Another Tribute is Posted here today. The reason is the post is about one of 3DX Original DJ's and who inspired a whole generation of men and women to venture out and do the same. There is not a more humble or genuinely "nice guy" than him. He pretty much introduced 3DX'rs to Live feed Music Streaming and Voicing, And creating musical "SETS" that people could hear and enjoy in any room they had because he provided his own 24/7 link and had created hours and hours of music that could be played anytime, anywhere.
 
 
HIS NAME? DJ ACHILLES or Chilles as he refers to himself.
 
 
 
I was honored to meet him quite some time ago. In fact I messaged him here in forum to ask him lots of questions as an eager NEWBIE wetbacked DJ hopeful and one who was in training. I knew only one thing. I loved MUSIC and loved to see how a great spinner or artist could move a room and inspire music lovers to come and listen and experience for themselves this interactive Medium for musical enjoyment across the board with many genre and many types of Music.
 
He invited me to see his RL set up after meeting and friending me. He showed me LIVE his own personal studio and played for me and showed me how it "can " be done, answering all my questions and truly focusing on everything I asked and what I was concerned about. When it as done and he logged out I was left with very few words I could even speak because I was not only moved by his artistry and Excellence in his craft, but in AWE, total AWE that he took the time to show and teach me, a Virtual Unknown, what he loved, how he did what he did, with the why he did it firmly and indelibly planted in my mind. 
 
Those words? AMAZING! FANFREAKINTASTIC! HOLY CRAP I WANT TO BE THAT GOOD SOMEDAY!
 
He didn't know me before that day. I was just some girl that posted him a personal message and asked him questions to which he went far above my request and TAUGHT me more in those hours than I could have dreamed possible.
 
 
 
Any of you that heard him before, or have heard him through his online 24 hour streams, know exactly what I am talking about.
 
And MORE than that... he remains humble, and a presence here in forum even though personally he has not had time to do events or be on the "game" as much as before.
 
I AM ALSO making this very incredibly unexpected yet thrilling announcement! 
 
 Being the adventurous, hopeful and fearless newb DJ that I am, and with this topic in mind, I posted a message to Achilles, asking if he might PLEASE please come back and participate in an Event just to showcase HIM and some other great DJs who you all have mentioned you love and want to hear more of. I figured, HECK why not? And RobFrostwalker another of my inspirations and favorite DJ's said, when I had mentioned Achilles and his helping me and others in the game, said to me. "Well Wild,Well just ask him. You will never find a nicer guy. You have nothing to lose by asking."And guess what? That humble amazing GUY said YES. So in this new Year 2019 that we are about to enter, DJ Achilles will make an appearance and show us what talent he has always had with his own flare and style that impressed me and many others in the past. The date, time and length of this event is at this point, not set, But I promise you, when it is arranged and Achilles and other of your favorites have been set in the line up for this event, I WILL POST IT ASAP.

And these are but a few of the reasons I have chosen her first, foremost as my TOP PICK, First choice and will always be my Favorite DJ and JUST BECAUSE she is the one who truly inspired me & encouraged me to go out and try doing this hard, difficult job. Oh & not just me, but many many many others as well. She promotes other Dj's on a daily basis. StarrFyre is one who truly 100% is the most caring, devoted DJ you will EVER meet. EVEN her Slogan that identifies her, says it all. "MUSIC IS LIFE." That to me marks a truly great artist, musician, Talent and DJ. She lives and breathes and loves, truly loves music and all kinds of music as well as all kinds of PEOPLE. Two Qualities I both admire and aspire to attain.
 
 
 
 
When I first met Stephanie, aka StarrFyre, I had no idea anything about her. But I was soon captivated by her RADIO LIKE charisma and personality. She could ROCK a room like NO ONE I had ever seen before in this site. Nay, unlike most DJ's I have ever met or heard on radio television or media forms both in RL or Here. I have listened to hundreds of  DJ's on the radio from my early days as a very young child. I was about 6 years old when I first heard Radio personality "Wolf Man Jack" *giggles* I know right? Any of you who know me at all know that is kinda a big surprise. :)I COULD REALLY DIG HIS Persona , his VOICE and his style. *Gasps* I know right? A tiny little six year old saw that in a man she would never personally meet but who was totally entranced by what he could do from the RADIO station booth.
 
