Please use this thread to post your World Editor Builds to show authenticity and ownership. It's not a perfect solution to the problem of room theft but hopefully it's a step in the right direction.

It is highly suggested that you post your screenshots here before opening your room to the public. This way the date of your post will back up your claims.

#2 I tried to help. I PMd you and was very kind in trying to explain to you that others might possibly see this as disrespectful and you gave me instant attitude. I just dropped it because I could tell I was not going to get you to understand the scenario. I was merely trying to help.

#4 A little common courtesy and respect goes a long way. Maybe you both (or all 3) need to remember that there are real people here behind the screen and many of us have invested a lot of time into the community so we may not take it too kindly when people come in with an attitude of... "its a sex game". The good thing about this, as one poster already mentioned... Most people with this attitude get bored and leave after their initial month. The ones who stay really know and understand what 3dx really has to offer.

I have not tried a control pad in VR but it works with the touch controllers. The only drag is that you can't use the sticks to move. You have to use your head to point and press a button on the touch controller to move to that location. So it's a bit like mouse control but your head is the mouse movement and your touch controller has the mouse buttons

A filtered system would be nice and i can see many advantages to it, but I don't think anything this will ever happen. There's still bugs in the game that were there from the start and they are still not fixed 5 years later. 5 years!

Bummer that I will miss this but I know Felia and Chloe will keep everyone entertained.

That was super fun yesterday. All DJs made it and everything worked fine without troubles. So I am now much more relaxed for next weekf round to of MIOBI will happen.

I find your comment very interesting. First, because you are generalizing, as most in this thread have, to what DJs are and are not. Sure, I agree with your statement that 99.3% of the music shared in 3Dx is not created by the individual that delivers it. There has been exceptions to this. I, myself have "mashed" a few songs, creating a new "dish" (using your waiters to cooks reference) and even creating my own music track to underlie when I voice. Know your facts before you brand an entire population as one thing.
 
Second, again you generalize in stating that a DJ isn't creative. Yes, there are people out there that just toss music into a list without much thought or creativity, but there are many others that take the time, hours if not days to formulate a well crafted list of music, based on a theme, and in some cases, create graphics and posts to coincide with the event, as well as possible reflections in their room to add to the ambiance. That doesn't include the possible voicing, engaging those in the room to keep the energy flowing, insuring that anyone in attendance will not only enjoy the room, but enjoy the community that they are experiencing in that moment.
 
Delivering music to such a varied group of people takes more than just pushing song after song in a playlist, so to everyone's merit, small pieces of their comments in this thread are valid. But come on, how much can we take a topic, that most of us agree is not relevant to what someone labels themselves, and just enjoy the experience that comes from it?
 
On a personal note, I really don't care if people come to Absolute and think I am just a "waiter". I enjoy what I do for my own reasons. I am not here to change your perceptions of definitions in the English language. I am here to share hard rock and metal. I am here to educate about music. I am here to hopefully entice you to enjoy the community and the experience, when it is all said and done.

Stop trying to put people in boxes or toss labels onto them.

Haha well sry a DJ isn't a person that make it's own music... Oh I wanted to stay out of this discussion because it is super silly. But seriously a DJ is a person who plays music. Some, especially those spinning electronic music, mix songs, make transitions, or do more advanced stuff with songs from others. A music producer creates it's own songs. And sure some DJs are producers as well, but not all DJs are producers.

Pretty simple and should be quite easy.

If we don't need the water in a build... it saves a lot on the performance if the water is not there because it's being rendered even if you cannot see it.

Unless you are willing to try and explain why it's bad to be a feminist... how about we all just stay on topic and leave politics out of it for once. 

Considering that this isn't an event being posted. This should've actually been posted in Open Forum. But I digress. In the near 4.5 years that I've been a part of this community, I've learned a few things. There are two types of players on here. Some come here for only fame and self-gain, and others come to be with friends and just have fun. About 3 years ago DJs were few and rooms that were open were few as well. But as the community grew larger, so did the competition with rooms and DJs. I will admit I have wanted recognition a few times in the past. But I've learned that playing like that, will only cause problems. 3DXChat is a place to escape everyday mundane life and be able to socialize with friends. 
 
While sex is a major part of the game, many forget the social part. I would never be where I am now without the support and help of the friends I've come to know and love on here. The best DJs of 3DX are those that share their passion with everyone and know both humility and integrity. Those that worry only about fame and having numbers in their room only bring shame to the true meaning of being a 3DX DJ. It's like the old saying goes. Anyone can be a painter, but not everyone can be an artist. Now I'm not saying that some DJs are better than others. Each DJ are amazing in their own right. However, there are those that have out-shown their talent and hard work than others, and that's just my personal observation. 
 
Seamyst, I am happy that you are enjoying yourself and have and much success with your parties. The only reason you have had so many show up is that way you treat people in the community. Respect and a kind personality is the key to gaining respect and trust of others. By supporting each other we grow stronger. The reason why groups like OX failed was that they only cared about themselves and abused the art. Let us all be thankful to those that helped us reach goals we set ourselves. I hope everyone enjoys the holidays and I will continue to have fun with you many more years to come.....That is unless Neko-chan decides to tie me up in a ball of pink yarn.
