Guys, the current ignore system and a potential ban feature, aren't the same at all. A ban would still allow communication between you and the banned person.
Like i stated several times, troublemakers should be dealt with in a SUITABLE manner. Why you have to put everyone on ignore is beyond me...
Wanting to get rid of troublemakers in my room, doesn't mean I personally want them on my ignorelist and thereby "banned" permanently from my content.
Even if they cause trouble, you don't know why... sure, most of them are probably trolls, but it could be someone else typing on their account, them having a bad day or simply being drunk beyond reason.
Point is, ignore is permanent, kick and ban isn't and those would still allow the culprits to justify themselves... to get a second chance and whatnot.

That's basically what I stated in my post too...
We should have all possible measures available to deal with troublemakers in a suitable manner.
For most people a kick should be enough to make them understand they're unwanted.
But if you ask me, we should be able to dish out temporary and permanent bans aswell, for the persistent bunch.... even down to the decssion if only that avatar or the account is affected...

I don't necessaryly want everyone, I want gone from my room, on my ignorelist... Neither do I want to stop people, I don't want to deal with personally, from joining my rooms. 
The ignore function should do what it's supposed to do... stop me from seeing their messages and vice versa. Right now it does that AND ban people (without actually kicking them though).

A kick is nothing more than the instant removal from a certain location. 😜
When you're prevented from using the service after a kick, it's referred to as a ban. These measures in todays games and the like originate from IRC, the mother of modern socializing in the internet. I think we can quote @THX on that real quick.
The kick is simply the most harmless of any measures, instantly removing disturbing people from your moderated space. They're able to continue joining and keep bugging you though afterwards. For stubborn people like that, you use harsher methods like temporary, permanent bans or even something like z-lines, which block your ip adress.
And yeah, it would be nice to have all those measures available to deal with troublemakers in a suitable manner... not everyone (should) deserves a ban.

ONCE AGAIN: How exactly is a temporary kick, which you claim to be too powerfull, worse than a permanent ban on a whim, for every room the banning player might host in the future?
You're basically against a less harsh alternative for banning, because it's too harsh?! That doesn't make sense... 😑

This reasoning by a lot of people is utter nonsense though...
It's the hosts room, if he doesn't want certain people in it, it's his choice... no matter the reason.
That has nothing to do with being power hungry or whatever... besides, it's not different now, just that you end up on ignore lists for the "slightest issues" and are banned from rooms permanently. I don't see how being able to kick people would be worse than that. 😒
 

What he's talking about is the ability to communicate with friends through the 3dxchat chatsystem, without actually being inside the game, a feature i've been missing too.
Other games have it too, imagine you'd have a chat on the website besides the forum, which is connected with the ingame chat. 

I get why there are limitations concerning stuff like body height, penis sizes and whatnot... stuff like that would mess with the animations, hence the easy way by having only one type of body for each gender... that's why there's no real boob job pose either, since they're changeable. 🤪
But yeah, I'd love to have more options too, especially an adjustable bodyheight 👍

The clothes are texture layers. The former Mod got around it by simply shuffling some items into different categories. Making a short skirt into a top for instance so you could wear pants beneath it. 
 
As for changing clothes in a room. 
Give us the option to save one or two ‘sets’ and give us a button to swap between those sets?
So you could walk around in a clubbing set, with matching underwear. While having a beach wear set saved under another button.

So I haven't posted on the forums in a while, but, this is getting stupid. First, I want to say I work in IT, while I don't do games, I have been a server administrator for the last 10 years, so I know plenty about server architecture. 
You guys had my sympathy for a while, having gone through similar things, after the DDOS attack. They're a bitch to manage, and filter the traffic, and the IT team I'm sure got little sleep during it. However, at this point, I'm now speaking as a paying customer. Literally every time I log on it seems theres at least one server crash during my play time. You talk about it being during peak times, so great, my choices are come on at non-peak, and have no friends online and be alone, or, meet a friend or someone new and have it crash. Not to sound like a "Karen" but the length of time this has gone on is completely unacceptable. It is not cheap to play this game, and while I don't expect extreme support, being completely unable to play something I've been paying for is insane. Also, as usual, the lack of detail from staff is horrendous. The top post in tech support is some screen grabs from Lisa talking in chat? Seriously? That's far from an official statement. It would take less than 5 minutes to throw something in the news section of the game, or a link to a blog post detailing "We apologize, this is what is wrong, this is what we're doing to fix it, these are the timelines we're looking at, and in the mean time here are hopefully some ways you can mitigate it". But no, once again I feel like I'm being told "eh, we'll get to stuff eventually, until then, keep giving us your money"

Due to desync issues, you might come across "invisible" people a lot. Their avatar simply doesn't load for your client, this might even happen with people you've actually seen before... they vanish.
If this is the case, you can fix this issue by having the affected player perform an action of any kind, like hugging someone. The other option is to have either you or the affected player rejoin the room until it's fixed.

Communication about "when" and some words about a progress in the development is something quite important in the relationship between customer and management of a subscription based service.
It would be much more professional if some plans for the future are shown, and it would clear things up. What to expect and when.
We are talking about this because we do care about the game which in my opinion is a wonderful thing as a concept and it is a shame that it is managed with such ignorance at times, many of us would call it a very lazy management.
Now I'm not speaking in everybody's name, I can only speak in my name.
But every poll shows that especially a pose editor is a highly anticipated feature of the game by the majority of the players, and it would be such a shame if the whole idea is thrown in the trash bin.
So to sum it up, what most of us would like is a more clear, and better communication from the development team about plans, things they currently are working on, and the future of the game.

