"Star" rating system will work the same way as current "xgold up" system because people will more likely "up" or "give 5 stars" to the same rooms. This "star" rating system also creates a space for trolls marking rooms with one star and this will discourage people even more than current system.
Also I dont really care if room is "stolen" because some .world files are shared exactly with this purpose - allowing people to use them, so neither of hypothetical two same rooms owners are their creators, why should I do anything about that?
This "star system" works when there is no, uhm, corruption like no friends involved in making the rating number. "Stars" are working in things like Uber where drivers rating is made of "stars" given to this driver by previous random people, but not drivers friends or family. Thats how it works.

I hear you, but I cannot see a way to change the status-quo. The way I see it is those same masses will vote for their fuck-room, leaving you in the same spot youre in now? No better or worse?
While this wouldnt fix it either, I truly believe if they had some kind of drop down contextual  button on the room listing that allows for a lot more info so people can list who or if theres a DJ and or Dancers, what type of music being played, rules, etc etc, maybe even a spot for a small photo, so people can get a better idea what the room is before they enter. This would guide people much better than what we have now?

our New York room is over 8 MB big. But we don't use many effects like smoke / water / reflecting surfaces. THESE are the bottlenecks, not the size of the room
You only hav slightly longer loading times. But as soon as you are in the room, it's ok.

that's true Alivia, but it's a difference between our 8 MB New York room that consists mostly of concrete, stone or asphalt objects and an 8 MB room full of reflecting objects with smoke, fire and other effects. These effects put a heavy load on the GPU. Best seen in smoke or waterfalls.

We really need the possibility to see the RGB colors and materials a selected object is made of!

But that makes no sense, because when you manually enter the RGB values, the object changes to that color.
But as soon as you copy it, the colors are gone. So why does it change the object in the first place?
It's not a big deal because there is a workaround, but maybe it's an easy and quick thing to patch for @Gizmo or @Lisa.
And while you are on it: pleeeeeaaaaaase let us see the RGB values of an selected object! Like the dimensions, etc. THAT would help a lot 🙂

To add up, Gizmo managed to roll out this update within 5 minutes, plus it was announced 3 days up front. If this is the new standard, I would be very happy.

The Windows firewall normally blocks the 3dxc.exe when I download it and I have to manually "allow" Windows to run it. Maybe that's the problem.

Hoping some more textures/ materials are added soon.
Could use a transparent texture better than the water texture to be able make sheers and sheer drapes.
More patterns would be great also.

I agree, it would be a nice change. Some people can be too... insensitive to understand that they can't just invite whoever they want without asking first. 
It would also be very nice, if in threesome poses same sex partners could swap positions, like in normal FF (or I guess MM).
I know that those requests not connected, but if devs going to work on threesomes they might add this feature as well. 

Please, please, please change threesome poses so that every person involved must click Accept before the pose will start. This is basic consent here. It's bad enough that anyone can join a Partner group without the full consent of those already partnered. But the fact that only two of the partners need to want a given pose in order to force the third to accept is problematic at best.
So this is really a two-part suggestion:
When a third Partner is invited to a partnership, existing partners should also get a pop-up to Accept or Deny that new person. When a threesome pose is requested, require all partners to Accept before it is initiated. If any partner clicks Deny, the pose request should be cancelled. I know this has been asked for before, but maybe it needs another reminder that this something that is desired, and frankly something that is both ethical and practical. It's a win-win-win all around. 😁

I encountered a strange bug yesterday. And i think everybody can replicate it:
take any object and apply the following color (RGB) to it:
158, 88, 56
Then copy the object. You can see then that the original lost its color and went back to white.
You can assign the color again to the white object, it seems to work this time.
But save the room and load it again: voila, the object is white again...
These RGB values are not the only ones where this happens.
One thing I found out right now: this only happens when you enter the values manually! Not when you use the mouse to point to the color...
