  1. I was particularly scared about the comments I saw in the youtube video...

You install the game... a fee is charged... you notice an anomaly, de-install and re-install again... another fee is charged.

Sometimes people install and re-install several times, mainly due to connection issues originated by ISP, firewall, country regulations, streaming problems... whatever...

I would understand if the charge was based on IP address, not multiple installations on the same device.

Was going to come back. Have read forums about the patch and gave up for another year with a hope that they will finish the update as soon as possible 🙃🧡

You are welcome in the forums even if the (full) update is late on the main game. 😎

If there is a password portection and the designer of the room/objects gives this password to other then it is the problem of the designer. The full responsibilty has the designer. This endless discussion of who did design what and is using it where and why will be over then!

If the designer shares the room to the public or to friends, then the full responsibility is the designer. What is the difference of having  password protection or not? Or you want to share the file to everyone but the password only for a few? That's nonsense.

If you want to protect your creations, keep the files for yourself. Simple, not endless.

  4. As Gizmo said, if you don't share the world file, no one should be able to use it (at least easily).

By sharing it, you know it can be modified or used by others.

I created some worlds using parts of other publically shared files. Of course I didn't even think of selling it. I'm totally against it.

The fact that world file is a text file is handy to allow some transformations (like reducing file size by decreasing decimal places on coordinates, or relocating an entire world, or changing grass mountains to snow mountains to have summer/winter variants using a simple find/replace).

it's not hard to make and develop on it's variants, could be great for both bdsm kinks and a yorha cosplay... eh?

Could they be made equivalent to glasses? In this case we would need to anticipate it since character customization time.

Additionally... some of the dressing props could be confugurable to have an initial state of "off" (so we could wear the blindfold only when required).

    Hello,

I understood :) ... but I think it will be easier to talk with Hincholas than to convince the devs to provide you a copy of the file 😉.

Please note that the original beach has some elements that are not available elsewhere (flying birds, diving from pier, volleyball net).

    Good luck!

    Take care.

  7. Check this great tool from @Halderim.

    https://3dxtools.net/

Among other things it has a Text tool that generates world format code that you can integrate/merge into your file.

As an advice, generate the file with text using the tool, edit it to resize and add the panel, add a big (BIG!) bright object and save to a file. Then merge it into your original file, locate the panel (using the big bright object as a guide) and place it where you want (and delete the big object).

The installer does not install the app as windows actually does normally, it has nothing to do with the version of windows you use.

The installer is actually a self-extracting file that unpacks in whatever directory it is located at.

This type of install is what is known as "Portable Install". It relies on its own files to run, a good example of this is a Blender zip file, it can be run in any directory and uses its own resources to work.

It also creates a directory, Documents/3DXChat/, if it is not there already, this is where your avatar and screenshots and some game files it needs are stored.

The game is run from the directory it was extracted to, that is why there is no application in your start menu, and no uninstall in control panel.

To uninstall the game just delete the directory it resides in. To completely remove it from your system you also have to delete the directory in Documents and all the registry entries as well.

To make shortcut for your desktop or taskbar, go to the directory i.e... Downloads/3dxchat/game, in here you will find the actual executable the game uses. R Click the executable and choose-Send to Desktop (create shortcut).

There is another 3dxchat.exe in the main directory also, why there is does not make sense to me, so make sure you use the executable in the Game directory not in the main directory.

To add a shortcut to the game on your taskbar simply open the game and right click the icon in your taskbar and choose "Pin to Taskbar" option, in Windows 11 I believe you can also pin it to the start menu as well.

Also, download to a folder that has write permissions as well, or you will not be able to extract it, this is not a problem for windows 10, only windows 11 as it has new and added security features enabled. And your AV software may mark it as being infected, if you DL from the members area I can assure it is completely safe.

I did some research when it happened to me, and it is caused by a file with the same name as a generic virus, but it is not infected, it is a false positive.

Hope this shed some light on this. :D
