting the "main" and "promoting" the alt to the new main.  I recognize that this gives an avenue for abuse, but I feel that it's more important to protect the victims than to punish the attackers.

In a case like this i am assuming the victim does not want to leave any traces behind. A name change in the case is not going to be the right answer as the gifts will remain which would give the attacker proof that it is the same person. The best course in this example is to start a brand account so there is no trace at all.

 

It seems like a simple ignore would fix this issue.

Gizmo the ignore faction dont workkkkk there is a lil trick n u can see those that have ignore you even go to their houses etc who care about change name we are not here to change name fix server stability game stability more sex poses the music start break again  we dont need name changer

Changing the name and gender will be a paid option. This will allow you to keep all your friends and gifts with you.

Also, changing the name does not affect the ignore list. You can not get out of the black list of another player by changing the name.

 

in that case , the change of name is not a problem . Though i'm totally against the (maybe) option of changing sex.

Hopefully after that little update they can make FF poses, like something involving fingers and tongue instead of strap on maybe? MF have too many they don't need anything for a long time. They need to represent the neglected orientations. So that include MM.

We have asked for something to have it so we can simulate rolling dice a lot now.

I sent a message to Gizmo with that picture and have tried explaining what it will mean and can do for the game.

Hopefully he will see it and take notice.

I can't help to think about the spinning bottle found around in public rooms, maybe he could just add that to the editor, and people could make their own numbers or "spinning dice" with it ? 

My point being that the function is already in the game

Yes maybe, but I think it would take around the same amount of work to do that, it is only a very small amount of work to create I square and have it show numbers from 1 to 6, just a few lines of scripting that is already available in so many places.

The problem I have always found with the bottle is it is far to slow, even for its intended purpose.

It would be nice if the die where editable also (images could be applied to each side of up to two die at least.)

 

I have another game ready for two die immediately.  Along with 5 others awaiting conversion once pose editor is added (if they decided to create one). 

 

The ability to add images to Prims would create an explosion of content. Trying to write with the current Prims is just too time consuming and frustrating. Far quicker in photoshop and add a linkable image - which would create limitless possdible uses for die.

 

Everything from simple numbers, to specific role play conditions.

 

Imagination being the limit.

I think for 2 dice all you would need to do is place 2 down, yes you would have to click on both but would make it easier for the devs to add.

I once in a thread in here tried to explain how we would need to be able to add our own images to planes to avoid things like making letters in what ever way we could, also said how many items would be used to do things like make signs if he didn't.

That kind of got converted into people asking for us to be able to add our own textures in that thread.

Again it is not that hard for the devs to do, but there could be concerns about what images might be used and where people may get them from I guess.

For what ever reason they don't seem to want to add that, even though I think they would have to know it would make things easier on the servers and our computers.

Looking at some of the images of builds in here there looks like a number of places have used a huge amount of items to create signs and things.

They seem to be concentrating on big things and not worrying about small things, which is a mistake I think.

Some things that will only involve a small amount of work can have a big impact.

Like imagine if they did an update that had the dice, add pics to planes and the boot from room feature which is one thing he has said he will add.

Well, perhaps in time they consider the broad potential.

 

I'm sure they are busy with things. Especially if they ae considering a pose editor - this would be not important now.

 

Hopefully, soon they see how important it is to be more pro-active as their competitor is planning to accept user uploaded content very soon allegedly. It will boil down to who can provide content fastest in the end.
