In a topic which was dead for more than a month... Isn't that seeking attention in a sex game forum? Some ppl would think it's a bit pathetic. I don't, like I said I thought It was ironic because in a way you're like all of us even if you're not aware of it. You can't write more than 7000 messages on that forum and pretend the game (cause the forum it's basically the same) it's not real life especially when you seek so much attention from us with your trolls and other taunts. Replace attention with love and you'll get what I mean..
And to be clear I'm glad to give you some attention today but don't get used to it .

You cannot be serious with this poll!!!!! Life, both real and virtual, is far more complex than a simple yes/no answer. What about options like, maybe, it depends, with close firends possibly and so on.
 
People play in different ways, it is not pathetic if real life has a role to play in game. I would suggest that someone who finds the game more real than real might deserve something far more substantial than derision. Support perhaps?

@Persona: I'm not really sure how long it took, I think I started it on Friday and finished it on Monday or so, building a couple of hours a day. Some of the thingsies in the room I already made for my other rooms, so I could re-use them

So, with the server being down for a few days I decided to build a room to share! It turned out to be a tropical island villa, with plenty of spots to cuddle and party, and have fun! I've shared it at Torax's awesome website https://www.3dxchatsharing.com/ which has tons of really nice rooms and objects.
 
Mhmmm ok! So! The room! It's a nice little island, with lots of treesies and sand! ow, and a nice little villa! The villa has a livingroom and kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom with hot tub, a sauna and a couple of small pools. To one side is a dancing deck with DJ booth, the other side has cuddle spots, enjoy

It seems to me that a large point may be being missed here.  I am a realist and deal in what is, not what should or could be (and let me say that I expect no one to feel the same).  Words mean very little to me, its the actions of a person or entity that I pay attention to.  By his actions, both by removing pandora and the account wide iggy function, Gizmo has shown that the privacy of his customers is foremost important to him.  I personally applaud this.  I have stated many times that I have expectations of the people who choose to interact with me, and personally think some of the things people do to each other using alts are dispicable.  However, I dont think the actions of those few should dictate that all others privacy be intruded upon.  We have the ability to create 3 characters on our accounts, so having alts, is both acceptable and encouraged by the devs.  Or that function simply wouldnt be there.  I absolutely get that an account wide iggy function makes it easier to protect yourself from these dispicables.  The ability to use it to suss out alts, even of people that are not in that category, however is an invasion of their privacy.

Second, I agree with you that it's a decent thing to do, to be honest with people and overall be a kind and understanding person.
But you raging about it wouldn't solve anything. And removal of some privacy concerns I believe is a good thing. Even if you are scared maybe that on the other side there is a monkey and not a human as you believe. It has nothing to do with Pandora. That tool was used mostly by drama queens who were paranoid about being cheated on by their oh so loved one with another avi. Also was used by those who would love to harass others by looking up names even if someone changed it. It makes no difference regarding genders.

Nope, I still don't think you or anybody "deserve" to know anything about anyone, other than what they care to share with you. It's the same on any other place on the internet. You can learn what is shared with you, and it's completely up to the people, what they share about themselves and why. Even if you got hurt because of various reasons, that doesn't mean that you are entitled to any security breach to people's privacy. Simple as that

I didn`t notice that large % of players, but I noticed a small percentage. Will you trust me? When you say "large" and if you want people to trust you, give them enough facts before you say something as a fact.Those features created for having more abilities,etc, not for manipulating or any bad thing. I don`t care about changing a gender, but I want to change a name and I`ll gladly will welcome exactly this.I noticed that in 3dxchat some persons can blaming other by no reason. Just because they think so. Maybe paranoid ones. I don`t know, but I should to remind about the presumption of innocence, because those people who asking for truth, more asking for troubles sometimes and causing troubles themselves. As our forum shows in that days while the server was not working, Pandora users can create not less troubles. It wasn`t a surprise.In the real life we need a lot of to understand someone, to trust someone. But in virtual world... Meet friends, give them you skype, have fun. You know, people usually becoming not so "chatty" when they losing interest, not because someone was mean.

Being informed is usually the best idea in this situation especially with a subscription model. Small team or not that is very important. Also perhaps stopping new or resubbing during the time period of the issue or even giving extra time when the issue is solved would be great or even having some kind of thing on their website that lets people know about it before you spend. That way you have an informed customer base and potential customer base. 
 
The lack of communication on this issue is really the major issue I have here. Even a Twitter post would have worked on this thing. I of course mean a Twitter post about the issue when discovered. 

Option 3 : keep complaining as any customer would do in a normal world, and play the game you paid for.

Thank you for getting us back online yippy yi ayyyyy. 
 
The very least though, along with an apology, is for the days 3dx was unusable, compensation should be awarded to members in the way of extending memberships for those days (4 in this case)  plus 4 more as  a gesture of good will - 8 days in total for the inconvenience.
 
To just ignore your members is not acceptable and kind of saying...  stuff you...  which I'm very sure you would not wish to do at all.
