One of the selling points of 3dxchat to me was the fact that as a paying member, I automatically had access to all the same content as everybody else. Back in my IMVU days (it may be different now), I felt broke trying have the poses I wanted, and buying clothes, furniture, etc from friends I met along the way. I still splurge on gifts when the right person and fantasy finds me, but I do like this current currency model! However, the ability for gold transfer so my lover can gift me.. or gift for themselves a fantasy treat, I would support!

We all have our personal reasons to be here and in game. Each one of us is different, with different viewpoints and needs. Much like other social media platforms though, the mask of the avatar lends itself to not being held in account for ones actions. I wish you all peace and hope you find what fulfills your needs and fantasies here. If they don't match another's (which is what humanity is!), agree to disagree. Just a tad of humility and respect goes a long way towards a better world for all of us! It is funny though. I came to this place looking for one thing, or so I thought, and it has turned into something else quite unexpected! Now to learn the art of moderation. You all are too damn addicting!

I typically don't view profiles of friends already in my list, so I can't say I ever saw the "You can't view this profile". But now I am curious. She definitely appears in game to me now, and does not disappear. And I could view her profile. In this case did I move from ignored list to unfriend list? Can you undo an unfriend? I have yet to need any of these features, and do hope to never have to. Might as well be prepared, though. Oh, and in the case she peruses the board and sees this. I wish you fun and happiness! Enjoy the game!!

Since I am fairly new to game, my friend list is small. I was in a room one day, and someone mentioned a friend's name in the local chat window. I couldn't see her in room, however. I checked my list and this friend showed offline, and whom I had not seen online for quite some time. A little later on, she no longer showed in my friend list. Yesterday, I saw her at one of the local bars. So my question is: Was I placed on her ignore list so I no longer could see her online and her avi in game? Later did she unfriend me, allowing me to see her in game again? That was my hunch, and since it would have been her decision to do so, I didn't approach her for an explanation. It is her world to choose who to be friends with. Luckily I have no ego to get bruised. Is my understanding of these features correct?

I agree wholeheartedly, Susan. This game offers the fantasies and community I was looking for. Even with some of its flaws, I love it because it is NOT like IMVU or SL.
