Seeing as how I remember why this was posted let me clue you in. It had nothing to do with censorship or thin skin. However, there was once a poster who was posting things in relation to incest involving a child. You had no way of knowing until you clicked on it.This caused multiple reports and there were several posts. Child pornography is illegal. This was off of some other rather offensive posts. So, that being said, should the sick and demented be allowed to post their pedophilia on the forum? Seeing as how the post was so old, maybe ask questions first. Your approach is offensive. Why come at her in an offensive and condescending manner?

You don't have the right to not be offended, and the very fact that you seem to think you deserve that right is - to me - incredibly offensive in and of itself.
 
Are you saying that she doesn't have the right to be offended? Also, she was a moderator of this forum which had moderators for a reason. So she did have a right to moderate which meant removing offensive posts. You can say what you want, fine. However, this is a forum with its own rules that must be followed. I don't know if you are an alt with a new forum account nor do I care. However, if you have been around, I think you should know what she meant. As Achilles mentioned it was food for thought, her opinion which  she has a right to.

I think you all cause too much drama for a sex-date game. If you`re all professional DJs, go to clubs and measure your skill there, what you forgot in a casual social fuck game.
Here not many people care if you`re a pro or not. People like to have friends, have fun and spend their free time with good mood. That`s why people create groups of interest, play their music and entertain people.
Events coming from assembly line? Ok, let`s all sit weekly in Fresco or SinClub and listen 20 songs looped forever every day. It is very entertaining, isn`t it?
People stick together with friends and spend good time together, listening good music of different genres (yes that`s why there are so many events - most of them are of different genre).
No one really cares if there a real certificated DJ playing, or just a person with a good taste of music. People come to friends and have fun.
That`s why we always have 40-50+ people having a good time together, and not bitching about absolutely idiotic stuff, totally not for a sex game.
 
We make content - people come and have fun. And sorry, no one will listen random whines on forums. For example let`s take Eugene - he is also a professional DJ, but have you ever heard any bad word from him?
Just think about how you spend your time here. Do you want to be a drama maker, or come and have fun in your free time?

Thank you for taking the time to post a well thought out post, and there are points that I agree on, mainly to do with getting music legally.
 
To be honest. Who cares what a DJ is and what a DJ isn't? Personally I don't think a DJ has to mix, has to beat match, has to make one seamless song to be labelled a DJ. At its most basic level, playing a playlist of songs with crossfade is mixing. Part of the skill of being a DJ is understanding the music. Telling a story. Making each song flow together. This is a skill in itself and at the end of the day, we are here to entertain. If people enjoy it, people will stay, it is really as simple as that.
 
I agree with the whole legality thing, although I think that is a given. Anyone who is playing music should pay the artists fairly. Whether you download them from somewhere like Amazon MP3 or stream using something like Apple Music is a separate issue entirely, but either way the artist is getting paid. If the artist is not getting paid enough from streaming, that is the problem for the artist, label and Apple or Spotify, the user is paying for the music legally.
 
Onto event overload. As my event was jumped on by yourself 4 days ago then I do feel like this is partly aimed at myself. Not only that, I was accused of being a copycat and the topic was completely ruined by childish behaviour from certain members of the community. Members who I have always respected. See for yourself:

People will have different opinions on how a room should be or whether they want to set up a group that runs regular parties for people to hangout at. I have been involved in groups like Temple Of Lust and I was told by many people that Friday night at Temple of Lust was a highlight of their week. You take heat from other event organisers who claim you are trying to take over 3DX or you are running an assembly-line. The fact is that the people who criticise never step foot in these parties, and look just look from the outside. I do this for fun, not to take over 3DX, not to be the most popular person, I have better things to do with my time. People are here to have fun, to escape real life and opening your room playing music that people love and making people laugh, making people smile... isn't that what it is all about?
 
I can understand the frustrations. Personally, I got bored of all the mainstream rock and EDM rooms, but rather than complain about it, I went and created my own room. A room that has played blues, jazz, folk, country, funk, electro-swing, reggae, indie, hip-hop, trap, deep house... I don't claim to be an expert in all of these music genres. I have had DJs guest for me, some of whom have never DJed before. SweetHoney who finally got to play some of her country music. BreannaX who has only been in the game for a couple of months, someone who I helped get setup with a stream, who is now DJing to an audience. Also I wasn't really an expert in funk music, but because of my passion in all types of music I went away and I listened to lots of funk, until I felt like I had a good selection of songs that worked well together.
 
Anyone who knows me well, anyone who has been to my room, anyone who has listened to my music knows how diverse my music is, how passionate I am about music. There are people out there whose sole purpose is to break attendance records. That is not my main goal, although I think it is only human that if you do attract a lot of people then it does feel good, especially when you are not playing mainstream music and people are telling you that this is the best night of music they have heard. If no one was there to listen then I wouldn't bother opening my room and I would just listen on my own.
 
So while we can agree and disagree on the technicalities of what is and what isn't a DJ. I do take issue when I feel I have been unfairly categorised as an "assembly-line event organiser". This is a diary and I am not looking to hijack it. However, it is a public forum and you have to be willing to accept both positive and negative replies, just like I have, which is fine, I am perfectly open to constructive criticism.

It's not "just a word". Yes, I understand 3dx is not real. If you want to RP rape, great... go RP it, but keep it out of the public at least. I completely understand people wanting to RP a rape scenario. It's mysterious and taboo. The problem is... I can assure you with 500% certainty that had you ever been raped you would never be curious about it ever again.
 
Here's an example for you slower types who may not "get" it...
If you saw a sign that said "Dead Mom's are awesome!" It probably wouldn't bother most people. But if your mother had passed away, i think you would see it a little differently.
