Anyone remember the following post?
 
 So 20 to 30 minutes for Goose (an admittedly experienced designer) to create a new pose.  Or was he lying? I just don't see why it would be soooo damn impossible for a newbie to create a good-looking pose in a few hours .... using pre-rigged 3dx models, and a quality built-in pose editor / animator.  

Yes, we need a POSE editor!)))
Yes, we also want a clothing editor!)))

This is not an "either/or."  Gizmo is a developer, not an animator.  He writes code, not poses.  So the time he would spend making a pose editor will not reduce the number of official poses made.  If you want to say, "gizmo, we'd rather you spend your time on the memory leaks than a pose editor" that would make sense.  But, "Gizmo, don't make a pose editor.  Make poses instead," doesn't.
 
"3dxchat, we would like for you to hire an animator to make more official poses," is a fine request.  Understand, though, that between salary and benefits, full time animators are extremely expensive.  And, before you go there, no it's not reasonable to suggest they replace gizmo with an animator.  The game will fail if a crashing bug makes us unable to play and no one is able to fix it.

Right!  Forget the pose editor.  It's a bad idea!  Horrible!  Wrong!  It's stupid and bad to have players creating poses.  I mean ... look at what a complete failure the World Editor has been.  All those new rooms are unprofessional and creepy.  I've had to iggy 9348034958305985 new room creators in the last two days.  We don't want a repeat of THAT, do we?  Plus, people are SELLING rooms created with the World Editor!  Tonight had to pay $249.99 in Swiss Francs just to get into a player-created 'medium-sized-cock-but-it's-really-about-how-you-use-it' room.  As we all know, the new World Editor has created a microeconomy that has RUINED 3dx.   I changed my vote to 'no' on the World Editor too, by the way. 
 
So if you let players create poses, they will sell those too!  It will cost THOUSANDS to buy a boobie-kissing pose!  I've seen the future with the Pose Editor and it was a Hellish apocalyptic nightmare where the living envied the dead.  Plus, it was only like 20 FPS and it was really jagged and stutter-ey.  Not smooth at all.

I think CowboyBob is on the right track.  His plan to get new poses is the RIGHT one! 
 
Let's just the devs do it! 
 
The dearth of new poses for the last year or two GUARANTEES that we will have DOZENS of new poses this year!  Right?  Right?  I mean USE YOUR BRAIN!  It's SO OBVIOUS! 
 
But I have a FOOLPROOF plan to speed things along:  Tomorrow at midnight GMT let's all join hands ... in a big circle ... and all of us at the same time ... some of us will have candles ... and we'll all close our eyes and we'll all simultaneously wish REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY HARD for new poses.  The problem over the last few years ... was that we just didn't WISH HARD enough!  I'm SURE my plan ... to wish ... for CowboyBob's plan ... to come true ...    will work!  How can it not?  It's common sense, sheeple!  That's why I changed my vote on the Pose Editor to 'no' along with CowboyBob.
 
If you think about it rationally ... like CowboyBob and I have ... it's clear that the devs are going to start cranking out those poses any day now.  I'm sure they will hire that "in-house programmer who is dedicated to poses" any second!  In fact, he's probably already BEEN hired!  I bet his name is Gordon.  I wonder if he likes to be called Gordo?  Hiii, Gordo!!!      Maybe Gordo has new poses all ready for uploading tomorrow!  MAYBE GORDO ALREADY UPLOADED A BUNCH OF NEW POSES!

Rape is non consensual sex.  
"Rape fantasies" are a term for one of the biggest fantasies woman have - yet is misleading. Studies show this. It isn't really rape they fantasize about. It's more about a fantasy of being taken by a faceless stranger, but under their terms in an exciting way. There is a desire and willingness to give up control, but the knowledge they are safe really and if it got creepy, would stop.
 
Real rape is about power, domination without concern or consent of the other, dehumanization and violence.
 
Personally, I am not a fan of "Rape" rooms. The idea that the room creator could actually be a preditor I find repulsive. But, I guess it is possible also that the room creator is using "rape" in the context of being taken by the faceless stranger.
 
To bring this back to topice. To enter a "rape" room, is to do so consentually. You also have the tools for your protection. Don't go in, Iggy and report.
 
As for poses, you have to also agree to partner. You have to agree to accept the pose.
 
Additionally, you have the safety valves of leaving the room or leaving the game.there are so many ways to not engage in what you find offensive, and several layers of security on top of that.
 
I don't see how anyone can be non consentually "raped" here.
 
Now, if it's you find a particular pose offensive. Don't accept it. Iggy them if your shocked.
 
It's pretty simple really.
 
What is ironic over all this, is the ability to create here is seen as a threat to less than 2 out of 10 people. I just don't get it.
 
They will be creating poses over in RLC2 and the subscribers will have to pay real money for extra poses on top of subscription price, along with specialty clothes if they don't want to make content. If they were offered a pose creator for free in either RLC or RLC2, they would all be jumping for joy.
 