But my point is, STARR has that Charisma. She TRULY Has "STAR" Qualities and it has nothing to do with  the name she chose really though it suits her and her "fun persona" she plays here,  to a "T" She is, "The COSMIC, Alien DJ of the Galaxy"
 
I remember the first time I heard and watched her in action. It was well over a year ago now. I was a still pretty much what I would call a newbie. DID not know many people at all. And although I started here in October of 2016, I hadn't gone to many "public events" or concerts in the site. Once I did though, I was hooked! I started to go to more and more. Mostly alone because I was going to go for my own pleasure and enjoyment. It was not a date night thing for me. It was all about what moved my soul and fed it. It was and still is, all about the MUSIC and what felt "right."
 
I have heard in real life, concerts from MASTER performers like Sir Elton John, Shania Twain, Manheim Steamroller, Billy Joel, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Anne Murray, Alabama, Cindy Lauper, Rick Springsfield, The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Choir and Olivia Newton-John to name only a few of the many I have personally heard Live, and in concert.
 
Starrfyre, has every thing a truly engaging artist has. 
 
1. Charisma and charm
2. Openness and grace.
3. Generosity ten fold.
4. Modesty (OH MY GOSH! She simply will not take a compliment even though she genuinely DESERVES tons of them)
5. Love of and promotion of her chosen "career" and in her case it is "show casing" music and other performers in the Music Industry.
 
6. A true genuine love of what she does. Who in spite of personal tragedies, both real and virtual, in spite of terribly difficult circumstances and situations. Still comes on, turns off her personal challenges, and becomes the STAR she truly is, DJ STARRFYRE, the "BEST Cosmic DJ in the Galaxy."
 
7. A selflessness, a genuine and sincere desire to put others first, above and beyond the call of "Duty." More than once this delightful wonderful "HUMAN hearted " being has dropped everything she was doing, and on the spur of the moment as it were, came in to DJ in a venue. And I mean, DROPPED EVERYTHING, even things she needed desperately to do for herself. (Grows very very teary eyed here because she truly is one of the most caring people I have ever met, and one of the most caring people YOU will ever meet.)
 
8. ARTISTRY. She is, simply amazing at spinning tunes and reading a crowd. She can pick you up from the lowest point in HELL and help you see and FEEL so much better. There is not one soul I know can do that better than her in this place. She is my IDEAL DJ. She simply IS one of the VERY best, and in my humble opinion THE BEST IN of ALL DJ's in our little 3DX World.
 
9. She is a perfectionist. She is not satisfied with mediocrity or status quo. She strives constantly to become better, to become more than just a "D J." She wants to and works hard to be flawless.
 
10. And last but certainly NOT least, This woman knows her music inside and out. She DJ's in real life as well and she knows her material, background of the artists and bands, and knows every genre of music and can  pick unerringly, what will suit the crowd she plays for.
 
 
 
THIS IS ONLY TEN REASONS WHY, DJ STARRFYRE IS MY FIRST AND TOP PICK IN THIS VIRTUAL WORLD.
 
Yes, only ten but they are big reasons for her to be my number one choice as best DJ in 3DX!!

Today I am going to Highlight Another DJ. In fact a Pair of DJ's. Why the Pair? Because they are Chloe and Felia, and they are married to each other!
 
 
 
 
 
I first met Chloe about a year ago. Did not really see her DJ at first but then she joined a few groups I was in so I thought I would go to some events and give her a watch and listen. Which I did. One thing about Chloe, she does not do anything half way. She designed her room and show cased her talent and her wifes in a room she herself had built and it was amazing and so were they in Djing. Both showing great talent.  The last event I witnessed more recently was this one:

in which Chloe built the room and DJ'd along with her wife Felia and myself. Chloe has combined her love of Felia, her love and mastery of building and her love of music all in this one place. The pair of them are a great addition to any event!

You should know by now you WILL be missed.....BUT, who can be truly sad when we know you move more into that REAL life where greater adventures and accomplishments wait for you there.
 
Your intelligence and creativity were seen and even felt in here. You impacted ME in ways I recall vividly now and will never forget. Yes, I am one of a legion of friends with you on here and a group who won't forget you and your meaning in each of our lives.

