Hello ! Here is a simple idea but which could be useful, it is to add a chat window but only to reserve to advertise for parties that take place on 3dxchat, with a response time limit as in the World Editor to avoid any abuse of Spam like for example 15 minutes before being able to make a new advertisement, when I speak of advertisements for parties I speak only of real part, with music, dance and DJ, no sex room where people spend more their time sleeping or laying on a sofa than having sex, because we already know that on 3dxchat as soon as there is the words sex in a room name everyone goes directly
That it's my Proposition for 3DX dev team.

Well, I am not sure about communication and stuff, they never never were good at it as far as I know.
But... The graphics quality and the price... There is simply no adult MMO that can provide the same amount and quality of content for the cost of 3dxchat's yearly subscription. Even full price of it, without sales. If some of people here knows such a game... Well, good for them! But in this case I don't understand why they are here lol. And graphics is simply the best. Yeah, maybe it looks outdated if we compare it with AAA games, but if we compare it with other games of same genre 3dxchat is ahead of all. I know one adult MMO that have close to 3dxchat's level of graphics but it's almost dead, has less updates and shitty optimisation, even in official rooms and it's interface far from being user-friendly, at least if compared to 3dxchat.

At least some positive comment vs the idiotic rage of not being able to play, immediately accusing the devs of not doing a good job, without even knowing basic facts (Xizl rightfully pointed out a few posts ago, viz. the 70 cents drop -its more like 30, or the fact they don´t bask under the sun in a remote, luxury tropical island surrounded by piles of cash.) accusations flow, and it´s immediately against the team without knowing what they are doing in the background. Yes, the dev team should develop a better communication channel, but we don´t even know if they can manage it, this costs a lot, moderators, content owners and the like don´t come for free. Right now they are likely to remind the server provider they host the game on about contractual points to get the shit sorted out as fast as it can be, I doubt they can do anything else at this point, their job is to develop and manage a porn simulator and try their best to maintain their user base happy and coming back again, encouraging people on the go. Not to fix connection issues, DDOS attempts, power failure in a data center and the like. Damn funny this mentality of thinking everything comes granted and there are zero investments behind it.

This game is now in business for around 7+ years and so far there is no other platform that offers the same experience as 3dxchat to be honest, not RLC, achat or Second Life, RLC looks like crap and is more expensive, achat looks like crap and doesn't offer any of the features that 3dx has and is more expansive, Second Life is expansive as f*** if you want to have a decent looking avi and the game runs like in slow mo even on a good PC and after so many years yes SL looks like crap too, there is no real competition in this genre.
At the moment 3dx is the most user friendly game in its price tag and feature list and is looking great for its age.

Development of the new server solution:
- The new server solution is ready, the servers are running. Closed testing is currently in progress.
Question: When will public testing begin?
Answer: As soon as we decide that everything is ready to be tested, we will notify everyone. It may be very soon. Old server situation:
- The old server crashes once a day. Sometimes more often each day, this depends up on load. It takes time to reboot it. During a server reboot, it is useless to try to log in. You will be disconnected again and again. It is better to take a break for 15 minutes and try again.

Billion dollar companies with top tier security, still manages to get hacked and ddos'd. The matter of the fact is, you cannot protect yourself from this, all you can do is make it too troublesome for them to bother. At the end of the day though, if they want to do it then they can. Just accept it, and be glad Gizmo and co. actually tries to fix it.

I"m so glad they continue to work on updates to the game but is now the best time to share a potential update when they could instead provide a status on the DDOS and/or an ETA of when the game will be back up.

Everyone here suddenly became an expert on DDoS attacks and how to stop them.
"You should have done this and that" (yeah i'm sure you're friends with Captain Hindsight from south park)

"Everyone knows you can recover from DDoS in 2-5 hours" (your $10 radio station with 20 people listening has nothing in common with this scenario)

"devs are lazy" (show us the way and do what they do but do it better just to show us)

"Cloudflare does not protect against DDoS, they only give you infrastructure" (Cloudflare does exactly that. Protects from DDoS attacks because they have huge amounts of bandwidth. And this is exactly the reason why their main page 3dxchat.com is still partially working. Game protocol however does not necessarily go through Cloudflare to avoid caching which is bad for real-time protocols)

"You can stop DDoS attacks by installing special server software to ban IPs" (your wordpress brute-force password login attacks have nothing to do with real DDoS attacks lol I guarantee you that if you had the specific attack on your server, it would go 100% cpu just from firewall trying to block all this traffic and eventually your server crashes. DDoS attacks are never being stopped at the server side. It is stopped with the help of infrastructure meaning routers and layer3 switches)

"An error 522 is easy to fix" (522 error means that Cloudflare cannot contact the server in order to serve the requested page. It can mean a number of things and depending on what is happening, can be easy to fix or can be super difficult to fix. In the case that some of the game requests are being done directly into the server (and not through Cloudflare) to avoid caching, I'd like to see you try to do an easy fix on this)

You simply can't recover that easily during an active DDoS attack. This is a battle of who has the most bandwidth. You? Or the attacker? There is nothing you can do if the attack is of higher bandwidth than what your provider has. Even ISP grade routers just die when facing let's say a 10 Gbit attack with a million packets /sec. When stuff like this happens, all you do is contact your isp (and then they contact their isp and so on) to start dropping packets and blocking connections and in an extreme scenario they can even disable your server's port on the switch (like unplugging the ethernet) until the attack stops because this actually does harm to the rest of the clients in the same datacenter.
So please don't play the know-it-all card and don't be a jerk. Just let them do their job. I'm sure they're doing the best they can.