I honestle think your seeing a boogeyman where there isn't one.
 
Besides devs would be free to make more universal poses for use EVERYWHERE, if the editor was world based. This can be an epic win.

Some sort of streamlined interface for sex poses would be nice that doesn't use thumbnail previews. Not sure how that would work, but could set up a system for endless poses.

I actually like the idea of some sort of "in game poses editor/creator" where you can make a pose between 2 models, I'd love to contribute the time and work on a pose/animation maker by the game, how about something similar to the world editor, and when you upload your poses or the ones you made, they get tested by the devs and be confirmed and added to the game if they appear fitting and working properly, with some special edits by them to make it more realistic, if they work all fine.
 
That will totally sort the lack of sexual content and give people the chance to create what they really desire, but we can only dream for that to happen.

Time for another map, an old church.
Not a lot to mention about this one as its pretty self explanatory. It could be used for weddings, or modified for anything.
All the Pews have a mix of sofa and chair poses added to them, and i've added lighting so it can be used for a night setting. It looks good under all the presets, I have the late afternoon at 0.7 selected for these screens and I like that setting, but play around to find what you like best. There's a crypt around back under the church for a touch of spookiness

Diesen Font habe ich für die Beschriftung meiner Objekte erstellt, wobei es mir primär um die Kennzeichen der Helikopter ging. Da ich aber feststellen musste, dass die Auswahl an Beschriftungsobjekten wie Buchstaben und Zahlen noch recht klein ist, habe ich den Satz vervollständigt, so dass er jetzt alle Großbuchstaben, die Ziffern und auch ein paar Sonderzeichen enthält.
 
Die einzelnen Buchstabenobjekte sind sehr groß (ca. 5m hoch), so dass beim Verkleinern auf die benötigte Größe eine hohe Genauigkeit erreicht werden kann. (Beim Verkleinern unbedingt auf "Center" einstellen, nicht auf "Pivot"!!!)

Labeling font sans serif, half-fat, capital letters, numbers and special characters
 
I created this font for the lettering of my objects, primarily for the registration signs of the helicopters, but since I realized that the offer of label objects such as letters and numbers is still quite small, I have completed the set so that it now contains all capital letters, the numbers and a few special characters.
 
The individual letter objects are very large (about 5m high), so that when scaling down to the required size, a high accuracy can be achieved. (When scaling down necessarily set to "Center", not on "Pivot" !!!)

Wow well, after reading all you guys wrote, I may say i Voted for a solid YES...
 
This is an importat update we are asking for a long time ago, as the world editor wich was a great succes in Game, this Pose Editor will give the chance to everybody to create exactly the poses WE want, however we are talking without facts yet, we don't know how is going to be..
 
it's gonna have Idle poses, Sit, Lay Down?,
Dancing animations?... Pole? Lap?
and sexual animations with partners?...
MF, MM, FF, MMF..FFM?.. or finally our beloved FFF?
 
Will we start from zero with our avatar standing hands side to side?
or will be just to modificate animations that alredy exists?
 
Once created the pose.. will everyone be able to have it?... or you will have to have sex with that person to see what he/she made?
 
We don't really know that yet, I only hope, that New Pose Editor offer and easy interfase, like the World editor wich is even easier than the sketchup program.

3. Quality?... well as some rooms that are just 4 walls with a roof and says "Orgy room" and BAM gets packed... other rooms are pretty worked and beautiful like pieces of art, so quality on the poses and animations will depend on the talent and effort of us...
 
Pretty much is that, so, saying "NO" will cut down the creativity and the chanche to allow the comunity to improve the game the way WE want, and according our preferences... If ppl don't like to Build or Desing Poses.. they can always ask some for the ones wo love it and is done. we never loose a damn with that...

I don't think you'll find anyone that doesnt want the devs to be the people that regularly bring out new poses and clothing, but as anyone thats been here for any length of time knows, while it was a lot better earlier on, they slowed down to a crawl because of whatever reasons. They may be busy with other projects or something, but it doesn't really matter why, you must face the facts that we have not been getting them with any reasonable regularity for quite some time and it doesn't look like that's going to change.
 
By releasing the tools so the community can do it seems like the only logical choice.
While i've not actually counted them, I think its safe to say there are literally hundreds of poses we don't have that people would like, and at the current rate of release, you may well die of old age before you see the pose/s you would like to have.
While a good animation, at say 140 frames X up to 10 or 15mins a frame to make is a lot of work, Im sure theres plenty of people out there to be able to do this, I know I'm ready for it.
As for charging for it or restricting them in any way, I am dead against any of that. There are tools in place to deal with such rot, and you can take a screenshot and report them if they are not enough.
If these can't be readily and easily available to every 3DX user, then the whole thing is a waste of time in my opinion, and we are better off banging our collective heads against the wall complaining(and getting nowhere) to gizmo to make up more animations.

