My point was more about the fact that people helping are all very good people in building or djing, so there is nothing wrong about it, they are all good choices. My issue is the process. By not opening it somehow to everyone, they kinda make those people look like special friends of the devs, while they might not be. Again, I think they just got caught up in it with no guilt, and they shouldnt be blamed. The only one I blame are the devs. I have too much respect for the work from all the peeps involved.
I also understand that to open it to everyone might have been an headache for the devs to choose. So maybe again the real issue is the communication. It makes me feel that the devs are not even able to organize themselves an official event and have to rely on some people. When it was a building contest, it was the same, Ashbash organized it all. It feels devs are so far from their community they need players to take care of it. I totally approve the lovense partnership, i am totally fine with the new update and so on, I am just really tired about the bad communication.

gizmo much as I prefer to refrain from posting on this illustrious forum I feel I must now add my voice to the growing cacophony of discontent being expressed here.  I had a full evening of standing around zombie watching in cold rooms planned which your frequent and lengthy server downtimes has frustrated.  I do not pay to watch a login screen inform me 'Too many attempts, try again later' I pay to watch desperate pervs cold me while I tell them 'Too many attempts, try again later'.  Please sort this sad state of affairs out.  Hugs and Kisses, Chloe.
 

Maybe something like in World of Warcraft, when you wanted to kick someone to a group, you made the group vote via a function, if more yes than no, the person was kicked. I guess such function is not possible for 3DX but we could imagine a system like when you are in a room, even if not yours, you could have a button "ask for kick" and if someone is reported by x persons, this person is kicked, and it is not let to the sole judgement of the room owner?

So this is what the forums are like huh?  Basically another version of World Chat.

Since this new bug, I finally realize there are 60% more ppl in rooms than I though they were.

DDoS again

Most of the clubs in this game are filled with groups of people who are fun and interesting with crazy and awesome personalities. I’ll be honest I joined 3dx because I was pretty lonely and wanted a social game (the naughty stuff was a plus hehe) and I met SO many beautiful people! That includes you partywiggles  Lets face it the club owners, their personalities, and the DJs are the lifeblood of this game and treating them like this is unacceptable! We have room builders who make amazing creations too! Point is 3DX wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the passionate people who work hard so that the rest of us have special places to go and hang out at! Bad way to handle the promoting in WC 3DX

Yes the reason for ban is Spam, according to rules. But why suddenly what was accepted for so long isnt anymore. We dont even know what is considered as spam. They added a 60 second timer to counter spam. I dont mind there are rules to follow, but it would be nice to be warned beforehand if something allowed isnt anymore.

I believe that regardless if spam is determined by an automatic algorithm or the developers themselves via user reports, it should be clarified what exactly counts as spam in the first place.
Does it involve World Chat only? It has a 60 second timer. Does it count as spam if someone exploits this limit and posts the same message / advertisement every 60 seconds, or in a given time interval? If so, what is this time interval and how should we avoid posting "spam" while still sufficiently advertising rooms and events? Does it also involve Local Chats in rooms? If so, it should be clarified whether the room owner, or members of the host's team can or cannot repeat similar messages in Local Chat (like greeting newly arriving guests by their name, for example). Because this is something many hosts do and it could create more confusion and conflict in the future, if this is the case. If the spam is judged via user reports then I believe the moderators / admins of the game should contact the reported users before suspending any accounts, as this clearly creates conflict between the userbase and the seemingly ambiguous rules in effect right now. A warning before the ban would be beneficial to all parties in my opinion. (This of course doesn't apply to other offences like insults and other user behaviour that can be documented by actual screenshots, I'm only referring to spam itself.)
The concept of "spam" can mean a lot of things and I'm convinced it would be important to clarify exactly what and in what situation counts as an offence in 3DXChat. I would love to see the developers' input in this matter so we can all avoid misunderstandings and conflicts like this in the future.

I agree with what you're saying but .. If it's a script doing it .. It would have been nice to read something about it prior .. you know something like ..
"Dear 3DX members, we are experimenting with a new anti-spam script / bot. False positives might occur during this process, please inform us if that is the case and we will evaluate / assess furthermore"

Easy explained - they gave (or still give) GTA V away @ Epic Game Store ... I am not into this type of game (naaaa not comparable with 3dx at all ^^) but free is free - so I reserved a license
 

Guys, the attack continues. The game server is down. We requested support from the data center engineers, but because of the weekend, we have not yet received a response.

I"m so glad they continue to work on updates to the game but is now the best time to share a potential update when they could instead provide a status on the DDOS and/or an ETA of when the game will be back up.

I completely understand that, but at this time people are more worried about getting the service they pay for back up vs knowing what the Dev's are working on. It's nice that they can continue to work on future updates and let us all know, but at the same time they should at least keep us informed about this attack and have maybe and ETA of when the game will be back up. 
 

I think it's likely they don't know when people will be able to log on. They may have also implemented the hardening to this attack, as well. If the DDos is still ongoing, though, they may not be able to reenable access. In that case, they could work on other improvements until the time comes to disable the DDoS measures. If there's multiple developers, then they also can split between mitigation and new content.
