I buy his product. I don't have to be wild supporter or wild critic to do so. If parts of this product annoy me, I can post it into tech- or dev-forum. But then, it is decision of the company how they prioritize the things they want to improve or add. And I assume they make decisions like every other company: from a business perspective. For example: a few people don't like the new bouncy boobs (including me) - but all the guys love them  So from business perspective, I wouldn't change them. You can never satisfy everybody.

But there is also kinda "world" around this business product 3DXCHAT with all the groups and events and discords and websites and tools and... and... and... And I CAN be supporter or critic of this world because I am part of it and I can change it. This is something completely different.

I have to agree with Chloe. If someone (a company / partner in this case) wants to host an event, it's their decision who to support. 
And the statement that we, as paying customers, should be consulted on this is bullshit. When you buy clothes, you don't expect the manufacturer to ask you about the models. So what?

(Of course, Chloe would have complained the loudest if she hadn't been asked, but that's another topic.)

And honestly... if I had been asked, I would have declined. 
For two reasons:
1. You'll get shitpiles of envy and resentment from the "community". Quite obviously. No further proof necessary.
2. This event must be successful! And success in this case does not mean: 100 people. There are the expectations of two companies you have to fulfill.
I would not want to have both. So if you are dissatisfied with the decisions... then just don't join the event.

No, I think I didn't. Because it makes no sense to me. Gizmo offers his "product" to me and I can decide to buy it or not. And since I've never seen a flawless product, there is no need for me to criticize or complain about 3dx. As I said: if I don't like it anymore, I can go. Period. Maybe it is because I understand what lot of others don't seem to understand: 3DXCHAT is driven as a business and not as a fun place for a self-declared community.

I don't think that. First of all, i never criticized gizmo  Then, for example, White Breeze had been good friend with the Offgang. Why should gizmo reward them?
I think it is like Chloe said. She is in the game since... ever? Some say longer than gizmo himself
So you need to know the right people and be at the right place when someone says "hey, we want to do a lovense event, are you interested in supporting that?" Chloe was asked and she did what everybody else would have done as well: she used DJs of her group and partners / friends of her group.  Simple.
It is free decision of one or two companies, no need to do "grassroots decision-making"...

There are a lot of people who invest time and energy in order to create fun for others... DJs who prepare amazing sets, dance groups who practice their unique choreographies, builders who get the last out of the world editor, people who organize and  host RP groups or orgies or parties or whatever events, people who create movies or comics or stories or magazines, people who provide community discords, websites, tools.... 

All these people keep the game running and are responsible for a large part of the fun we all have in here. And they deserve attention and support and respect.

And then there are the others. I like to call them attention whores. People who e.g.
download full DJ sets from Youtube, press play and pretend to be "real" DJs people who create whole dance groups of fake accounts only with the sole purpose to raise the visitor number of their locations people who download several locations, glue them together and pretend to be "builder" people who organize pitty parties and use their fake cancer or fake-whatever-illness to fill a location people who found childish hacker gangs and try to destroy the fun of all others people who are groupies and "very close friends" of childish hacker gangs in order to get attention and respect just to name some of the most disgusting attention whore types.
And all these people deserve nothing. Perhaps contempt. Some of them a ban ofc. And that we call it what it is: BULLSHIT!
People keep telling me that I should just ignore these people. But I cannot. And I will not. Because if I accept their bullshit, then I dishonour the contributions of all the honest creators of "stuff". And I would also get an ulcerated stomach. So I stick to my policy. I will not support such people. I will not be friend of such people.

No no no, I do not claim anything. And usually I do not care about the copy cats. But I can remember the complaining and whining of "some people" so well when someone else opened a club with quite similar name to their club. And I also can remember the complaining and whining of "some people" so well when someone else offered a "Eyes Wide Shut" event in competition to their own event...  Aaaaaaaand I love to mock and ridicule the hypocrites.... So this one is perfect thread for me...
Of course I do copy things as well. But what differs me from the cheap copy cats is that my copies usually are better than the originals... 🤣
I mean, it is not THAT EASY to fail with a copy of something that works quite good... but some people even manage to do that
