Due to the DDoS attack on the server, the hard disk was damaged, the system crashed and administrators responded slowly. User data was not affected, however, restoring the game in such conditions is difficult and long.
Our plan is as follows:
We have a new test server, which is located in a more respectable data center. We will transfer all users to the test server to quickly give people the opportunity to play the game. If everything goes well, then all players will receive the patch and immediately be able to play on the test server.

Since the test server has not been fully tested, players will probably encounter bugs, which we will try to quickly patch to fix. Please bare this in mind and please continue to report them.

We understand that playing in this way can be uncomfortable for many players, so we will freeze all current membership time until the situation improves, all registered users will play for free until it's solved.

For people like pretty here they should make an offline only version of this game. Unlimited time with Betty and Bob without the scary notion of other ‘people’. 

Then why are you bitching about WC here? You can have tons of virtual sex without using a WC once. 
And I am pretty much doubt that people leaving the game because of WC lol.
 

WC is such a small part of the whole experience,  I seriously doubt there are legions of players quitting because of WC spam. To tell the truth , spam is usually preferable to many of the convos i have seen on WC , especially the anti-semitic ones , so I just turn off notifications for WC and rarely look at it.
 
Advertising is a legitimate form of communication , even though I usually don't use it in my rooms.
 
But leaving a game because their are ads on WC ?  that would be like returning a car because you dont like ONE of the radio stations it gets on the radio. 
 
 
 

Removing the ability to open rooms to friends, group, and public ? Are you crazy ?
If they do that they will:
1: lose a ton of players.
2: they will need to remove too the build option because what is the use to build nice rooms if nobody else than you can see them ?
3: They'll also need to remove the possibility to DJing as there is no use to be DJing if nobody else than the DJ can hear it.
 
Sorry, but moving back from 3DX 2.7 to 3DX 1.0 don't seem very appealing
The best way to solve the spam problem would be a "anouncement channel" and the ones doing it in world chat once we have this announcement channel should be banned. But for now, like Ex said, The world chat is the only place where they can make announcements

This can be graphic card drivers problem or driver settings related problem(s), I do not see anything like this on my character. With/without clothes or with/without tattoos.

I TRIED to follow this thread silently with a HUGE cup of coffee & some popcorn..... I TRIED.... and I FAILED, as it seems.
 
Some thoughts from my side...
 
 
- I DO have a rl (a quite satisfying btw.   )  but I also am more then "not amused" of being not able to take the road to "3dx-world", to hugg & hold & caress & kiss my LOVE, to fool around and have fun with the ones I see as my close ones, my friends.
 
- It is NOT about loosing "19 cents a day". BUT - as I am running a store in rl by myself - among other things - this is simply NO professional behavior - NOT AT ALL! When you offer a product or a service and get money in return, you have to "deliver", to "supply". If you are not able to supply the already paid good or service, keep your customers informed THAT there is a problem. IF you want to be a "swot"    you even can give them a hint WHAT the problems is and HOW LONG it probably will take till the problem is solved.
 
- I do not know how "big" the company is - if it is Gizmo alone or ..... But I could imagine to be willing to pay more IF we would get the following:
 
* regular "status-reports" (what are the devs on atm, what will come next and so on...) 
 
* "smaller" updates on an regular base (as an example one per month)
 
* one to two "larger" updates a year
 
* getting informed AS SOON AS A PROBLEM appears and HOW LONG IT presumably will take the devs to solve the problem

It IS!
I am playing another online game since some years - it is 16+/ 18+ but not with "adult conent" (NO, it is NOT WOW    ). The "base-amount" is around € 50,- for a year. They also have an "in-game-store" where you can buy additional gear. This is NO must, but some things are "nice to have". Most of my friends there pay additional € 50,- to € 75,-.
BUT - for this sum we get all things I have mentioned above!
 
 
And to end my "runting" - I still think the devs have created something really wonderful" with "this 3dx-world"!
