I think the best would be to distribute a tool to create poses, but then to be submitted to dev/whatever, for test and global implementation. So we wouldnt have buggy poses and everyone coud access them. Dev could reward submitters with free days or xgold.

So, of course it will generally be a benefit for the game and the community. Being able to create our own poses would be amazing. The problem depends on how it's done and I imagine it's a lot harder than the world editor.
But this shouldn't be a big problem. If you don't know how to use it, then don't. But to compensate for perhaps the difficulty of the editor, all poses created should go through a process that the devs view them, maybe tweak them, then release them every so often in an update for everyone.
If not that idea, then simply have people create them, devs check them, then they can be used by the creator, but! There could be a new tab where things like "Gallery" and "Gifts" are, and it will simply be called "Poses".
The creator of the pose can upload them into this tab and then other users can download them from there. Or just have a forum section where people can upload poses to, similar to the rooms. But regardless of the idea, the devs will most likely need to check the poses created.
 
Another bonus of this is videos. Yes, videos. If the editor is difficult, maybe videos of tutorials on how to use it could be created by some users. Of course it probably won't be allowed on YouTube due to well, the obvious, duh! They could just be uploaded on the forums or something.
But it gets the community more active and involved, with or without the videos being created. Could also attract new people to the game to, just saying.
 
Now a big problem with having the poses going through a process like the one mentioned in the first paragraph is the work needed to do so. And with a load of shitty poses being created to, it would probably be too much. So imma just link what Veronique said because I think it's also a good idea. Probably the best one too.
 
 
I also support the outfit editor. I want that more than a pose editor sooooo... GIMMEH!
 
If these things can't be done. Then I think it's a bad idea. Will create too many annoyances than benefits.

What I would like first  are new gifts - they haven ´t  changed since I have been in 3dx. Sometimes I hardly don ´t know what to send to my friends.
And some new ideas for nicer dresses. In RL no woman would be ready to wear always the same for years!
But I have the feeling I am the only one who has such simple wishes.

I think that it would be a great addition to the game, although really I would rather if you just let us import our own poses and models and things like that instead of a built in editor. I am also not sure why some people seem to think a tiny pose file could lag the server those are way smaller then picture files for example and no one seems to wonder if clicking on someone's profile will lag them its just odd thinking...

Well, this is a big step in game evolution, but I hope that the quality of the game does not suffer.

Possibly. a general voting system for self-developed poses can be introduced.

The poses that fail should not be made available to the general public,

Maybe only in private groups, where gamers can exchange those pose, that are generally not liked.

 

I support the introduction of a Pose Editor to 100% and I look forward to the new possibilities.

And I feel like, if they used resources into making such an update, 99% of the community would go raging about the pointless updates they make x)

We certainly want pose editor, BUT only with the verification of their working capacity. What would they correspond to the quality of those already available in 3Dxchat!

well now u know who to blame for not getting content , cause some very few come here n say woowww ty , al perfect , its a sim game its this its that , and in realitry Gizmo didnt knew what is chat bug n music bug n i had to pm what it is .

Here we have sex poses (mature content) ,chat, clothes, colors, world editor(social part)  etc .
Devs , just admit that this is an adult social game with sexual content, not just a sex game . it`s sims

I have two small ideas maybe suggested before:
 
1. No sex zone or zoning system in world editor, we can marque / set a zone area where all sex animations are disabled for players in the room and that makes it more controllable for some of us where people just have sex on the dance floor although we have extra rooms for that...
 
2. Admin controlled rooms:
 
- Open / Close room lights
- Set day/night and enable day night cycle ( 1 min RL = 1 Hour in game) so every 24 mins the cycle flips.
- Kick / Ban / promote members:
Promotion members is being able to give our associates / friends some kind of rank customized by us like for instance I have a strip club so i want to be able to promote the girls and add "stripper" under their names when they enter the room or "bartender" for my bartender so other players know that these people are "working" and the roleplay goes on plus promoting a member to moderator so they could ban / kick / close room if the owner went afk... you got the drill.  
 
- Room description / welcome message .... For me spamming the local chat is not a favorite of mine but what to do? Maybe add a pop up message feature where we can customize it and pops up on their room whenever a player enters the room... I would like to welcome my guests every now and then
- Maybe we can take the profit from the beer? really? im displaying it in my room for you 3dx devs and getting some sales and i dont get at least a cut from the beer sales?
 
- Promote visitors... like i mentioned above "zoning system" so we have a vip zone that only members we promote get access to that area through a door that lets promoted visitors in and stays closed for other normal visitors i would love to have that in my club....
 
So gizmo i guess they are simple but its up to you

I will say I'm quite happy with the recent updates. We went many years with no building tools. 
Also the social aspect in 3dx is a huge deal. Look how many rooms are open now and how many people occupy these rooms.
 
When you speak of "majority" of why people stay in 3dx... I disagree that the sexual aspect is the majority issue of why people stay. The social aspect has only grown exponentially over the years. I believe the devs recognize this and it's why we are being given these tools.

I personally came in 3dx for sex, some years ago. It was fun the time it was, and even with more pose, you have check this side of the game in a month or less. What made me stay are friends, relations and so on. If it was only the sex part, not sure i would still be here, or maybe by period. People looking only for sex come and go very fast, then comes back, look for fresh people, and leaves again.

 

I think the oldest players on this game didn't stay at all for the sex part only.

 

I totally agree that more sex poses, clothes (for men!!!) would be welcome, but I tend to think that what keeps this game alive is the social part, not the sex one. The sex part is the teaser, the one that makes people come in, but  not the one that make people stay for very long.

 

I have no clue about how hard it is to make poses or clothes, I know 3dx is way behind in term of number of poses compared to AChat for example, but AChat social side is so low, and for graphics, I find 3DX the best,

 

Another point is that a very little part of the user base use the forum, so it is not necessarly representing the community.

 

Maybe they could do an online survey, something that pops up when you log in (one per account) and with some questions to get an idea of what they should do next?

Pretty simple and should be quite easy.

Well I mean we can lower it far enough to where it's not rendered. It's just a small annoyance that when you go back into the editor you need to do it again. It's certainly not a game breaking issue or anything but just a silly annoying bug.

Because even if you can't see it... it's being rendered and it's a massive waste on resources if you have an inside club.
