yeah I realize that I was not making much sense. So yes. I have ingnored an avatar. However as we are able to create up to 3 avatar, I was wondering if this person is able to see me with another fresh avatar.

In my opinion, and I might be wrong, they did not expect such a surge in subscriptions that have overwelmed the current server. This poor planning and proactivity have resulted in this situation. But all I am doin is speculating. @Gizmo and @Lisa are so poor in communicating that we won't really know what is actually happening.

Positively surprised with the patch that was released a few minutes ago:
Build 416 Friend list changes: Left mouse btn click - send PM; Right mouse btn click - view Profile Looking good so far. Will try it out this evening when the 3dxchat servers are busier.
I mean, hypothetically, when they had told us previous week that they'd expect a hotfix within 7 days, I would be happy to wait. That's my point. 
 
 

To me it’s kinda disappointing to see them give some half assed replies with tips that sound more like the kind of advice Players would give other Players instead of a reply by a Developer that knows what they are doing. 
 
That said, I believe them about the DDOS attack, but think it’s also likely 3DX wasn’t specifically targeted but instead the DDOS was on whoever they’re renting Server Space from. 
It would explain why the response was so slow, 3DX being a relatively minor ‘game’ and thus not a priority to get back up and running. 
 
All in all though, the Developers here are showing a rather lackluster response to valid complaints and are very secretive in my view. 
Either because they don’t really Care if we understand what is going on. 
Or because they think we wouldn’t be Able to understand. 
In any case it’s almost insulting. 
But yeah, that might just be me.

@Gizmo have to be honest. I am not sure how the team is structured, however it seems quite unprofessional releasing new patches without proper testing. bugs everywhere. Profiles that don't load, disconnections, etc. You have a great game, with enormous potentials, but managed like a small startup. But 3dxChat has been with us for years. so there is no much excuses. The user base is growing, so at the very least we should get a much more stable system.

@Lisa just read your last post. you guys are reaching a whole new level of BS. From someone that works in the same kind of field, your handling on these issues are so amateurish.

You have 1000s of customers that deseve way better treatment than this. Not sure who owns this game, but the message is clear. you guys are lucky that currently there is not much competition. however this might change at anytime, and if you keep on giving this type of servce, I can only foresee your company to go down and fast.
 

BS. totally. not take it easy, but the opposite. the Devs needs pressure to get things fixed. taking it easy will not solve anything.

Since the new patch i really have hard times to see my own profile or others.. 
That also means i can't talk to anyone if i not are in the same room as them.! This should be fixed ASAP as i know i not are the only one there have this problem

*facepalm* I see it now, is like my e-mail receiving thousands of spam e-mails per minute, I delete it but they keep coming. I mean... now I fail to understand why I did not understand

From my (very loose) understanding, even after a restart the 'queries' would still be being sent so it would have the same effect even after a restart. To carry on IntroNatika's analogy, you could leave the room/building (restart) and re-enter the room and you would still have the 100s of people talking at you. It's the people that need to go away rather than you for it to end.
I could very well be wrong but that's what I take it as?
And i go nuts after 3 or 4 people talking to me at the same time, nevermind 100s lol

Since May 15, our servers have been suffering from a large DDoS attack. We performed a number of actions and were able to restore the forum and bring it back online and kept it stable, but the game server is still down. We have requested support from the datacenter engineers, but unfortunately it supplies limited support during the weekend.
Our main goal is to launch the game server and return you to the game as soon as possible. The lost game time will be compensated back to you all, as well as all players will receive additional bonuses. Extra game time and XGold will be credited to your account when the game is back online.
I will post updates in this thread when I receive them.
