  1. So not only is my ignore list suddenly, bizarrely, needlessly, and inexplicably empty, but ... and this is almost funny ... when i try to add someone back to my ignore list ... i add the person ... their name appears in my ignore list ... so far so good ... but the person that actually gets ignored is my goddamn WIFE.    Stop laughing.  It's not funny, dammit.  And no, I didn't misclick.

Oh.  And another thing?  It appears that only one person at a time can be added to my ignore list.  This is a problem because I have a bunch that desperately needs to be ignored ASAP.

So if anyone out there is wondering why you're no longer ignored by Yours Truly, please hang in there--I'm working on it.  I'll getcha back where you belong as soon as i can.

  2. ceres this has happened to me in other games n the cause was that my curent gpu at that time wasnt working wellunderclocking helped me cause card had burned some circuits n couldnt handle all the power that originaly could handle undrclocking helped for a while  till i bought new card n send the bad card in tec they told me about burned circuits ,

also black screen indication is gpu fault blue screen is cpu

The weird thing is?  With my GPU I can play ANYTHING on ultra ... like all day long ... with no problems.  3dx is the ONLY game with these stupid black screen crashes.  But underclocking the GPU seems to have solved my 3dx crash problem.  I don't underclock for any other game.

So I'll just stick with my current GPU until it's obsolete (and I can afford a new GPU).

  3. At random times, the graphics of my game will lockup though the sound and music will continue with no problem.

I had a similar problem.  My screen would go totally black (like I lost monitor power) but I could hear music playing.  I'd have to power down and restart.  Then it would happen again.  This happened only with 3dx.

I tried every fix under the sun ... and the only thing that fixed it was to underclock my GPU slightly.

So now to play 3dx I start an EVGA utility that underclocks my GPU.  Then I start 3dx.  Underclocking the GPU totally fixed the freeze / crash problem I had been struggling with for over a year.

    I hope this helps.

  4. I'm voting No on this.

    *****

    In closing

    Yes to more poses.

    No to user-created ones.

    -Derai

That's not the choice that is offered.

Does anyone here really think the devs are suddenly going to start cranking out new poses?  If you do ... can I please have some of what you're smoking?

There are two possible options here:

    1)  A pose editor (and many user-created poses); or

    2)  No pose editor and we continue forever with the poses we have now.

    Those are our choices.

People voting against a pose editor:  do you have any idea how long people have been BEGGING for FFF?  All that begging ... and it hasn't happened.

A vote against a pose editor is a vote for the status quo.  The status quo of nothingNo new poses.

  5. Some of the "no" answers are making more sense. I changed my vote.  What I'd rather see is an in-house programmer who is dedicated to poses.

Right!  Forget the pose editor.  It's a bad idea!  Horrible!  Wrong!  It's stupid and bad to have players creating poses.  I mean ... look at what a complete failure the World Editor has been.  All those new rooms are unprofessional and creepy.  I've had to iggy 9348034958305985 new room creators in the last two days.  We don't want a repeat of THAT, do we?  Plus, people are SELLING rooms created with the World Editor!  Tonight had to pay $249.99 in Swiss Francs just to get into a player-created 'medium-sized-cock-but-it's-really-about-how-you-use-it' room.  As we all know, the new World Editor has created a microeconomy that has RUINED 3dx.   I changed my vote to 'no' on the World Editor too, by the way.

So if you let players create poses, they will sell those too!  It will cost THOUSANDS to buy a boobie-kissing pose!  I've seen the future with the Pose Editor and it was a Hellish apocalyptic nightmare where the living envied the dead.  Plus, it was only like 20 FPS and it was really jagged and stutter-ey.  Not smooth at all.

Yeah ... so WE ALL HATE THE NEW WORLD EDITOR!  DON'T WE?  DON'T WE?  .... Don't we?

Well ... I can say (without any exaggeration or hyperbole whatsoever) that the Pose Editor--if it is created--will be a million trillion gabillion times worse than the World Editor, plus Smallpox, the Black Death, AIDS, and antibiotic-resistant gonorrhea, all put together.  Times ten

I think CowboyBob is on the right track.  His plan to get new poses is the RIGHT one!

Let's just the devs do it

The dearth of new poses for the last year or two GUARANTEES that we will have DOZENS of new poses this year!  Right?  Right?  I mean USE YOUR BRAIN!  It's SO OBVIOUS!

