My first impression is really good, graphics look better even on my low-end machines, and I want to sound positive, but . . .

    >>- Pose system: The pose system has been rewritten from scratch. Which makes new animations easier than before.

Am I the only one who thinks that having the player who offers the pose take the submissive position is backwards? Maybe this is not so much of a problem for MF poses. But in FF poses it drives me nuts. The player who offers doggy style should be the top dog in the pose, no?

Also, spatial orientation is not a problem when you are on a bed or on a couch, but would it be possible to add rotation to the poses when you are on the floor or on the ground?

    >>- New UI: All poses are sorted by category. This simplifies navigation and this is to prevent the selection of incorrect poses that may ruin the moment.

I think it would be nice to enable us to put the poses in the order we want in the UI. Half the problem with the old interface is that everything is out of order. And since the preferred order will vary from person to person, I think the best solution is to enable the user to put the list in their preferred order.

Also, the missionary position for FF is ANAL? REALLY? SERIOUSLY?
Please put it in Vaginal. You don't even have to remake the pose. Just put it in Vaginal.

I really like it, but there is still a lot of small improvements that would greatly enhance playability.

I totally agree. If they seem new based on their profile and if I can maybe figure out what language they speak, I use Google to welcome them, to define colding, and to tell them I think it's rude. If they do it again they get iggied.
I know that isn't the point of your post; please forgive my tangent.

Last night I had to ignore somebody for the first time since I returned to 3dxChat. I wanted my diary to be full of nice experiences but I think this incident has to be called out.

I was talking to a group of friends when I received a cold partner invitation. I declined. Straight away he sent me another. I declined again. I told him I do not accept cold invitations. He sent me another straight away. I put him on ignore. A few minutes later another person gave me a cold partner invitation. I declined. This person said 'I bet you thought you could avoid me by ignoring me, ha, ha, ha'. I put him on ignore. I told my friends about this and they 'had words', as you say. If it had not been for their support I might have found this incident rather upsetting.

This post is in praise of good friends.

It supposedly means "shut the fuck up," but what it actually means is "I don't like what you are saying but I don't have a good argument against what you say, so I will just make some noise and go away."  I know because I use it all the time.

I am sure the servers don't cost anywhere close to that amount, and the cost is almost certainly based on usage. The amount the devs are paying is likely closer to one thousandth the amount you listed. The link shows the cost of hosting for unity games. The devs may not be hosting it on the unity servers, but it likely gives a good idea of the cost of the server.

    https://unity3d.com/unity/features/multiplayer

If you look at the number of subscriptions, and the expenses there is no doubt in my mind that the devs are not lacking in money to add new content if they chose too.

I very much agree with these two points. And given the tenor of some recent topics, I think it is worth thinking about what might happen when the test server shuts down, because it is possible that there will be an influx of new players who not only do not speak English at all but also are almost completely unaware of the Community Rules and the kinds of things that are currently considered common sense on the main server.

Those of us (and, yes, I include myself in this category) who have a rather rigid sense of personal space, who prefer not to receive cold invites of any kind, and prefer to chat before having any other kind of interaction are at first going to feel a little bit like the "community" is coming undone. Well, maybe that is not a bad thing, in some ways. But it will involve making adjustments. LOL

I would welcome Gizmo continuing to operate a second, "free" server on a regular basis. But instead of it being a test server with all the same functionality plus new features, it should be crippled in some ways. No public User rooms, no group chat, etc. It could then be used to test new features but without giving away all the goods for free. Because actually experiencing 3DX is probably the best advertising of all.

You really should lighten up. I especially love the implication that I'm just a misogynist at the end. But then again...this is 3dx...so the probability of you being a guy is very near to 1, so my response being solely because you're 'a woman' is pretty nonsensical.
The reason I respond to you is because I find it amusing how you're so desperate to prove you're so knowledgeable, and then just google some sample script and post it.

