  1. @Varz There any chance btw that you could bring it past rest the team that many use chairs up against tables, if it could be considered when making animations for the chairs. Feel like many the poses end having issues being used up against a table placement, I imagine its because when they animate the mostly just use the chair prop and maybe doesn't entirely consider how the chairs are often used in world.

Ahh that's good to know thank you!

Do you have any idea when update moves to live, feels as if anytime I drop in on test server there is hardly and public rooms with people there. Are there actually much testing going on there at all, if not wouldn't it be better to just release it and let people report any remaining bugs?

I'd agree. it's a good idea in theory. but there would be far too many subsects that might feel marginalised.

example: I see so many profiles from fembois and sissies that wish their penises were much smaller. we know they're all the same size for pose alignment. but if one chooses to be completely passive, and not use their appendage at all, just have a small dicklet to identify with, then why not offer them that option?

so there's so many third gender variations to consider.

interesting comments from all, by the way.

Think isn't just that but also the male frame is usually by default somewhat muscular, think its why many femboys use female avi over male ones because its impossible for them to have any feminine frame with current male model base.

  4. Not sure it would even be possible anymore with all gender types you can be today, there going to be people complaining its not inclusive enough less its specifically made at one thing, like FUTA fantasy or something like that. If you make it just transgender then those who have not had gender assigning surgery is gonna complain why then can't be a man with vagina for instance, while I perfectly understand that and in being a valid point I just also think it be opening up a very deep rabbit hole all together.

  5. Nice tip or tutorial but maybe you should change title to something more like merging objects from file into your project and finding it. Seeing title you could easily think its more tutorial on how to grouping things up and managing merging and unmerging objects. But again nice and useful tutorial.

    yes Tasha...as you see...FPS was problem...damn...:)

About Nvidia manager...i don't think i have there some FPS settings. Must say, that i play ocasionally only 3DX and Second Life...no other games at all so at the end, im not much experienced with games. But i use this comp for video editind and 3D modeling...and some renders make computer cpu and gpu fans working quite hard

Think this should help show you how to do it in Nvidia for global effect if you need it.

  7. Its actually good point, maybe the FPS isn't capped on Nvidia manager, I know some wrote about that stuff burning out graphic cards on new Diablo IV. So could be that its just pushing out max FPS even when it doesn't need to go that high FPS, had that happen when I tried one later version of port to UE5 for wildlife. I couldn't understand why my graphic card worked so intensely for something normally wouldn't be any issue in other things, it turned out I didn't have FPS capped in manager so it constantly tried I think to deliver maximum smoothness for G-synth stuff, resulting in absurd high FPS all the time making graphic card work to its maximum then I put it down to about 60fps I think and it was much less intense. Believe many said its issue with 3000 and 4000 series Nvidia Graphic cards.

He does not need to merge items to have copies of items. Sometimes a single click is all it takes to copy items. Then there is the save highlighted items and save whole file. It also could be a glitch.   (<= is not a game develper, just an evil builder.)

Partially true, you don't need to merge to copy individual objects but if you're copying more than one selected item you need to merge and unmerge objects, otherwise the system will make a copy of each individual item not merged or copies of individual items and merged item in the quantities of the said items. Which means you will have many duplicates laying underneath the original location from which items were copied and move typically.

Easiest way to minimize it is having as many items merged as possible, the frustrating downside is you either have to unmerge all items if you want something moved in smaller selected groups, or other less but still frustrating method of using is it CTRL I think or SHIFT to deselect each individual part in new group you want to create, then finally click merge, that will make a new group out of all previously merged items leaving the deselected objects in their own new group too. But it can be frustrating if you have small or hard to click object areas when attempting this.

    🇫🇷 Bonjour,

    🇺🇸 Hello,

This topic has taken a very interesting turn.
Indeed, just yesterday I was talking with a pro builer friend.
I call them that, because they are builders who make great builds. Rooms sometimes very complex, very different and beautiful universes.
Example: Redji and Manyasha, Paulina, Pagos, Torax etc...
I can't name them all because there are so many of them. You already know them.

