  1. Well let's step aside a sec. A DDOS can be of different strategies. One is to simply sent connection requests from millions of (usually infected, bots) machines, one other is to try pseudo-legitimate connections. The latter being more harmful. A counter measure for the former could be to force a very small delay between connection requests. That can't work long though - the server would not suffer but legitimate users wouldn't reach it. Proxifying the connection server has already been done. And continuously greylisting IP's detected as offending will transfer the burden to the DDOS protector. Not considering myself dry yet, but right now I see no easy way out.
  2. Well, a fairly strange bug strikes me. With the 64 bits version, if I focus out to another window and back in, the 3DXChat window looses the keyboard, and most mouse movements (only the single left click remains active). Anything would explain that ? I admit I'm on a below statistics user representation, but I'm keen on knowing where to watch, in case I could fix it :-) That was not the case with the 32 bits version.
  3. Leeloo, Computers as old as 10 years are 64 bits. The Core2 Duo was already 64 bits and its production ended in 2011. As for OSes, the matter is different. But I can't be fair on that point, I'm no windows user :-) There's a path to 64 bits on those machines that wouldn't cost a penny. I'd be happy to share. Even in French ;-) Emma
  4. I wish SexGameDevils would consider opening an API, bounded and controlled, so we could "donate" features themselves...
  5. I have Wine 3.20 running 3DXChat, and in the application's wine configuration, you should have a tab named "Staging". In which the "Enable CSMT" radiobutton should appear.
  6. Hi, I'll try to have a look tonight. I can at least help you on a few things. Yes, Enable CSMT is the key : it enables the 3D rendering to be asynchronous. Hence a huge perf boost. On my side, I still have an issue : when playing the game may lag, but neither the 3D card nor the CPU are under high load.
  7. Well connectipon's not possible without bitdefender either, so it can't be the only issue !
  8. There are many hypotheses under which the radio silence can have a rational explanation. Among those, all the most frightening ones. As everyone, I hope to be able to really be angry against Gizmo soon, as it would mean he's in perfect health and safe. However, the lack of new funtions lately have been the perfect ground to grow rumours and anger.
  9. Upskirt sex ? And BTW there's no need for the girl to get naked when she gets in a BJ... Oh, and an additional one... A third button for cold requests... "Say no and slap head" :-)
  10. To be entirely accurate, the processor and the OS are in the matter. 32-bits Intel processor have a mode, called PAE, that enables them to address 64Gb of RAM. Some OSes can use that mode, some others (including Windows) can't.
  11. Checked. It is no DNS issue. Therefore it is likely a route issue. Harder to debug... Needs to have all IP's the connection process aims at reaching.
  12. Well directly or not. Either the route is not going the right way, or the DNS does not resolve a name. The error message does not tell. A tcpdump capture could. If it is the latter, then just changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and not using your ISP's should do.
  13. Keeps saying it can't connect to the server. Is the auth server down ?
  14. Tried yesterday, again this morning, I'm seeing the same as Alexis :-(