What you copy-pasted is javascript...the script you posted is meant for a website. I really shouldn't need to explain why that is not going work, but do I?
Unity does not support JS or even Java as you claim. It only supports C#. (Which means your pre-built JS function isn't going to work...obviously. A C# library does exist, more on that below...)

    From the Unity website:
"What programming languages can you use in Unity?
Unity supports C#, an industry-standard language with some similarities to Java or C++."  https://unity3d.com/programming-in-unity (Link provided in case you think I'm just lying because I hate women.)

Furthermore, Google is not just going to let you use their service FOR FREE on a platform that you charge money for. They have licensing in place for this:
    https://cloud.google.com/translate/pricing

But...if you're such an expert on their API, surely, you should have known that. Also, this is where the C# library is obtained.
Check the API and References section. The C# library requires authentication via an API key, and is most definitely not free. Translation with this method is definitely do-able, but not nearly as simple as you try and make it sound.

Hahaha, No, asshole. I am writing this in English because English is my native language as well as the one in which I am best able to express myself. Which is my entire point: Every player who pays their own subscription is entitled to play the game the way they want, and that includes chatting in local or world chat in the language they feel most comfortable in.

And as far as you ripping into me for anything goes, take your best shot, wuss.

Can you name any games that already do this?  There might be some, for all I know. And if there are, I would like to hear from people who have actually used them about their experience.

But speaking as someone who has been translating and interpreting professionally for more than 20 years, let me explain just the two main reasons why I think this is a pipe dream.

    Cost
It might be free for individuals to go to a webpage, input some text, and get a translation. But it would not be free for SexGameDevil to implement such a system. There would be significant costs involved in implementing and operating such a system. These costs would make an already pricey subscription to 3DX even more so.

    Poor translations are worthless
It is hard enough for a human being to translate a well written sentence. And there are a number of things that are common in ordinary conversation that an automatic translator cannot translate well.  Puns, jokes, and other idiomatic expressions do not translate well. Abbreviations and slang do not translate well. And typos cannot be translated at all. So, the bottom line is that time spent wondering what a translation means is time you can't spend interacting with your friends.

Also, on a personal note, having had several close relationships on 3DX with people who did not speak English well, my own experience is that using a automatic translator is not sufficient to communicate well with someone.  It just doesn't cut it.

Possible it will never implemented. Imagine what will happen if the translator fail and some offensive things are coming out... and all see different versions. A source for much drama. And you can't use translator API's for free from a commercial product, means 3dx would need a license which isn't cheap. So I think you will still need to use a translator by yourself.

BTW if you click on a line in the chat its get automatically copied and you can easily paste it into the translation field of Google Translate or similar tools. So its pretty easy and straight forward.

An alternative for some languages is https://www.deepl.com/translator

The results are much better as with google in most cases!

    Please don't say that.

Please say: It is really important to learn a foreign language.   Because it's really important that everyone learn more than one language. And learn to appreciate the differences in the cultures of countries where those languages are spoken and their own countries.

After all, "une femme française" speaking English is still une femme française.  (People who know me will understand why that is supposed to be humorous.)

There are two things that make 3DX a great place for me. First is that people of any sexual identity are welcome here. Second is that people are welcome to speak any language here.

What do you think you are doing when you speak English in local chat?  Is that fair to everyone who doesn't speak English? And don't give me that "English is common language" baloney, because it isn't.

People are entitled to speak any language they want in local chat. Period! End of story.

There is a lot of things that is and isn't able to be copyrighted. Things such as short phrases, ideas, expressions. Things that are public knowledge also can't be copyrighted.

Fair use clause has very specific guidelines for what can, and can't be used. The areas for where "Fair Use" applies is as follows: commentary, parody, news reporting, research and education. Anything outside this generally doesn't apply for fair use. There is also "derivative works", which is explained here: https://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ14.pdf.

To be protected by copyright, a work needs to be original, have a modicum of creativity, and be 'fixed' in a tangible way.
