SyIph
i tried using night and making a full cube to make things dark... then found i needed it to be of bronze...so i tried making a giant bronze place and my real place inside... wich makes the place provide light again... is it possible to fix this issue so walls do act as walls in the future (still this is an amazing update thank you for it) Alliehotass, Leeloo and Riela
Alliehotass
Yips hope they fix this, the whole lighting and reflection issue of this update needs to be fixed coz eet looks bad with reflections suddenly popping in when ya move cam 2 secs after, night is way too light and our skin tones in most places especially the World Editor look flat and like 1.0. Secondly the Graphics are broke and I'm getting anomalies now which make eet unplayable. SyIph, Maelstrom and Leeloo

Wendy
I'm not sure exactly what they did, but I think the devs implemented a new (or higher intensity) ambient lighting that is causing the issue of rooms being washed out and not dark enough. SyIph
This is a conspiracy against vampires ^,..,^not exactly... you can do it...just gotta make everything bronze as material or rust...but its so ugly..
Wendy
not exactly... you can do it...just gotta make everything bronze as material or rust...but its so ugly.. Yeah, you can sorta make the room colors and materials darker to regain that old night time feeling, but only to an extent. Changing walls and floors won't affect the furniture that comes with 3dx so as you go darker, the old objects will start to look out of place, displaying the ambient light rather than the artificial lighting environment that you're trying to create with the materials (such as the metal material). So you would have to make your own furniture using dark shadowy colors too. It's overwhelming. I'm hoping they'll just fix the issue but it may have been intentional. So I guess we'll wait and see. Izu.
Yap, the lighting went all wonky- night time doesn't effect anything now. Creating a setting or mood for like a cave or lovely lighting from just the different glowing materials can't be done at all. In regular rooms the lighting is still fine, but in my room and other created rooms, night time doesn't change the lighting of any of the props or the characters. Oh and disable water at all would also be nice. Some rooms don't need it and it just waste performance. Izu.