But I have a FOOLPROOF plan to speed things along:  Tomorrow at midnight GMT let's all join hands ... in a big circle ... and all of us at the same time ... some of us will have candles ... and we'll all close our eyes and we'll all simultaneously wish REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY HARD for new poses.  The problem over the last few years ... was that we just didn't WISH HARD enough!  I'm SURE my plan ... to wish ... for CowboyBob's plan ... to come true ...   will work!  How can it not?  It's common sense, sheeple!  That's why I changed my vote on the Pose Editor to 'no' along with CowboyBob.

If you think about it rationally ... like CowboyBob and I have ... it's clear that the devs are going to start cranking out those poses any day now.  I'm sure they will hire that "in-house programmer who is dedicated to poses" any second!  In fact, he's probably already BEEN hired!  I bet his name is Gordon.  I wonder if he likes to be called Gordo?  Hiii, Gordo!!!    :D  Maybe Gordo has new poses all ready for uploading tomorrow!  MAYBE GORDO ALREADY UPLOADED A BUNCH OF NEW POSES!

SO WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING POSE EDITOR!   WE HAVE GORDO!  You 85% that voted for the pose editor ... I bet you're feeling really silly now aren't you?  Aren't you?  Hahaha!  (that was me laughing at you 85% 'yes' voters)

/me runs off to log in and see all the new poses ... especially the brand new FFF.

  6. Avi are smooth for they use human sensor. (real human in motion). You can't do this.

    Ugh.  This again?

"Human sensor"?  What does that even mean?  Do you think the devs hire porn actors and scan their sex movements in a laser-equipped studio to make a 3d digital map that they upload into a supercomputer?   :P  Somehow I doubt that.  Unity has an animator component.

And how do you know what the new hypothetical pose editor can and can't do.  It doesn't even exist yet.  Are you from the future?  If so, can you please PM me some upcoming winning lottery numbers?

What you're saying (once again) directly contradicts what Goose says.  Maybe someone with actual knowledge (like THX) can opine what is possible or impossible.

    Actually .... he already has.

  7.  it may even increase the pressure on the devs to add new animations to fill missing poses and not decrease it.

I dunno ... the devs have been highly resistant to the screaming of their customer base for new poses for a long long long long time.  Why would they change suddenly?

Maybe just make more Poses. People pay $20+ Bucks on this. Don't make them do all your work too. I used to pay but It isn't worth it for what we get right now.

You're right.  And at the end of the day, you'll still be right ... and we still won't have new poses.  Complain all you want--just don't hold your breath.  I think (and I hope) that Gizmo's post that starts this thread is a recognition that the devs need the players' help in creating new poses.

The only way we're going to get new poses on a consistent basis ... is to allow the players to create them.  The only way we're going to get new clothes on a consistent basis ... is to allow the players to create them.  Our only real hope of getting anything worthwhile ... is to allow players to create it.

On a more positive note:  Look at what a smashing success the World Editor is.  Keep up the momentum, devs!  You're on the right track!  Pose editor first, and then let's talk about a clothing editor.

  8. To your second line "personally" what other people do doesn't bother you, well maybe it bothers me or others? Maybe it impairs my immersion if suddenly game quality takes nosedive down?

if for example I am in orgy room enjoying my time and suddenly there are people doing poses that disgust me or are barely animated, where necks or bodies barely move or move in unrealistic broken, twisted way.  Why would they make poses to ruin other people fun? Now we got people masturbating on you,  who knows what else we would get with unregulated editor? Considered that? Ignorelist isn't solution because it doesn't remove them from your game only hides them from your eyes and as we know there are DLLS which you can use to completely remove ignore of other person.

I am totally on board with the idea of a pose editor. But I believe that there should be safeguards before any player-created pose is adopted widely.

There are poses that could be created ... that could be toxic to other players.  Consider how the game could be damaged with the following:   [TRIGGER WARNING]

    • A pose where a player slugs another with a fist, or kicks another player, or stomps a player's head.
    • A pose where a player strangles another.
    • A Nazi salute: some asshole will undoubtedly create a "pose" where the players Sieg Heil each other.
    • A player posing as if to shit on another.
    • A hair-pulling, ass-slapping pose.  That might be welcome to someone (like myself) that is into BDSM, but it could be very hurtful to someone that isn't into it.
    • I can think of a lot of bondage poses that would be disturbing to someone not into bondage.
    • A player miming shooting another player, with the 'victim' falling to the floor and twitching in death throes.
    • There are people out there that are into necrophilia.

