Dande Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 more then a half of that list is rap not hip - hop
Camden Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 No Luda???? BustaJayzNasHaha my DJ friend tagged me in this. So I shared it. Yeah there were a few emcees left off and it is still hard to narrow down.
Malkevas Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 more then a half of that list is rap not hip - hop Hey Dande Rap ( Rapping ) is actually an art form that is part of the Hip-Hop culture. You add to that, DJing, MCing, Graffiti Artists, Breaking, Beatbox, Sampling and you get the end result, the " Hip Hop " culture as a whole. So technically, Rappers are all Hip-Hop artists but not all Rappers are good at MCing but that's another story hehe. Eugene 1

As whole orgin story it is right, but as for music it was quite a long time ago that RAP and Hip - Hop were devided as diferent genres of music, and they are very diferent Abbey 1

Next time we see each other in game, let's hangout and we'll talk about that whole Rap/Hip-Hop business Dande 1
Abbey Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Thank you DJGene for a fun event & the music (。◕‿◕。) & ps I agree with Dande lol
Eugene Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 Let me explane:) Rap its words:) Hip Hop its music and culture:) Nymphpott 1
Camden Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 The divide continues. Some consider Hip Hop a watered down version of rap. Why? Because it has samples of different music. As for Hip Hop today, a lot of it seems like pop, so it gives credence to that argument. "Rap is something you do. Hip Hop is something you live." KRS1 It seems to me that rap was not so commercial, hip hop has fused with rap and has become an entirely different culture. Within that culture you have rap artist and hip hop artist. You just have to look beneath the surface. So I leave you with: You decide: Eugene 1