With 85% for it, it would seem this is what will occur. 
I don't think you have anything to worry about. I'm sure they will make it work. Let me ask you a question. With how many poses have been released in the last year, what makes you think the over 120+ poses needed to be made to give each set (couch, bed, wall, pool) at least a dozen options per set for fm, ff, mm, mfm, et,.. et,.etc? If you want full sets before end of the year, a pose editor has the highest probability of accomplishing this.
 
Not sure how you make a "rape pose" you have to agree to an invite. The whole system is based on consentual sex.

Without offense, could you continue (if you wish to continue)  your debate in personnal message. I am not sure your long last message are forum related and breaks the flow of this topic.

"Human sensor"?  What does that even mean?  Do you think the devs hire porn actors and scan their sex movements in a laser-equipped studio to make a 3d digital map that they upload into a supercomputer?     Somehow I doubt that.  Unity has an animator component.
 
And how do you know what the new hypothetical pose editor can and can't do.  It doesn't even exist yet.  Are you from the future?  If so, can you please PM me some upcoming winning lottery numbers?  
 
What you're saying (once again) directly contradicts what Goose says.  Maybe someone with actual knowledge (like THX) can opine what is possible or impossible.

The XGold idea is an interesting idea. It would mimic a micro economy but since you get it free daily everyone still gets some. If you want more and don't want to wait, the Dev's could make money off the purchase of those choosing to buy more xGold. 
Most people that create content like to feel rewarded in some way. We see those who try to use gifts as currency to be a Working Girl/Guy. XGOLD would create a motivation to be a successful creator reimbursed for their service. It is an interesting idea that caters to human nature.
 
3DXChat is the most affordable of the next Gen 'Adult Games.' Without community created content that comes quickly daily, it will have a difficult time competing with worlds like Sansar and RLC2 that will have very high quality everything for a price.
 
I hope Gizmo decides soon and states the direction of what can and can't be done. 8.5 customers out of 10 want the editor. There are questions such as:
 
Will invite system be expanded beyond three?
 
Can props be added to the pose for those wanting toys?
 
Can props be added to the poses for the BDSM crew?
 
Will the pose editor include pole dance? Lap Dance? Greeting poses? (Hugs, waves, greetings, non sexual?)
 
What is possible to do with the editor and what are the limitation?
 
 
 
Let's get these editors made: World Editor, Pose Editor, Clothing Editor and get creating!!!

The time has come for Gizmo to tell us more about this.

Nope fuck paid poses. Sub price is high enough. I know that people here could use some motivation, but I don't want F2P economy in one of priciest games in the world. 
So yeah no paying xgold for poses, clothes, furnitures etc. It's really bad idea that only leads for users to spent more money in the game in long run, separates people between poor / rich, and restrict people choices.
This game cost 25 euro / month in my country not everyone can afford to buy yearly deal or plan to be here a year to get enough from the discount. 25 / month is pricier than sub of Final Fantasy 14 / World of Warcraf together each month. 
 
Let's not turn this into Achat where people are paid for sex cus they own poses you don't.

I am totally on board with the idea of a pose editor. But I believe that there should be safeguards before any player-created pose is adopted widely. 
 
There are poses that could be created ... that could be toxic to other players.  Consider how the game could be damaged with the following:   [TRIGGER WARNING]
A pose where a player slugs another with a fist, or kicks another player, or stomps a player's head. A pose where a player strangles another. A Nazi salute: some asshole will undoubtedly create a "pose" where the players Sieg Heil each other.  A player posing as if to shit on another. A hair-pulling, ass-slapping pose.  That might be welcome to someone (like myself) that is into BDSM, but it could be very hurtful to someone that isn't into it. I can think of a lot of bondage poses that would be disturbing to someone not into bondage. A player miming shooting another player, with the 'victim' falling to the floor and twitching in death throes. There are people out there that are into necrophilia.   I'm sorry to be so graphic here, but I'm trying to illustrate how horribly a pose editor could be abused.  We cannot allow this kind of stuff in game.  So if we are to have a pose editor, what's the solution?  Well, I can think of two approaches:
 
First, maybe before a player-created pose is adopted and available to the community at large--it should be approved by the devs.  Actually, to help the devs' workload, I think a better approach would be to have dev-selected player-moderators review and approve (or not) player-created poses before they become widely available.  
 
Alternately, maybe the game user-interface could be modified to add a preview of a pose.  Then you could see an animation of a pose on a thumbnail before deciding whether to click 'accept'.  Actually?  There probably should be a thumbnail animation no matter what.  
 
Another thought:  BDSM poses should be flagged so that people who aren't into it don't mistakenly accept a pose that could be disturbing and / or traumatic to them.  
 
Yeah.  So as much as I want to see a pose editor in 3dx; I don't want it to end up destroying the game. 
 
We should talk about this some more.
