Amen to that!  Often I have looked at the new list, seen maybe 2 or three rooms that caught my eye, visited one for a short while to take a look at it, then have to spend ages finding the others in the list again because it seem to have changed dramatically.
Personally it matters not one bit to me how long a room has been opened or that someone has decided to promote a room to the top of the list for what ever reason THEY have.  Both these things interfere with my main way of choosing which room to visit (which in my case is generally by how many people are in it).  I would like the ability to choose for myself what sequence the rooms are listed in, not have someone else decide for me.  The list is there on MY screen for MY use, so the priority for ME is that the list serves MY convenience not someone else's!  At the moment I have the inconvenience of having to browse past loads of essentially almost empty rooms.

The new room list is totally fucked up ... it takes an eternity to find the room, you are looking for ... 

So if someone created a room and called it child molesting adventures or child rape you would be fine with that to? I doubt you or anyone else would. Yet the same could be said for them to, it is only role play, no children are actually being molested or raped. So my question to you is where is the difference, why is it that one evil is accepted as not acceptable and the other is ok when both are really the same. It is a line you choose to draw, if it involves children then pretty much everyone agrees it can't be allowed. Children are vulnerable and innocent and it is easy to determine the wrong. But so are women who are raped vulnerable and innocent, and that is what needs to be recognised. By recognising that child rape or molestation rooms should not be allowed because you find it wrong and vulgar to even fantasise about it, but then saying it is ok for rape rooms you are then not recognising rape with the same respect. You are not seeing people who fantasise about rape in the same way which means you are not putting enough meaning to what it means to a woman to be raped. The word itself is not what use to have me thinking I shouldn't be playing this game. It was when ever I saw one opened it would always have so many people in that room. That would have me thinking there are far to many people in this game that put far to little to the meaning of rape. Far to many people that have rape fantasies. Seeing that was what use to hurt and have me logging out.

Yes, this is a place for fantasies and sex.  With others, consensual sex with others.  With real living, breathing fellow humans that are behind each avatar. Many of who have been touched by rape outside  the confines of the game.  All I want is an understanding that rape is not a fantasy of the victims of rape.  A victim of rape did not engage in sex, let alone consensual sex.  Rape is a form of terrible violence against a fellow human being.  No debate here will change that meaning to us victims of rape. This is what us victims of rape see.  
If this the case, a room on 3dx should not be named rape, because what is happening in that room is consensual and is not rape. All it is doing is reopening the scars of so many us, and saddens at least me, that some take the term so lightly.

I used the Automatic Ban system as an example in my opening post. 
Because it shows that the 3DX server Is capable of scanning and responding to specific words and such.

And as GottaGo posted above, there are ways to Code this idea. 
It is possible to do.  

And in my opinion would prevent a lot of drama. 
Not to mention save the Devs a Lot of work in the future. 
No more Riots in World Chat and hundreds of Reports to Lisa and Gizmo due to a room with an offensive name.

Take our New York room for example. Libussa made the Marshmallow Man and the Avengers jet for us. And I downloaded a Time Square room and used it.
So how could I sell this room? Others made parts of it for free and I would sell it? That would be against my ethical values.

Sometimes you wanna believe in the better part of human nature, and you may want to research your assumption as this has been brought up before by many. The only difference now is that profit  can be made now from taking peoples builds apart, putting a Helicopter Joe, made, A city, Tina made and a club sally made in a layout, and selling them as your own. Now their is greater incentive for doing it. I like the idea. The idea services can be tipped is great, but there needs to be a safety mechanism in terms of layout sales or no one will share  shit anymore of significance.
Profit or not, theft of Intellectual Property will have to be addressed and it will increase. It should have been from day 1 when layouts were being stolen left and right and nothing was done about it..
Just because you share doesn't give anyone the right to sell what you shared or claim it as their own. Copyright law is pretty clear on this, and it shouldn't take a rocket scientist or law to understand this.  It's pretty simple.

Being used to worlds with economies, I can safely say there will be those who choose to sell and those who choose to share. Those who choose to share will now share for real. Not because they have no choice, but because they choose too.
My only concern is how will it be handled people selling other peoples builds - intellectual property in short.. In worlds with economies there are safeguards and it is a bannable offense. They have staff who investigate claims. There are those for instance, who have taken my builds, added a few things and now claim to be creations of their own 'by xxx.' 
I don't think this is a bad idea in the least provided there is some protection for builders who share. Which, there should have been from the beginning.
To be quite frank, I like to share, but it pisses the fuck outta me to be fucked over for sharing. I'm sure I'm not the only one to feel this way.
Selling or sharing still has one obstacle to address. Selling won't c create any new problems that didn't already exist.

Ok let's me try to explain what my fear is, maybe I am totally wrong on it but this is what worries me:
Until now, there was space for free content and paying content. Some sell rooms, some give them for free. And it worked pretty fine so far.
This new system might be scary for the ones sharing for free till now, as Anaganda said, it is also a pleasure and a satisfaction to build and give, and simply see people happy to use your material. 
With this new system, I feel like this will to share free material , for the simple pleasure of giving, is killed if some people manage to make money with it and therefore people will lose the pleasure of sharing for free.  I am not sure they will move to selling but migh simply stop sharing, or share only with some friends they trust. What would be the result? Less material available for the community.
This might sound now a bit bragging but, all the people sharing on forum, on modz on juicyjina website for a while, or other builders having website...all this kept the community up, all this kept 3dx attractive thanks to a huge variety of places....Giving the opportunity to people who dont build to still create or use world for free and open them is important for 3dx. At least this is my point of view and what I liked so far in 3dx...you could put together a host, a builder, dj's. organizer and create events without too much drama...now suddenly the host becomes favorised...what was a fair system became unfair.

We need a much larger "viewing range" for a whole city like New York...

It's like the code from an Amazon gift card. I buy the time codes for myself when they are on sale, like around xmas or now.
And I pay with them, so there is no automatic renewal, only when I buy and enter another time code.

But aren't most of the poses just downloaded for free from sites like mixamo? I can download the dance poses there or the new idle 6 pose.
There are thousands of poses there that the devs could include in 3DXC. So the only work they have to do is to include them into 3DXC, but not to create them.
(I even saw the dressing room in another game in a  video about the new Oculus Quest 2. That means even this was just copied from somewhere but not built by the devs themselves.)

Most of the tattoos in the game now, while awesome, are not what I'd want on me or my Avatar.
I do have tattoos IRL, but small subtle ones.
One on my shoulder, one above my heart and one on my shoulder blade. None of them are bigger then my hand.
Subtle sets like that are not really possible in the game now.
Most of the tattoos are huge.

I would argue that there are lots of people that would love on or two small tattoos, instead of full sleeves etc.
And the devs should be able to alter the current tattoo mod selection to be selectable for each body part, instead of overall body.
But even if they did read this, they wouldn't do shit anyway.

I'm not sure what it would take, but it would be nice if the facial expressions on the avatars could be more joyous.  Now, they are rather bland and do not convey the fun and excitement they ought to be experiencing given the situations they are being put in by players.

but wouldn't this be the "merge from file" function?
If you have the different components in their own world file, you can put whatever component you want into your new build.
