Whatever is used it needs to be fair for everyone. I didn’t think it was (past tense as I’m an ex subscriber well on his way through the 3DX AA twelve steps )

I don’t detract from any of the groups who indeed put a lot of hard work and passion into what they do. It can and has on occasion taken some of the fun away from the game but that’s just my, an ex subscriber’s opinion.

 It feels a little daunting for anyone wanting to set up as a host though, particularly independently of the groups. If you like a small bar feel then great! It just felt like you had to compete a heck of a lot. 
 

Filtering would be awesome, friends rooms and favourite rooms listings too. 
 

Will it happen? Who knows.

The 3DX clique group culture described perfectly. 

I’m relieved it’s not just me who could see it. Hopefully it won’t deter you from enjoying the game. In my experience the smaller, lesser populated rooms were better for conversation ;). 
 

To keep this on topic, yup, a good idea to have a time for a room to have the top slot and, or, a limit to how often you can hit the button would be ideal. 
 

Why not have a system based on a competition to have  lesser known rooms showcased. Something like a random draw so the winning room could be prominent for a week, even just a day.

Not my concern as an ex player/host/DJ but I still like to think there’s hope for that circus, I won’t hold my breath.

That was also my Achilles heel. 

Nothing wrong with challenging the status quo in my opinion, particularly in that circus.
 

There’s a lot of flying high and some get lost. It’s easy to acquire fame and stature in game and that’s when the shit bubbles up from the sewer. Apparently I was “famous” but never wanted it or took it seriously. I did however challenge when I thought something was wrong and got shown the door. Been there done it from both perspectives, been humbled and learned. A few people in 3DX need to be reminded of where the ground is and they have to walk on it like everyone else. 
 

Keep on walking, smiling and doing what you do. I’m not what you’d call a fanboy but I appreciate what you stand for.

After about 3 years of being away from here entirely and making a lot of changes in my own life, I was able to return here and play in anonymity for the most part. Or at the very least I am not popular. LOL. And now I avoid anything that involves being in groups, hosting parties etc because dealing with the people that go along with such activities is not worth the headaches . Life is too important to spend what little free time I have these days (I used to have a lot) dealing with some of the problematic people that play here. It is always the same people involved in conflict. I mostly just brush of what they say and do now and laugh at them. Not sure if that helps at all, but that's what I did.

That moment of clarity when you realise you’re paying for it. Now I know what St. Paul felt on his way to Damascus. 3DX clean for a while now and so much better for it. For an adult game it’s certainly juvenile in mentality.  I thought I left playground politics behind in junior school. 
 

Anyone wants to see exactly what’s bad about 3DX? Look no further.