So... for those that might have missed Little Friday this week, this will be the last event in Absolute, as my time has come to an end here.
I would like to thank all those that visited Absolute and those that continually supported the idea that a community of like minded people could gather and enjoy music, without the need for dramatics and chaos.
That a place could exist as a haven to relax from the stressors of the world, to have great conversations, laughter... enjoying the company of good people.
To especially add to the vocabulary an ever important word that will benefit you through life... FRACK! 
To know that the door was and will always remain broken since the moment Savage walked through it.
To the many hours of 'deck chicken' and avoiding the sharks.

Fucking love the video.  One hell of a fucking DJ at his age.

Here is a 3 year old DJ, who also happens be more talented than you, and a lot more mature.
 

Every DJ who has a story to tell while playing his music and who makes ppl happy while playing it is a good DJ.

Heh, you know. The more I read Alivia prattle, the less i -want- to be known as a DJ.
I'd rather be known as just a good MC or Host that people like to visit, then be labeled as a DJ if that is the elitist attitude that comes with it.
 
Do I set up a playlist and press play?
Yes, Yes I do. Does that mean I'm lazy? Not at all, there is a lot of work involved in getting a playlist 'just' right, to see the songs flow into another, making them fit a theme (if the party has one) Etc.
 
Sure I'm not doing this 'live' but that's because I find it more efficient to do my 'work' beforehand.
Again, so I have more freedom to do what I think -matters- and that is to Entertain.
 
To be clear, this is my way, and I respect those that do it differently.
There ain't no 'Right' way to do this, and everyone claiming otherwise missed the point of it all.
 
Again back on topic, I saw a DJ Shovel mentioned above here.
Is that 'Shovelhead' as an Avatar name? In that case, I wholeheartedly agree, he's pretty darn awesome.

He is an excellent DJ. He also helped with getting The Soap Factory known. He uses a mic as well and when he talks he has an underlying laugh in his voice that is just infectious. He sounds like he is having a blast, which draws the guests in the room to join in. He is also thoughtful and has helped others to improve their DJ techniques. The guy is in a class of his own.  Go check him out and see.

What a nice guy. He enjoys DJ-ing and plays to his audience. His rooms are joyous and friendly. If he is playing in a room, you are sure to have a good time. Go see him in action. His knowledge, no matter what the genre of music is impressive. He is always willing to help out when needed and is a generous and kind soul. We are lucky to have him as our friend.

Another great guy. He is a rocker at heart, though he does play some blues! However, the louder and noisier the music, the better. He rocks the room while head banging and you can almost smell the leather and petunia oil. His current library of music is extensive. It is very rare that something is requested and T does not have it. If you like stamping your feet and punching the air, he is your man!
 
 
DJ Shovel -  aka Shovelhead aka Jersey. 
 

 
 
He plays classic Rock and Blues. He is just a no frills, what you see is what you get type of bloke. But that simplicity is utter genius and works amazingly well. He fills rooms and gives everyone such a good time. Before you know it, the night is over and its time to go home! He has played many times at The Soap Factory and again, helped to make our room known. Look out for his room when he opens. If you have requested a song from him in the past he will play it for you again without the request if he sees you in his room. His memory is amazing. 
 
 
DJ Kandikisses aka xCarrie.  
 

 
She is an amazing gal. She is willing to help, plays some awesome tunes and has filled in for us at very short notice.  She will get you dancing and enjoying your night. She has a lot of mixes that helps to keep your feet tapping. She also has a country and western room that is a great night out.  She gets along with everyone and has a music soul, heart and spirit and will get you on your feet whether you want to or not. She is a welcome addition to the soap factory family and we are blessed to have her talent.

This guy is from my Homeland so of course he is fucking awesome. The guy has filled in and helped out in times of need. He always comes through and plays a fabulous set of tunes. He also has a spectacular library and as a drummer in real life, knows exactly what he is talking about when he talks about songs. He makes sure a set of tunes is suited to your particular needs and goes that extra mile to ensure all runs smoothly. Top Man and good friend to both of us.

This lady is amazing and fairly new on the scene and already gaining the respect of other Dj’s. She plays an awesome room and has had us all rocking several times in the Soap Factory.  Again she gets along well with others easily and has a very positive outlook. Star is our latest DJ to join us and from her shy, but endearing personality she is fun, versatile and can make the room dance, shake and shimmy. We have had a blast when she has played for us. She can do requests and if you see her lining up to DJ in a room, go visit. She is sure to give you a great night. 
 
