3dx Update

Question: How do you guys know, that those hairstyles are stolen?

Our devs did buy plenty of stuff from other sources already. For example dances. Many of them are bought. The saloon room, bought. So how can you guys - who have no intel about 3dx's devs business and what they are doing - say, that those hairstyles are stolen?

I am not always on the devs side and they know that. But wild accusations without proofing them is a big no no.

If they bought the hairstyles as they claim, it shouldn't be a problem to show some receipts to silence the claims.

He can`t as the meshes belongs to EA and there is no way that they would agree to license it out to this.

@Diana Prince
Sorry but why should they?
Does everyone had to proof now he did right?

Would you proof you payed taxed for you car (or whatever), because a Troll says you have not?
I am glad that in most countries the law system usually don´t work this way.
Have we seen a developer here complaining that he did work for 3dx and nobody paid him?
Have we seen claims from other game publishers things were stolen?
At least I haven´t seen such things here.

It's about copyright. Try to post a YouTube video with music from a movie or something like that. You can count the seconds till you get a copyright strike. Why are Youtubers so cautious about this?
It's the same with assets for games. You can't just rip them from other games and use them in yours. You can't use (the files of) Michael from GTA 5 in your game.

Putting 3DXC on Steam will make it much more known, and more developers and game publishers will see it.

If the devs bought the hairstyles, then everything is ok.

No i don`t.

Even if your story is true, you knew that the "hired help" was stealing content, yet no word to the community about it before you got caught red handed on Steam. Fact remains that you have banned several people on here and Discord for asking about it or making post about the stolen hairstyles in the past, so you have known for a while, and i honestly believe you would still have kept silent if it was not for several recent posts on Steam.

As for your story about paying for the licenses, i`ll just ask them and EA if and when you eventually did so but i think we both know the answer to that already.

Everything you are saying is 100% slander and lies. Despite the fact that I clarified the situation and invited you to a respectful dialogue, you continue to attack the developers and spread falsehoods. I also see that your forum account is linked to a deleted game account. Are you engaging in destructive activities in our community? This is not how things should be done.

Before spreading misinformation and insulting developers, you should understand the situation first. Here's the deal: we hire freelance 3D modelers to create hairstyles. The hired freelancer guarantees that they are the author of the 3D model they deliver to us, and we pay them on time.

Is there actually any development? When could we expect news ?

There are in the requests of the users small things or corrections that are surely easy to realize and that do not require hours of development. Small regular updates reassure the customer who takes a subscription of one year that the game is not dying. Many members come from other games that end up dying due to lack of maintenance of their owner. We love this game and we want it to live.

How long since last update...? The only thing I can remember is just Gizmo mentioned that game will be on steam on may, and then... there's nothing. If this is the only update of the year, it's undoubtedly that the game is somehow decaying, or... just filled with dancebots and DJs

We are working on the update and will release it when we are ready. I understand the release has been delayed, and I want to get this update out as soon as possible.

Thank you Gizmo for the response and I'm super excited to see what coming for us! 💞💋💞

Oh, I almost forgot... please don't forget to give us (and by us I really mean me) the new hair from the last Beta build like I have in my profile picture... Pweeeeeeze, its so cute!

I have come to realize over the last 11 years that throwing shade at the devs for not getting an update out does nothing to speed things along. I would actually think it adds to the pressure. We all want an update even them. I have seen them take a month and I have seen them take over a year. There is nothing to be done but wait. Many of the people have changed but the complaints never do.

although we shouldn't give devs too much pressure but——isn't the updates what they suppose to provide? If they don't want it come too cheap, they can always update the purchasable contents( Although they choose not, love them!).

I don't disagree. My point was I know this type of development takes a lot of time. I mean I may feel different if after all this time the update comes out and we get 2 hats and shirt. But, i know from their aspirations this isn't what they are going for.
