Some friend! I love how he seeks to blame his crazy outburst on you and make out like he doing us all a service. Normal rules would dictate he just laughed it off and said "she is with me" and left it at that.
 
I've never heard of a thirty day wonder before.

Yes there are rather a lot of events these days. Personal favourites are the ones organised by Biene - Abba night was really fun and inventive, Jazzy Lounge and some of the events orgsanised by Saya. 
 
I hope the sheer number of events now will drive the quality up as people seek to throw better events. So one would hope for more events/choice of a higher quality!
 
I have "dj'd" though I'm just a playlist player - hey it takes ages trying to ensure nothing is too obscure or to have some kind of "flow" and weeding out the songs I like, but fear nobody else will!