These guys are our favourite DJ’s for sure. Through their time DJ-ing for us, B and I have adopted each of them as close friends and some are even our Soap family. Some may have moved on for different reasons but the memories we have made together remain precious and is part of the History of The Soap Factory which of course is very dear to us. (We love our club!)
 
We wish all of them luck where ever their real and virtual life leads them.  We have been truly blessed to have them in our circle and their music has only added to the spirit of The Soap Factory. AND we of course look forward to working with them again in  the near future and in 2019. 
 
There are no doubt plenty of other DJ's in 3dxchat, we have yet to see and hear in action, either established or up and coming but the ones above are Soapers and dear to our hearts.

One thing this topic showed is what does make someone not a good DJ. I can see clearly that would be a big ego, only playing music to please themselves and not the audience and having a toxic personality. Will be avoiding them and checking out some of the ones you all listed.

http://3dxforum.com/index.php?/topic/8151-personal-choice-top-djs-and-their-qualities-that-make-them-truly-great/?p=319007 I've reposted it.  Anyone that knows Sammy knows what she means and since you don't know, someone gets a mixed song, plays it, says they did it but they bought it but another person goes on youtube and finds it, doesn't buy it and then claims differently which is an issue in the game since before I started in 2015.  Back then it was a requirement to have your own mixed music to be a official 3DX DJ but a good bit know that wasn't always the case with what was played.  You on the other hand made it clear that if a DJ doesn't know how to mix they aren't a DJ as that's not a live performance.  I've explained that you need to know what and how to use the equipment and/or software to even start to DJ because without it, guess what you're not able to DJ.  But I guess you actually reading what I wrote wasn't in the cards for you because that is what it takes to start to DJ.  I didn't sling insults I simple stated the real facts of what it takes to even start to become a DJ as mixing comes later once you're familiar with the equipment and/or software.  But hey, I guess when someone who knows what they're actually talking about, does this both in real at local bars, clubs, schools and other functions and online as a business for local businesses to play in their offices, again come talk to me when you know what it fully takes to be a DJ not just knowing how to mix which includes all genres not just EDM but rock, country and so on.

Bringing this back on topic.  There are a few on here that over time that I would actually listen to, the list isn't many but I don't play favorites or say that I'm inspired by them as I've been a DJ long before coming here and my inspiration was outside of the game

The first ones who inspired me, it was long time ago when I started 3dx, so Achilles, JessicaX, Nixx, Nikki and I liked a lot Nelly too.
 
I couldn't make a list of my favorite ones. I tend to listen more to friends, as they play at the parties I go. Ofc, my favorite one is Lilly, cos I saw her start djing long time after me, and she became much better than I am.
 
If I had to pick one name, it would be Xanar, I don't always like what he plays but I do like the way he creates an atmosphere and talks at the mic.
 
I know also as well that there is plenty of DJ out there that I never heard and would deserve to be named too in this thread.
 
I will also mention CosmosCookie, as he was my partner in our 39 hours live djing in a pool party somewhere in february 2016. This looks like old times and I see now so many talented people all around that it would be hard to point specifically at one. As long as the dj likes what he/she does, and people like what he/she plays, nothing else matters.

I agree let the Honey person have her topic and everyone just enjoy the music because all we can do is be who we are, all we can do is be where we are, all we can really do is be.

DJMikeBurleigh is also always a hoot to listen too. Sometimes sprinkling snippets of Stand Up Comedy into his parties.
 
Not sure if he reads this but there’s also TheBestJoe who often hosts a Spanish beach club or party room. Even though I don’t speak Spanish the dude has awesome tunes and makes you feel welcome in his rooms. Always a good time in his rooms

To end the DJ bullshit once and for all look up what Webster's dictionary says, that is a DJ end of story. There are professional DJs playing in 3DX that can tell you it is not the same, just like a real whore playing on 3DX can tell you it is not the same. (Hey virgins out there, real sex and 3DX sex is not the same, I know, I know, a shocker!)
A fake DJ to me is anyone who takes a set or list already made by someone else and plays it off as their own. If a DJ is not doing that then to me in this game they are a dj.
I have a lot of respect for the professional DJs and those who have played professional DJs due to what they do in order to play legally. The topic is type the name of a DJ you like or do what I did type the names of the DJS you liked hearing. There are some I mentioned that I may or may not even speak with but there is no denying on a personal taste that they have djing skills that I personally liked. So type them..

