Discord and 3dx dropped at almost exactly the same moment the first time tonight. And we know they both share cloudflare infrastructure....so...Seems pretty likely.

The issue isn't downloading the patch, it's applying the patch. Which is all done locally and isn't affected by bandwidth or number of users.
@Ammini You don't need to run it as Admin, but run Patcher.exe by itself without launching 3DX. That worked for me and a few other folks.

Same here, and I have other friends that are having the same issue.

Seems like if you launch the patcher itself manually it works. I think the game itself isn't exiting quick enough and is holding locks on files.

My point wasn't that it was. My point was that microtransactions ruin games. Once this pandora's box is open, you'll be bombarded with more and more overpriced crap to buy constantly. Go play any game with a cash shop nowadays and see how much new content you can get without spending money once a cash shop is introduced. You will barely get anything new without having to pay for it on top of your subscription. If that's good for you, then cool, I guess...
Of course I realize it's a business. I already pay them. Nobody here is asking to get anything for free. It's more a question of what value is assigned to things.

Also, I love how you say how 3dx is superior to Second Life in part because it's cheaper...then support adding the very same mechanism to make it just as expensive, if not more. That's some high-quality logic right there.

This retard treatment towards the playerbase is really ridiculous. Probably a balance would be there if the devs would be professional about it, and not add only what their own personal kink dictates, dismissing where the game is lacking content.
I still think the male gender should be free to play because subscription is meant to support CONTENT. and fairly distributed. Or put a warning at the character creation "Dear players, for premium content and updates please create a futa. thank you for understanding"
