I only look in these forums every now and then now but the same old thing always seems to be here, lack of updates and attention to the game. It has been like that for years, wasn't always like it as the 1st few years it was completely the opposite.
Improving the look of avatars isn't just higher res textures but also higher count meshes and when you do that it gets much more demanding on computers, so yes people with lower end computers can suffer. But why should people who have spent the money on high end computers have to suffer for those that have not. Especially when it can be done to cater for all.
I suggested this a long time ago but nothing ever came from it. They can fairly easily cater for all where people with high end computers can get the better looking avatars and others can still play the game the way it is. They can also do things to improve it for all.
1) They can add settings for avatar quality just like they do now for environment settings, low medium and high. So people can set their games to match the power of their computers. This will make it so people who have high end computers get the benefit from them.
2) They can make it so when people are in private, like fucking in a private room, where there is usually only 2 of them. That the avatars are then in high detail. That is where people mostly want to be able to see high detail is it not? ie, High detail rooms which include high detail avatars. 
The strain on computers if they had high detail avatars comes when the numbers in a room are high. If they have very high detail avatars in 1 room then even as few as 6 people can put to much a stain on your system. But as I pointed out before we are not always in rooms with that amount of people and it is when we are not we want higher detail.
Doing both of my suggestions is not as complicated as people would think, the biggest part is supplying the high detail avatars which can be done fairly easily. The scripting behind ,aking it happen wouldn't be much either and they already have much of it in what is in the game already. ie environment settings.
 
I see often in these forums where the devs are doing things to try promote the game, to improve the numbers. Yet they always seem to not get the real issues. The game needs to improve and a really big part of that is improving the visuals. If they did what I suggested here then the numbers would improve, very much so I believe.

If that is true, it means the update is done, and some of you are creating new items, at least i assume it is done `cause why else would they use the manpower on new stuff before the promised update is out ? And then the question is, why not just release with what is already finished ?

@TashaTight and Natassia. We all know there are a lot of different types of transgenders and it is not possible to cater for all under one. But isn't that what is being done now, not only all transgenders but including the female sex as well, all under female.
There needs to be a third gender "Transgender" not just so they have their own but also so the female sex has their own. As far as the transgenders go what they get under their gender would remain exactly what is there now, same menus, same everything. But it would be the female that would change, our menu would not include poses we don't need or use. It would have a strap on that can be used in poses that lesbians use but no pop up cock that can be so annoying. 
So what is actually needed is the present female gender to be changed to Transgender and left completely how it is and a new female gender to be added without the popup cock and poses they involve.
 
 

I have only read parts of this thread relating to what is coming up with the new update, mainly around being able to give xgold to others.
One thing that seems to have not been mentioned is how this is going to effect how people will go about boosting room numbers. People with cash to burn will pretty much find ways to pay people to attend. They will offer competitions, pay dancers, offer payment for completing tasks just to name a few and people will go there to make xgold. 
The place will change completely where people with the most xgold to burn will be the ones getting numbers in their rooms. 
Then you will get people buying and selling xgold. 
 

Being able to turn off your online status was something I use to push for. It is common to have people on your friends list that you want to keep as friends but don't want to have to see every time you go in the game.  Some people get very clingy in 3DX and it can produce problems. You should be able to go in the game and spend time with people that you want to at that time without it being made public you are online. If I remember correctly when you open a room you can set it to public or private. Why not have it so if you have a room set to private, or are in someone elses room that is set to private, you can then have the option to set your online status to show offline. There are a lot of reasons and times where people do not want to be disturbed with pms, especially in a sex game.

Okay, I have to admit I did not read all the long-winded posts about XGold, but I can say this...
XGold has no value now, but it could if worked on the how-to, just saying.

It will never happen, people would start offering real money for gold and then sell it on the net at a cheaper price than 3DX sells it for.
 