And so, I was talking with my friend, who makes beautiful constructions, and who sells them, like these other users and who, at the moment, is witnessing massive thefts of her objects. And these thieves, resell them with impunity! And of course, passing off their creations as their own!

It seems that this is becoming more and more recurrent. I find this abject.
That people buy her rooms and use the objects they contain for personal use to decorate other rooms, which are not meant to be put on sale, she has no problem with that, but to see her objects, which she creates herself, in rooms put on sale, is really disgusting.

I don't understand people who do that in a universe like this. Liars, and thieves without any talent, who do it as a sport, just for the money.

Besides, these experienced builders are very kind. They are easy to talk to, they never hesitate to give good advice, concerning the build. I find these processes shameful and revolting.

I really think that @Gizmo and @Lisa should seriously look into the matter, in order to protect the creations of these people.
We must not forget that it is them, us, who make the virtual world. And that if these people decide to leave, that if people decide to leave, so disgusted by this kind of deviant behavior, 3DXChat will suffer in the long run, from a bad reputation of thieves users.

Security through a social network, or a game, is very important and users are demanding it. They need it.

When you work for hours. When you create something and other people come along and steal your work. Appropriate it, selling it as their own, that's disrespectful and that's theft. And that qualifies as theft of intellectual property.
I've heard since I've been here that the people who designed this platform have had their intellectual property stolen by other people. So they know what I am talking about if they are reading this post.
In some countries, theft of intellectual property is a crime.

It's not for nothing that other platforms such as: Second Life, Imvu, or even Red Lide Center (Utherverse), have changed their internal policies to protect creators, with more controls and moderations.
On RLC alone, in the last few years, hundreds of accounts of thieves of all kinds have been banned and their creations (clothes, property layouts, objects) have been removed from sale.

It is high time that the designers react to this problem. And not wait until one of their relatives is affected by this phenomenon and complains to act

Maybe some internal built sharing system like Steam has steam workshop to post and share creations in.

    Hello Tasha,
First of all I want to thank you very much for all the build you did. I really enjoy playing in the neighborhood. It's endless fun and RP ideas. I love it.

I don't see it as often as I used to and I d like to offer to host the room if you'd like. I am looking for the build described in the Families & Neighbors | Room Guide on imgur. Would you share it?

    Thank you again :)

I made it publicly available so people could use it for their own RPs since I don't really host rooms much anymore, as such I don't really put any rules down for using rooms. Except of course what 3dxchat allow and then just decent courtesy overall. So if you want to host or open the room feel free to do so or add and make things around to fit your RP, just please don't remove stuff like creators names from buildings. I know plush put hers in motel even if its not that easy to notice where it is, so that is why I choose to keep name Molloy Motel outside so people can see its her work.

I don't think I'll ever fully understand that. No matter how much work and heart and soul I put into a room, why do I need so many people in it? For my ego? I'd much rather spend my time there with good friends, someone special to me or just a small handful of people who are really interested in the room. The people who, for reasons I don't understand, simply need to take part in this strange competition are free to decide whether they want to waste a lot of money, time and nerves unnecessarily.
Hide the number of visitors to a room? No point. For people like me it's more of a good idea to start at the bottom of the list if I want to see an interesting room. But if someone prefers to swim in the crowd, they should be allowed to do so just as well.
Enjoy your time with good friends or take part in the hosting fights, everyone as he like, but don't always try to involve other people in it.

Think is traffic influence room activity, sure if you're opening room for only a few friends to stop by it in essence don't matter, but if you run some themed public rooms its dependent on activity to one degree or another to maintain visitors, usually good number is around 10-12 people. But yeah when were talking traffic of around 80-100 people I think is usually mostly about ego trips. But my point being mostly is hard to ruin themed rooms and try maintain traffic if people are constantly reminded there fewer people where they're add, while there is likely more options for interactions in the big rooms, even if the big rooms may not necessarily by their first choices otherwise.

But is I think that is a real tragedy since I believe some really good builders were around, probably left or gave up hosting rooms all together. At least I don't see them host rooms anymore here.

