For the new ones that feel let down and wonder why there are many that wait for the game. When I joined weeks before 2016, the game was two private rooms and you could move furniture around the inside of the rooms. Some people used a Cheat Engine to lift things up and then two amazing people started two dlls to allow people to build outside the room. Since then this game has been getting upgraded to eventually include a world builder. Not many game have upgraded as much as this one has. Although it says version 2.7, it has gotten upgraded more than that. About a year ago I put a request for Afro, respect the fro, now I am asking for capes, tails and wings. Because the developers listen and get around to it, in time. As for this attack when it is over We all go have fun, for now in my opinion. The game is worth the wait, as for the people, if you guys are friends there are other games and ways to communicate. So send a message to a friend.

Can we please stop this very old drama? Jade all who wish to be part of a no drama zone only see the drama created here so how could it possibly be no drama there?

BAHAHAHAHAHA.
Seems like its Day 2 now and tthey are still not able to bust that nut. Uh oh.
I also feel sorry for all the people that play 3DXChat from work. Its really touching to see you having to focus on getting actual work done now.

yeah if 'Captain America' read all of the posts instead of being eager to find something to rebuke he'd have seen most all of the posts have been optomistic and positive

The fact is there's nothing for us to do but wait. Might as well keep a positive attitude as we do: complaints solve nothing and armchair quarterbacking isn't going to make anything come back faster.

I'm going to remain optimistic but the point remains.. they've had ample opportunity to recover from a ddos attack.. I've had My radio station attacked via ddos.. I know first hand that there's only 5 steps to required to get the server back up and running and in My case that took about 2 and half hours.. the bulk of it being uploading changes and patch before restarting.. granted My client/consumer handshake is a lot more straight forward than a third party client but even larger MMOs only need 6 hours tops so yeah.. I choose to believer they are doing things to prevent further attacks like creating filter data profiles for the initial contact/connect or maybe even updating server capacity.. THAT would take a day or more to update

anyway an error 522 error is easy to fix and no way should it take almost 15 hours to recover from that was My point.. there's more to this than ddos/.. perhaps they're increasing server capacity or buffing up they're infrastructure to prevent further attacks. but if their aim is to have us believe all it is is ddos is a bit patronizing after 15 hours

DDoS attacks cannot steal website visitors information. The sole purpose of a DDoS attack is to overload the website resources. You cant track DDos Attacks!

Thanks Agony, I am not an expert. I heard from others that a DDos Attack can last up to 24 hours.

No one knew what the last attack was....it was a complete circus here......Someone ran non-stop poop pictures for 4 straight days here....THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION FROM THE DEVS........People were calling the BBB......almost everyone thought they went out of business........This time around it is the complete opposite and is being handled far more professionally.....so just relax

cloudflare can assist with support but cloudflare cant prevent ddos thats something only on site mitigation and cloud based server mitigation can provide but all those do is provide the proper infrastructure FOR you.. IE: the lazy mans way of avoiding it.. you can filter the handshake procedure to block specific types of data profiles yourself and put adequate levels of security in at the client/consumer level that WILL prevent DDOS.. all by yourself with only a little expense and precisely zero tech saavy required

actually you can but only if the person doing it is extremely retarded or otherwise doesnt want to be anonymous.. cyberterrorists for instance, intentionally make it easy to trace them because they actually want the credit for it

cloudflare was addressing the issue with forum earlier when forum went down. So they are involved at some level.

If only it were that simple... but alas it's not.. 3dx has ample security measures, but that only protects data.. a ddos attack is something entirely different. It attacks at the connection level.. prevents people from being able to contact and communicate with the log in client.. that something that cloudflare can't adequately address.. thin of it a 500 people all trying to get in through your front door at once... nooone can get in.
@ Tracer.. no.. local law enforcement (police) cant do anything to adequately address cyber attacks for a LOT of reasons... the biggest reason(s) being one of jurisdiction.. lets say the attack wasn't anonymous (and they always are btw) the person sourcing the attack is always at a different location than the primary point of transmission so there's no way tio accurately identify their real location
on another perhaps more relevant note.. I really dont think a ddos is truly the culprit unless it's a sustained attack (which would ultimately make it traceable, a risk most blackhats wont take.. smart ones anyway) It only takes 5 quick steps to undo a ddos attack then patch and update and restart servers.. most Ive ever seen that take in much larger platforms is 6 hours so unless they have a staff of precisely zero people on at any given moment, I call B.S. lol
