  1. Hi, if you are new to this game, pls consider reading the Basic Manual. I made them in english and german language, and you can download them as PDF 3DXChat_V2.7_Basic_Manual_DE.pdf 3DXChat_Basic_Manual_EN.pdf
  2. It IS not needed, as Windows defender is at least as good as any 3rd party programs, but without a lot of the issues discussed here, not to mention, that e.g. Kaspersky itself had a malware-like behaviour, sending permanently user data to a server without any notice.
  3. I have no idea why people still use third party antivirus /firewalls. The components which come with windows10 are at least as good and reliable as any third party stuff, but they avoid a lot of problems posted here in the forum. Also be sure to work always with an administrator account, NOT only with the run-as-administrator-function.
  4. Did you try my workaround above, Cassey?
  5. For the layering bug of music ( Hearing every stream simultaneously that ever was received by our clients) I think I found a workaround til fixed: When starting the game I uncheck the radio checkbox in settings, before I go to another room. There I check the checkbox again an hear the music of this room. Before I go to another room, I first uncheck the checkbox (switch music off), then go to the new room and there switch music on again. I tested this procedure with 20+ rooms one after the other and always heard the correct music stream only. I find this a lot more comfortable than relaunching the whole game for a new room.
  6. Hi, I think we rather need bugfixes instead of upgrades. As long as there are bugs in the mouse control while building (sudden inverted flight) and other options simply not working I will use the 32Bit-Version with the DLL of Nella Rochi, which fixes a lot of bugs and inconveniances and the 64Bit-Patch of Alex Ryder.
  7. Maybe it's the same as in game with the gallery pictures: *.jpg and *.png work, *.JPG and *.PNG does not - the ending must be lowercase.
  8. Thank you very much for the good wishes for our wedding, thank you also to all who celebrated with us and contributed to make this day an unforgettable experience for us ❤ Kati & Gudrun ❤

  10. Hello Torax, you are absolutely right and I'm sorry if I was misunderstood: To group several objects like you did is perfect. It is also absolutely ok to have a single picture for each object. My special problem is that for some of my objects there are different versions looking similar (so one picture is enough) but have individual *.world files. A good exemple for this is my Hammond B3 Organ: The full version consists of the very detailed organ, the pedal board the bench and the Leslie cabinet. Then I made a "lean" version of the organ to reduce the number of small parts and the filesize, and a third version without cover. All three can be combined with the Pedal board, the bench and the Leslie, so there are six different world files which fit exactly when merged in any combination. For the most probable use i.e on a stage in one of the rock rooms I made the stage pack from the lean organ w/o cover and the Lesli in one *.world file, and this is the only file available in your site. So let's try this way: I put all files into a single ZIP file which can be offered for download and one picture showing all versions. Anyway: An aditional link to the website where the objects are presented would not inflate the catalogue, but you are right: It's your project, so you make the rules.
  11. No, for me it is still working as usual, no problems at all, and any file with the correct ending *.world is still loaded flawlessly. There must be another problem at your installation.
  12. Hi, though this new submission form works quite well, it seems to me, that it is too complicated for Torax to resolve such "packages": I tried it immediately, and a lot of the Items I have sent are still missing, also my selfie, which I have sent 2 times. After the first euphory about this site and its easy access to the stuff we share with others, I'm now a bit disappointed about how the things are handled. Sad to say, that currently for me it is no substitute for the 3DXModz forum, only a complement for it and for the other threads here in this forum, so there should be an option to include a link to these sites to the complete presentaltion of the shared Items. In future I will send only one item at a time and a picture I selected for it, so I hope to avoid any confusion; some additional work, but I think it's worth it.
  13. Did you try to save a single object in a file for merging? This does not work and results in the behaviour you describe. A *.world file has to contain at least 2 objects.
  14. This is indeed a good idea, and I would like to contribute all the stuff I have published. What I'm missing in the contribution form is where to put the picture of the object, what is my mistake? BTW: Is there an easier way to contribute several objects than one by one via the contribution form?
  15. Hi, this really sounds strange, but when you migrated from Win 7 to Win 10 you should change something you are used to: First of all do not use an acount with limited rights, use an administrator acount instead! Using the "run as administrator" option unter windows 10 does NOT give you full administrator rights and a lot of installations fail. When upgraded from win7 for free, download the installation image to an installation USB stick by the media creation tool. When your hardware is registered by a digital license, delete the complete system and make a new, clean install from the USB stick. Use the default acount or create another administrator acount and use it for your daily work. Install the game, start it, so the patcher starts and allow the patcher to change your system. This should be enough to make the game work. Under normal circumstances, you do not need to make any changes to the windows security settings (defender, firewall).