OMG you are still failing to see my points, so I will ask it in question form. If 3DXChat adds xgold transfer in the game without any restrictions.
* What will stop people from selling the xgold they have at a cheaper rate than 3DXChat sells it for?
* What will stop people from buying it from others at say $50 per 100k xgold and then selling it for $70 per 100k xgold? 
If you think all 3DXChat has to do is lower their price then how far would they be prepared to go, if they lower it to $70 per 100k because that is what others are selling it for then the others would just start buying for $40 and selling for $60 and it would keep going down until it is not only not worth the effort for the others but also not worth the effort for 3DXChat.
Yes the buying and selling will be done outside of the game and the delivery of the xgold will be done inside the game, but this kind of market has happened in many other games before successfully. 
You are looking at 3DXChat staying the way it is now, not much use for xgold. But if it is made so real money can made from it the game will change very quickly where xgold will be used for lots of things that the players set up themselves. Players that would look to setup as buyer/sellers would start things off themselves, making it so others follow in what they do to be able to get numbers into their rooms and such, using xgold to do it in things like prises and payment for services. If builders are able to sell their xgold to someone, even at half the price it sells for from 3DX, at least some would start creating rooms and things for rooms and selling them for xgold, then selling the xgold to the buyers, who then sell it to others at a higher price, but still cheaper than 3DX sells it for.
As I have said before if you think people will not start buying and selling xgold for real money if it is made so easy to transfer it, you are dreaming.

The way things are now if someone wants to buy 100k xgold the only place they can is from 3DX at just under $90.
If they add no limit xgold transfer I could sell mine for $50 as I said before and pay $10 for a months sub, go in the game and transfer my 100k to the buyer. I make $40 profit, the buyer saves $40 and 3DX loses a $90 sale. Sorry, but I didn't think I would have to explain that in such detail to show how 3DX could lose revenue. I thought that would be obvious.
There are lots of people like me, no longer play but have loads of xgold still in their account. At least hundreds of people but more likely into the thousands. I would imagine there would be quite a few look to make a quick buck and do what I have just said. As for copping a ban, who cares, we no longer play anyway. Plus do you really think 3DX, who has trouble moderating even the simple things could really do anything to stop it. Other than place restrictions on what can be transferred as we have been suggesting.
There are lots of things that have been put to a vote and show that everybody is in favour of having them, doesn't mean they will ever be added as history has shown.
As I said in some of my previous posts, I am not against xgold transfers, I use to try push for it in here. There are plenty of good things it can add to the game. But it is one of those things where there is positives and negatives to adding it. If it was done where 3DX just made it so people could transfer any amount they wanted to whoever they wanted the negatives could outway the positives, especially if 3DX does not also add a buy back system of their own.

Ok, let's say 3DX adds currency transfer with no restrictions, you can transfer as much as you want to anyone you want. I who yes has not played for quite a while but still has something like 100k xgold can offer my 100k for say half the price that 3DX sells it for, around $50, and when I find a buyer go back in and sell it. Hell I could even sell it on ebay. And that is just me, there are lots could do the same. How much would 3DX lose out on then. Then there are people who have made huge amounts of real money from other games selling the in game currency for real money, do you think they won't do the same in 3DX. So before you go accusing someone of being out of touch, which is an insult and being rude, do a little bit of thinking and get in touch yourself.

Your reply still did not give any example of where the discrimination you are talking about occurs, and then after that you have the gall to tell me you are teaching me. I think you need to teach yourself what discrimination actually means. Asking people to apply their real life gender to some sort of form or have some sort of gender verification is not discrimination against any gender. As long as it isn't aimed at one particular gender. If they were to say something like all transgenders must complete the form and have it so other genders did not, that would be discrimination, but that is not is being asked here is it. Or maybe you think it is discrimination to the people who wish to hide what gender they are, sorry but that is not discrimination either. Again people who do not wish to hide it are also being asked to do the same which makes it not even discrimination to them.
Now that is the way I see things so if there is somewhere where actual discrimination is occurring please do educate me.

