I am sure she has her reasons. I am not friends with her or anything but I never said anyone had to make positive or constructive answers. She’s allowed to be unhappy if that’s what she’s in to. I try to tune out as much of it as I can.

Really, is that how you truly see it working, that somehow it will magically make it so people only post sensibly.
My opinion is the ones that will be more willing to pay for it are the trolls who need to feed their egos.
Like haven't at least some of them already shown they are willing to pay more to do so by having multiple accounts.
I think the ones that will be more likely to stop posting are the ones that look to put innocent chat in there.
And my opinion, taken from the years of having been involved in these forums, is that no matter how much money the devs get from us, it makes no difference in the amount of work they do for us.

 Maybe I have bad timing, but on the occasions I do look at WC I often see people asking for help that are met with dismissive comments or an outright attack. Being WC that everyone sees, I wonder how many newbies think, I’m not asking any questions after reading other responses.
 
 Excessive spam is bad, but I don’t think spam is your biggest problem with WC, just saying.

Sorry but the more I think about this charge on posting in WC I can't help but think how rediculous this place is getting.
Firstly I agree with those people that have said it will kill world chat, at least for most, serously, how many people do you think will post in WC if we have to pay to do so.
World chat use to be fun, people use to go in there creating conversations that were funny and lots of people use to join in on those conversations.
Then the trolls took over using it to feed thier egos and it became a place that most people now avoid.
And yes the spammers then came along after rooms became popular for events.
So I agree, there are big problems with world chat.
But this is most definitely not the answer.
 
If you do not want advertising in WC it is simple.
Ad a rule to the TOS saying no advertising in WC.
Yes some may still try to place ads in there but they will be reported.
Advertising will soon stop all together.
 
To do that though you will need to then introduce something that will allow people holding events to advertise those events.
Ad an events tab, one that is attached to a well worked out event scheduler where people can place decent advertisements for their events and the rest of us can then easily go see what is on, coming up and what is going to be in these events.
You could even have it so when an event is about to start it has a promotion appear automatically in WC, followed by another when it actually starts.
 
If you want to do something about all the drama that keeps happening in WC.
STOP BACKING THE TROLLS WITH THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE.

STOP LOOKING FOR EASY TO IMPLEMENT SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS AND START GIVING US WELL WORKED OUT SOLUTIONS THAT WILL ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM WITHOUT CREATING OTHER PROBLEMS.

How about adding a slap response.
(example: someone you don't know kisses or hugs you out of nowhere, instead of a decline hug/kiss prompt as I've seen some request, add a "slap this fool" prompt response ).  

If you can opt out of being searchable yes fine

I never read the world chat. I consider it as some wasteland filled with trolls and other unpleasant creatures.
I don't mind people having their chat there, even if it doesn't interest me. I simply stick to local.
 
If you are going to work on the chat channels i would really prefer to see the roleplay channel back with talk only hearable in a ~5meter radius or something like that. It would be much more interesting for roleplay room.

I think limiting how many messages you can send per some time would be better than charging for messages in there.

I like Dobby better, able to connect with his quirks. Impetuous, mischievous, unfiltered and sometimes misguided but always with a big, true heart n good intentions… though some went astray. Selfless… putting others first. Happy in nature, easy to like. Plus green eyes like mine.
 
For Gollum… my sympathy, empathy. Though can’t relate to his darkside… can to his addiction.

How about this game does what it does properly before we try get it to do something else?
 
We have a “Chat”, we’re halfway at the “X” in my opinion and working on increasing the “3D” How about concentrating on what it’s supposed to be before we start bolting on crap and gimmicks.
 
By Chat I mean the basic ability to communicate, block, etc in game in different ways. I think we have that.
By X I mean poses and sex related things, still sorely lacking in variety in so many ways.
By 3D I mean the world we are in in game. World editor was a great step, we need more for our individuality though. Clothes, more avatar customisations etc..

I’d always assumed it was just ego issues with the guys tbh, too much to prove with another guy there sort of thing. Glad to see not everyone is like that.