Oh & not just me, but many many many others as well. She promotes other Dj's on a daily basis. StarrFyre is one who truly 100% is the most caring, devoted DJ you will EVER meet. EVEN her Slogan that identifies her, says it all. "MUSIC IS LIFE." That to me marks a truly great artist, musician, Talent and DJ. She lives and breathes and loves, truly loves music and all kinds of music as well as all kinds of PEOPLE. Two Qualities I both admire and aspire to attain.
 
 
 
 
When I first met Stephanie, aka StarrFyre, I had no idea anything about her. But I was soon captivated by her RADIO LIKE charisma and personality. She could ROCK a room like NO ONE I had ever seen before in this site. Nay, unlike most DJ's I have ever met or heard on radio television or media forms both in RL or Here. I have listened to hundreds of  DJ's on the radio from my early days as a very young child. I was about 6 years old when I first heard Radio personality "Wolf Man Jack" *giggles* I know right? Any of you who know me at all know that is kinda a big surprise. :)I COULD REALLY DIG HIS Persona , his VOICE and his style. *Gasps* I know right? A tiny little six year old saw that in a man she would never personally meet but who was totally entranced by what he could do from the RADIO station booth.
 
But my point is, STARR has that Charisma. She TRULY Has "STAR" Qualities and it has nothing to do with  the name she chose really though it suits her and her "fun persona" she plays here,  to a "T" She is, "The COSMIC, Alien DJ of the Galaxy"
 
I remember the first time I heard and watched her in action. It was well over a year ago now. I was a still pretty much what I would call a newbie. DID not know many people at all. And although I started here in October of 2016, I hadn't gone to many "public events" or concerts in the site. Once I did though, I was hooked! I started to go to more and more. Mostly alone because I was going to go for my own pleasure and enjoyment. It was not a date night thing for me. It was all about what moved my soul and fed it. It was and still is, all about the MUSIC and what felt "right."
 
I have heard in real life, concerts from MASTER performers like Sir Elton John, Shania Twain, Manheim Steamroller, Billy Joel, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Anne Murray, Alabama, Cindy Lauper, Rick Springsfield, The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Choir and Olivia Newton-John to name only a few of the many I have personally heard Live, and in concert.
 
Starrfyre, has every thing a truly engaging artist has. 
 
1. Charisma and charm
2. Openness and grace.
3. Generosity ten fold.
4. Modesty (OH MY GOSH! She simply will not take a compliment even though she genuinely DESERVES tons of them)
5. Love of and promotion of her chosen "career" and in her case it is "show casing" music and other performers in the Music Industry.
 
6. A true genuine love of what she does. Who in spite of personal tragedies, both real and virtual, in spite of terribly difficult circumstances and situations. Still comes on, turns off her personal challenges, and becomes the STAR she truly is, DJ STARRFYRE, the "BEST Cosmic DJ in the Galaxy."
 
7. A selflessness, a genuine and sincere desire to put others first, above and beyond the call of "Duty." More than once this delightful wonderful "HUMAN hearted " being has dropped everything she was doing, and on the spur of the moment as it were, came in to DJ in a venue. And I mean, DROPPED EVERYTHING, even things she needed desperately to do for herself. (Grows very very teary eyed here because she truly is one of the most caring people I have ever met, and one of the most caring people YOU will ever meet.)
 
8. ARTISTRY. She is, simply amazing at spinning tunes and reading a crowd. She can pick you up from the lowest point in HELL and help you see and FEEL so much better. There is not one soul I know can do that better than her in this place. She is my IDEAL DJ. She simply IS one of the VERY best, and in my humble opinion THE BEST IN of ALL DJ's in our little 3DX World.
 
9. She is a perfectionist. She is not satisfied with mediocrity or status quo. She strives constantly to become better, to become more than just a "D J." She wants to and works hard to be flawless.
 
10. And last but certainly NOT least, This woman knows her music inside and out. She DJ's in real life as well and she knows her material, background of the artists and bands, and knows every genre of music and can  pick unerringly, what will suit the crowd she plays for.
 
 
 
THIS IS ONLY TEN REASONS WHY, DJ STARRFYRE IS MY FIRST AND TOP PICK IN THIS VIRTUAL WORLD.
 
Yes, only ten but they are big reasons for her to be my number one choice as best DJ in 3DX!!