Just because it says sex game does not mean it is a porn game, you can play porn in it if that is what you desire but it is far from being a game just meant for porn. There is sex in porn yes, but sex itself does not mean porn. When it comes to what sex represents there is far more sex in the world that does not involve porn than there is porn related sex. So classing it as a porn game just because it is called a sex game is far from correct. 
The game caters for lots of things around sex, it allows people to date, and if you disagree with that then why does it have places where you can go to dance and other things that only have to do with socialising and the lead up to sex. The game even has allowed for relationships in things like marriages and such. Plus it also says in the game description "community and virtual world" So it is most definitely not meant to be just a porn game alone.
A lot of men who play as females treat it as a porn game, far to many in fact as I found there to be to many expecting me to perform like a porn queen when it came to sex. They get to expect it because of the amount of men playing as females will give them that, so that is what they come to expect. That is a large part of the reason there is so few actual women in the game.
Looking through this thread, as usual when a thread is created on the subject, many of you want to insist it that so many men playing as females is not a problem. It creates so many problems I find it hard to believe that people can think that way. It creates problems for men who want to play as men and find a female in the game where they can even have some sort certainty that the person behind the keyboard is actually a female. I don't think I would be top far wrong in saying that would be by far the biggest potential market for a sex game. It creates problems for women both heterosexual and lesbian. Heterosexual women have to put up with a constant doubt over their heads that they are actually a women in real life, if you upset someone or even someone gets jealous of you then rumours get spread that you are a male in real life. For lesbians they have the same problem as the men in that they have problems being able find a female that is actually a female. In fact most of the men playing as females seem to play as lesbians.
In the 4 years I played in the game I saw the amount of women, especially heterosexual women, decline. I saw the amount of men playing as women increase. So much so that I believe the devs decided that men playing as women was their main market and started mainly catering for them. Men playing as men, lesbians who are actually lesbians and heterosexual women are never listened to or looked after when it comes to additions added to the game. 

I find it hilarious how so many people who are obviously men playing as women and keeping it secret come in these threads on the subject trying to defend what they do.
 

It gets me whenever this subject comes up in these forums how so many people try to dismiss concerns by saying it is just a sex game, trying to make it sound ok for people who lie about their real life sex. 3DXChat, different to many other games is also a chat, you communicate with others more than most other Internet games. If in a chat website where it is just a chat site if someone was to lie about their gender it is not accepted, why should it be in sex chat game, and possibly even more so.
If it is just a game and ok to say you are a different gender in real life that you really are, then why is it that when someone gets caught doing so very much the majority of people in the game dump them. I saw that happen many times in the time I was in the game.
It doesn't matter if it is in a game, be a sex game or not, if people lie to others that is not a part of the game, it is not telling the truth about something that many people consider important. All of the many that I saw people caught out had lied to everyone. Do you really consider that should be accepted as part of how the game should be.
In my opinion the majority of people who played the game would very much prefer honest answers to the question, but for some reason the game has been forced to cater for the minority who believe they should be able to lie about it. What I witnessed over the time I played is that minority become the majority as many left because of it and the game has built a bad reputation with it.
3DXChat has become known to cater for men who want to not only play as women but also pretend to actually be a women, so that has become the majority of the player base and is what the devs have for some time now been catering for.

Gizmo needs to look at what is available at trubones now, I know he has used stuff from there before. 4 of the best dances come from there.
In the last vid I think that some of the animations could be converted to work as position changes from sex poses to other sex poses already in 3DXChat. 

All that is needed is a kick from room button, which is what Gizmo said twice now he would add.
If the owner then wants to make sure that player cannot get back in the room the owner can place the offender on iggy.
Simple as that, and very easy to add as the coding is already mostly done and in the game already. A simple button that the owner has that will send the offender to their own room, just like when a player clicks on their room in the UI to go to their own room. When an owner clicks on another player in their room there just needs to be a boot button in there to call that same script to send that player to their own room.
One thing that often happens in these forums is when something is requested and starts off simple, people start adding to it and make it complicated which could be the reason many things get dropped.
 

Obviously you have never created any poses, because they are relatively easy. I have created dance poses, used motion capture to do that as it is much easier and then did the tweaking to have them look right. I have also had a go at creating some basic sex poses which are much easier and don't need to be done using motion capture. There have been people create sex poses and post them in these forums, like Goose who made something like 10 and stated they only took about 20 minutes each. Yes they will have to had some more work to have them 100% correct but nothing hard about it or even very time consuming. So before you go preaching to people in here at least do some home work so you can know what you are talking about.