  12. Think they should just remove visitor numbers, so people may be more inclined to go to places that sound more appealing to them. Than just going through looking at places where most people are hanging out, sure of course may still be people instantly leaving room if there isn't many there, but at least they may visit rooms that catches their interest foremost. Opposed to just going where traffic is most predominant. I never understood why public developer rooms never showed visitor numbers but somehow sub hosted rooms has to.

Another one i made with a thin coloured square base, and flatten/scaled mountains and rocks. It is small, but if i wanted to i could stretch the beach for miles, so i am not sure what you mean by not many flat areas.

This is what I mean when you have rotated diagonal surface you will get the floor poses and some other poses looking sorta weird, I tried to fix it in my neighborhood by adding beach towels with bed poses, but will be a issue if you don't have completely flat areas where users interact with terrain for poses.

    Rotatedsurface.jpg

  14. Used to do it with just objects like rotated flat long box for instance and hide edges with mountains, but if I had to do it again I would probably look at the thin curved objects you use for the donut shapes and round tops. It seems unlike I feel like was the case in the past floor animations only look good on flat surfaces, so rather than vertical like I did in the past I would probably aim for flat top and make curve going down into the water. Alternatively one can also use mountains but its way more tricky and you wont get many flat areas then.

    🇫🇷 Bonjour,

Je fais remonter ce sujet, car je me pose la question de savoir, qu'est-il arrivé à cette room et le rp prometteur qu'il était sensé y avoir ? J'ai remarqué que même le site internet créé pour l'occasion n'était plus actif.

    --------------------------------

    🇺🇸 Hello,

I'm bringing up this topic, because I'm wondering, what happened to this room and the promising rp it was supposed to have? I noticed that even the website created for the occasion was no longer active.

Without being able to say 100% for sure, I imagine it had to do with too little support from consistent visitors that allowed for anything really to happen there. It seems to be mantra with many RP rooms and themselves that there more casual sex roleplayers, than those who want something more than that. So those who may actually provide baseline for visitor growth like persistent visitors that stay around for more than just 30-60min wasn't there, as such its hard to maintain any interest for sustainability. Seems to be consistent issue if you want at least more than 30-45min time sex roleplay to built consistent visitor base for it, then if you manage to get one its also hard to keep them staying and interested, if nothing new happen or anything really progresses or keeps being interesting.

But on other hand if you just create room to cater to 30-45min sex roleplays solely is also hard getting room growth, since they don't typically tend to stay or visitor rooms as often if it doesn't always have a somewhat feasible visitor size staying in the room. So is in general hard to run RP theme rooms and be successful at it as the two groups of RPers don't mix all that well together, with briefly sex roleplayers mostly just want their fantasy fix and others wanting something more beside that, if its more indepths RP or just more atmosphere and feeling immersed into room theme.

But again just speculation based on observations and personal opinions on the state of roleplaying in 3Dxchat, nobody can say for sure less Puka returns to give a reason for it being abandoned.

  16. Feel like should be more focus on expanding pose options for those object which currently have few of them, while having more bed poses for instance always feel welcome. We have abundance of them currently, would be much nicer in my opinion getting more for other items and maybe porting some older poses who been limited in gender combination to get those would greatly expand some poses of existing furniture too.

Also thinking increasing poses for object/furniture with few poses would make objects much easier to stand on their own, without having to have say for instance 3-4 furniture or sex objects to have variety of sex animations and poses. It would also help greatly I think for roleplayers to have option of having stand alone item furniture or objects without always having to rely on putting many things same place not to limit pose quantity and options too much for visitors.

  17. Object always have reassigned texture and color which you're then able to change, the base one is the texture called Clean and white. Then of course you will have the global light setting that will impact the object and light sources if you choose to place them inside. Lights work different from each other in way global light have preset color it gives of, you can adjust the value or change time in day cycle to change it somewhat. But its not customizable past picking one day cycle icons and placing in a number value. Light effect themselves you can change both colors and value, however you can't change value with numbers, instead the follow color theory of white and black works as volumes to preexisting color. Meaning that say you want to make a yellow light then you pick yellow color, then use the color swatch range to pull it further to to white or upwards area or closer to black or downwards.