That how you know a lot of us Americans play 3dxchat.  When we get upset?  LAWSUIT!!!

i dont mind paying 300 gold to top my room but what i dont like is getting bumped 1 second later put a delay on that 

The crowning system is hilariously broken as it stands now.
Again because of spiteful idiots for the most part.
I cringe every time when I see a room with 100+ people CROWN themselves.
That's just plain Stupid and Rude.

I use myself the wc to advertize, but I considere those ads like non desired pop-up. Sometime people are in a convo, and suddenly 5-6 ads pop in, you need to scroll so much to see what was the last real message.
Regarding event informations, I think someone propose that in the room list, the host can put like description. 
So in the list we would have room name - host name (clickable please ><) - and a room description button where host can put info and for example rules if a rp room (which would avoid builders to make whole walls with rules).
And if dev want to make some money, they kick out the 300 x gold push, they go back to old listing of rooms, create an ads channel, and each post cost 300 x gold and ban any person putting ad in WC.
 
I just recall now my time in World of Warcraft where you could choose to join or not some channel, like the "General", "Looking for group", "Trade"...Maybe that could be something?
 

I must admit I give it a big "hell no!"
tbh… 99% of the content (locations, events, 'services' … ) we have is produced by users. When you build a location or plan an event or whatever then you want others to know about it, to visit you. It is not possible to give all the information possibly useful for visitors in location name... not if you want to mention music styles, DJs... e.g. for our Porn Cinema Event we have to tell something about our Kast stream - this is not possible in location name. So world chat announcement is the most effective way to communicate this. (And please don't tell me anything about forum, discords, bunny bots... they simply have no effect…)

For me, we lost a very important way to get useful information. 

Yeah, no please let's keep clothes and personalization options out of golds... I don't want 3DX to become like these very well known adult MMO where you have to pay to get a nice looking character.

Although a place where users could upload their own content for free and donations would be cool. But as we don't have a simple clothing editor and you need to have skills in professionals 3D softwares to make clothing, I don't see that happening.

It strikes me from reading all this that most, if not all, are kind of missing the point.


 
Or rather, you’re missing what is actually being displayed here by the Dev’s.


 
The simple facts are – rules or no rules – it was deemed acceptable for anyone and everyone to post ads for their rooms in World Chat.


 
Now, without warning, they are banning anyone and everyone who does that, apparently regardless of how many times it is posted.


 
And the people being targeted by this action, as they knew it would, form part of the core community of 3DX.


 
People who invest an incredible amount of time and effort creating rooms, putting together music mixes, striving to create fun and agreeable atmosphere’s in their rooms for the benefit of 3DX.


 
Basically trying to make 3DX the best place it possibly can be.


 
I appreciate there are other motives, I’m not naïve.  Frankly I found the war of words waged between some groups in other threads recently very disheartening, but I digress.


 
The point is, the Dev’s could have treated their core community with a teeny amount of respect and posted a warning here in the forum, on Twitter, Discord, etc.  It would have taken what?  15-20 minutes to type a 2 line warning and copy and paste it a few times.


 
They chose instead to treat their core community with contempt.


 
The very people who remain loyal through nightly server crashes, untold bugs and glitches, to make their 3DX creation the standard by which all other like platforms measure themselves.


 
That’s the most disheartening thing of all.


 
For the record, I haven’t been banned.  This is just my humble opinion of a very sad day in 3DX’s history.

Yes, Gizmo liked comments that requested kick and room moderation features in the past, so he obviously isn't against it.
I would think much of the scripting is available already made with how widespread it is in Everything from IRC to RLC, Steam and Origin. Not sure why Gizmo hasn't already done this. I'm sure someone has already created an admin pack for Unity, with how many games are made and hosted with it.
  With most, you simply download  the admin pack that you could add to your server within minutes. Having run a fairly large gaming community years ago with a staff of 13 (9 volunteers)  My personal favorite kick was the "bomb." Great for use on those using multiple accounts.   They come back in with "you can't ban me" you click their name and give them a bomb kick and set the timer for how long it beeps till they explode and are kicked. Doesn't make for much fun coming back in with "you can't ban me." 🤣
Then their is De-voice. Got someone who likes to cause a Ruckus with spamming? Take their voice away and they can't type in your room. Everyone can see them, but they can't talk till you give them voice back..
How about that ass who likes to jump on stage to disrupt an event? Well, say hello to "FREEZE." They can't move or talk and turn blue. Great for making statues.

I dont know if anyone suggested it before but it would be nice to have a Mirrored version of the Hairstyles.

My ❤️ like to look at us if we slowdance and I hug her from behind, but strangely most hairstlyes cover the hugging persons Face(what is a bit unfortunate):

but if the hairstyle of the person in front would be mirrored you could see almost the complete face from the person behind. what would be nice to have imho. so Pleeeeeaseee

I think people put too much value on a room counts.  Some of the best experiences I've had were in rooms with a low count.  It's when I go to a room with close to a 100 people or more that I get bombarded with cold invites & "hi bb, how r u?"  😣

But by the logic of it I risk loosing access to the room of the spammer. On principle I have nothing with the room or with the player, I just find spamming to be obnoxious, and obfuscates conversations. So this would be one area where Ignore wouldn't be best.
