Watching porn together is an in-person activity, if I interpret your question correctly. And that's different than playing a game. Playing 3DX is fantasy. For me, it involves the avatars, which are a substitute for the physical aspect of sex, and the chat, which is the mental aspect (making things deliberately simple here). The visuals of 3DX are good enough so that everyone's sexy and perfect looking, so even if it's a guy, or a male-operated female avi, what I see on screen is most certainly attractive. And if this is paired with a fun personality then I don't care who's really on the other side. Watching porn would be different because the partner whom I watch with would have no effect on what happens or what's on screen. It's passive. So if I pair with someone for a passive activity then there's no fantasy layer to hide us. And I'm not really interested in a real male to discuss my wanking session with.

One thing I really admire about you, Dee, is the ability to get me to think. And with my brain, that is not an easy thing to do! I can see your point here when it comes to those that play here mainly as a way to insert themselves into a porn video. I think this can include females as well. At this level it is mainly visual stimuli for themselves, so who is on the other end watching their own scene play out should not be that important. Personally, I find little satisfaction with that, at least in game. In this case, I won't waste anyone's time and can go masturbate to porn. When immersing myself in game, there are so many elements around the act of sex that has me hooked here. The warm feeling welling up in the chest when I see a friend enter the room, the nervous energy when striking up the nerve to approach a new person that I find attractive, and their profile enticing me to know more. The enjoyment in casual conversation that turns to a knowing smile, a flirtatious wink. And when the seduction is complete, a descriptive encounter of giving, not just taking pleasure in that moment. This doesn't happen with just a set of pixels and a computer algorithm. It required at least two human beings using their collective minds to get to this delicious point, not just the avatars on their screens. It shouldn't in the end matter who is really who, given both parties enjoyed each other. However, I do crave that connection with the people I spend time with in this way, and some semblance of who they are is formed in my head. I would hope it is somewhat correct. Perhaps that is not the best way to play here, but I am who I am.

CET. Central European Time. This time zone and the ones adjacent seem to be filled with people I have really learned to enjoy being around. Problem is that pesky 7 hour time difference. You are heading into your evenings and weekends of leisure and fun when I am still trying to juggle the work day, snow shoveling, etc. Its just not fair! I really have no complaints, but I sure would like to compress that time difference. Or win the lottery and not have to worry about money. Better yet, both! As I approach my Friday Happy Hour, I will raise a glass to you my friends of the CET (and + or - an hour). I love you, all!

The main difference between watching porn with another guy and interacting with another guy in 3dx is the interactivity and the more immersive self-insertion of the latter. @JackPine put it more eloquently than i could hope to, but the back and forth between two people, the flirting, the emotional bond that forms however briefly, the pillow talk afterwards, is not something that can be achieved by watching porn (unless it's some cam-show I suppose). If you use this game you accept that reality might not be what you see there. But again, we have no real business with each other's realities so in short, who cares.