I'm sorry to be so graphic here, but I'm trying to illustrate how horribly a pose editor could be abused.  We cannot allow this kind of stuff in game.  So if we are to have a pose editor, what's the solution?  Well, I can think of two approaches:

First, maybe before a player-created pose is adopted and available to the community at large--it should be approved by the devs.  Actually, to help the devs' workload, I think a better approach would be to have dev-selected player-moderators review and approve (or not) player-created poses before they become widely available.

Alternately, maybe the game user-interface could be modified to add a preview of a pose.  Then you could see an animation of a pose on a thumbnail before deciding whether to click 'accept'.  Actually?  There probably should be a thumbnail animation no matter what.

Another thought:  BDSM poses should be flagged so that people who aren't into it don't mistakenly accept a pose that could be disturbing and / or traumatic to them.

Yeah.  So as much as I want to see a pose editor in 3dx; I don't want it to end up destroying the game.

We should talk about this some more.

  9. No bouncing breasts, not natural... it is very creepy. Very far from what we have now. You could do it but it is creepy

Did you bother to read Goose's post?  I quoted it for you.  He dashed those poses off in 20 or 30 minutes to make a point.  Jesus Christ.  They could be polished.

Is an unfinished pose used as an illustration really so "creepy" that you'd prefer to wait until the end of time (and a day) for another pose from the devs?

  10. Yes. Just Do It.

    Anyone remember the following post?

I made some of these animations faster than the others to demonstrate how fast they can be played without looking too weird. Some of them are jumpy but that's just how they saved as a gif. And yes there's a lot of oral because there's barely any in-game already, though the majority of these are user suggestions from this thread.

These are all 16-20 frame loop animations, while an in-game animation would be something like 120 frames (I'm just guessing). Those animations would have constraints on certain bones to change their movement over time to make it look less repetitive.

None of these pictures here have polished head/face/hand/finger/legs/feet bone movement, they're simply for demonstration. These all took about 20-30 minutes each but if I were to do a full animation it would have all of the above and only take about an hour to complete each final 'pose'.

Why am I doing this? Because right now I have nothing better to do (holiday woo woooo) and more importantly I want to show you how easy this is (lazy devs).

So 20 to 30 minutes for Goose (an admittedly experienced designer) to create a new pose.  Or was he lying?

I just don't see why it would be soooo damn impossible for a newbie to create a good-looking pose in a few hours .... using pre-rigged 3dx models, and a quality built-in pose editor / animator.
  11. I vote no... simply because this is the game developer's job... not ours. Put effort into giving us content like, as in your job... not palming it off onto us.

    Hii, Pixie!  Mwuah!!

You're right: it is the devs' job.  Nevertheless, here we are with no new poses.  The devs simply aren't interested in investing the time to create them.  I mean ... look how long it's been since a single new (non-crappy) pose was added.

Just consider how long people have been begging for FFF.  Then consider how long people have been begging for BDSM.  Think we'll ever get either from the devs?  If you do, pinch yourself.  You're dreaming.

Now consider all the incredible places that people are creating with the World Editor.   More and more every day.

Lets say a pose editor comes out.  We'd have a dozen decent FFF poses in a week.  We'd have a dozen decent BDSM poses in a freaking day.  We'd have a bunch of crappy poses too, granted, but maybe (like others have suggested) a peer-review system could be implemented.  Maybe only the highest peer-voted poses get disseminated (no pun intended) to the larger community.

The key here (IMO) is to get rid of the bottleneck of the devs' inability or unwillingness to create quality content.  If the people that love 3dx and play 3dx are allowed to create new (peer reviewed)  content, then 3dx will blossom.

    So I vote yes.

  12. Passionate but possibly flawed argument revealing bias. Demand for action that is unlikely to occur.

Indignant response taking a bafflingly personal offense that the OP is concerned with one particular issue, rather than the responder's own individual pet problem which is far more urgent to responder.
