Well, to me it is a game.

However, the first option is a bit too sarcastic to me. In every online game you deal with real people that can get hurt.

3dxchat is a game and it is obvious. Otherwise, we would only be on this forum instead of creating avatars, there would be a chatbox and it would have been the same. Now because it is a game doesn't mean you can't create friendships or more, but let's face it. We are playing when we log. We sometimes answer things we would not in real life. We dance the way we don't know how in real life. (Well, my character does not really dance that much but...)

So, to summarise, i pick the third option. But as long as the first one is valid, then it is a game. That's what games are. Maybe not all of them, alright. But it's not because you can't kill ennemies that 3dxchat isn't one.

Even if the Quiet Temple is very sexually oriented, i'm completely open with non-sexual RP.

You can have your own conception of things, but you are warned. People have theirs.

In a community sometimes, you have to give yourself some rules to make it work out with the others.

Well, they expect your avatar to translate your reactions and choices.

Sometimes, when you roleplay, you create a character's own personality that makes choices for himself. If you roleplay, you better inform the others. Trust me...

Well simply because a lot of people might think that this is the "real" you and could feel betrayed or something like that if you don't warn them that you are roleplaying.

Even if i'm not willing to use the same words as you Robo, i agree with your opinion.

To me, the game is taking the way to change to mimic some dating website. Only one avatar and don't be caught lying about yourself.

I came here to enjoy the possibilities and they are becoming more and more restrained.

When ignore is not enough, moderators should get on the case. Not wallet bondage.

Saturday 28 at 10pm i will host the Quiet Temple's roleplay contest.
Anyone can participate ​​!
 
How does it works ?​

Simple. You send me a MP on the forum with the name(s) of your partner(s).

The event will last 3 hours at most and there every particpant will be able to present a show with his/her/their partner(s). People watching will give you a note out of 10 at the end of your perfomance and i will write down your average note.

The only rules are :

- Time limit for each group (depending of the number of groups)

- Descriptive actions in local for everyone to see. In character roleplay is appreciated but not needed.

- No scat. (Sorry i can't stand it. Not judging, it's simply that i'm the host, and i need to be able to follow everything.)

The winners will recieve an official Quiet Temple gift and their names will be writted down here.

Please take note that there is no other specific limit. You can bring your husband, pet, slave, master, handcuffs...

PS : The Temple does not open tonight, but i will be available on the forums to answer your questions !

As said above, and as a roleplayer : I don't care about 3rd slot. Only the 2nd.

I wouldn't feel annoyed if i had only two slots.

question you need to ask at what price point will people stop bothering buying new slots and just buy second account?

I think paid character slots only encourage people to get multiple accounts which again create more problems for community and only hurt RPs and other innocent people.

We might agree that charging the alt creation is not a serious solution.

I don't mind getting only a 2nd free ava and not a 3rd one.

But right now, it is way too expensive and i can't use the possibility to create alts for roleplay or any purpose.

I think this is too bad.

I understand that some people don't care about it and are pretty happy because they think there will be less drama. I heard (or read) that it only annoys roleplayers that alts are not free.

Well... perhaps. But i wonder how this big hunting the bullies thing will end up.

People wanted to restrain the possibilities, well. Now we got the possibilities restrained and the problem is still not resolved. I can predict that roleplayers won't be the only one complaining at the very end of this.

Why not having the 2 options and let us manage ?

Roleplayers don't mind the few poses and game content, because we write down whatever we want to create.

But now the alt slots are so damn expensive ! I can't afford to spend more money on the game. This is not a threat, maybe the devs got issues too and of course they can't manage to satisfy everyone at each single update... But still. It's becoming tougher these days.

I don't even have enough money for one character, right now. I'll have to use Elenn all the time.

Oh my. Roleplay is taking a shot with this patch.

Creating new characters is not only with a cost, it's actually very expensive...

The Quiet Temple is now working differently.

We set up a new system with different possibilities for our guests.

We are still looking for more employees if you are looking for a job the weekend. We are still open at the same hours than before. Friday and saturday at 10pm (gtm+1).

I'm really sorry but i won't be able to make it for the event.

I have been struggling all week to manage avoiding it but it appears i can't open the Quiet Temple this weekend for both friday and saturday.

The halloween event is reported to the next friday, the 6th.

I apologize to everyone who planned to come and especially my staff.
