Completely dumbfounded, possibly disgruntled and Irate, DEFINITELY CONFUSED?

Hey everyone, I am away from home Down in the GTA visiting some friends and family, so have not been on in a few days now, and my only connection to 3dx , which I must say, am missing, is these forums and the Community. So first of all can someone please explain to me what the hell, there taking out, blocking and why?..First of all this is a fantasy game,yes FANTASY, and yes some can be Drama Queens and real annoyances,but that's why we are all adults and ignore and block these idiots.Another thing I am not sure why so many are, and get Pissed about Avis, having two, or three or wtvr, who cares it is a sex game, and fantasy, and one should have the ability to be and do what they want, unless they are hurting, or mistreating others, and we now allready have more rules and laws and such in here to help protect and report those types of troublemakers... I love the fact I can have one or two other characters, to have fun with, and use in Role play, sex, or wtvr the hell I want, it makes the game more expansive and alot more intersting. I would not like to have to pay a ton of gold to have more then one Avi, or only be allowed to have one Avi, damn this freedom is a god reason why I like this game.So then in my opinion ,the Avi argument should be a no go, yes there should be dialogue to perhaps improving it, but going as far as either charging for more then one Avi or blocking and getting rid of the ability to have three is blasphemy,and allmost certainly help make me after over two years of loyalty to this game Walk away, and end my subscription.. ..............

Now the second issue I have noticed,and am COMPLETELY! !!!!, confused on???? I have heard, and read chat over, is this Idea about ignore systems, What the heck is that exactly? , and is it now game law and will be part of the next new upgrade?..Like really! !!, the way I understand this!!!!.. is one can block other peeps in the same room, or others around that's not part of one's group from Pming them, or communicating with them, if they choose, well that is just Brilliant!!!!, and yes I say that (sarcastically). So how exactly then do new peeps as well as others that don't know certain groups of people , possibly communicate,get to know them and become social with others?,well easy answer, they Don. .. I CAN understand an Afk button,or do not disturb button or something along the lines of that, as far as I am concerned that option should have been added months ago, but Blocking, insividuals, some whom maybe friends, or others from completely communicating, is unbelievable.This is supposed to bea.. yes a sexgame,but it is as we all know, alot more then that. THIS is a social game, in which we socialize, meet others, create new and interesting conversations, use our imaginations, explore our sexual fantasies and enjoy interaction.... The richness of this vast community from all walks of life and from around the world has become such an interesting exciting endeavour,but one that has been woven in the art of conversation , and chat, by the use of course with Personal messaging others to start up a friendship that has led to some lasting relationships.I have allready experienced a gradual decline of socialization and local interaction in many of the environments that were once booming with social activity and shananigans, but that was another topic with many point's and opinions that I prefer not to re open..So anyways to finally conclude this I just hope that we do not get blocking others from communicating with us, or only alowing people who are in a group, from communicating and virtually ignoring the others who maybe friends, or perhaps friends that just entered an area or room from even being able to acknowledge them because they and everyone else is blocked so they can't communicate with them. .I understand to some, and in some situations it may seem ideal, but for the over all communication and socializing it can be detrimental to the whole community.This is a fear

I have allready experienced, a room full of what allmost appear to be a bunch of Zombies. I know there not,and are either Afked, or Pming and such, but at least I had the opportunity to try and say hello, and spark up some dialogue either in local, or with others that I did not know and try to chat with,but eventually I connected with another whom thought the same as me, and we Hitt it off.So a fear I have with this block all or some Pms idea and the ability to filter all out,is a dissappearing of socializing, not being heard or acknowledgment by others, because they have no idea you are trying to communicate with them because your basically a ghost,...The idea would lead to many becoming disheartened, upset , disclosed ,isolated, and overall possibly heading away from the once busy, social creative Game it once was..So Please , someone explain what is the status of pm blocking?? I do know we need, Afk, a Do not disturb button,but Pm blocking?!! I Know at times yes Pms can be an annoyance, but I am sure we can figure something out, but Pm blocking, or blocking all but in group, that kills the social aspect for me..So in my own opinion if this comes to pass, it's a definite Goodbye to 3dx for me, and a absolute cancellation permanently from 3dx, without looking back.....So please let's really think this through, and if I am wrong in my thoughts please re assure me....Thanks...Robo.xxxx

if that the case, i thinks you misunderstand that ppl realy want, i agree that the choice of word (like "ignore") of some was bad and can be confusing ^^

 

ppl not realy want to ignore all other ppl, that they want is a way to be untroubled when they want some time for themself, like if they are in private with someone, i can totaly be for a option that can give that : like a option to auto respon all incomming PM with a made-up message we made, that better to auto send a "i'm busy right now sorry" than get a lot of "why did you give me the cold shoulder the other time" later ^^, maybe configurable statue free/busy/afk can be a good one to ^^

 

and with the same idea in mind, i would be totaly for option like :

 

[checkbox] refuse invite by default

[checkbox] refuse friend by default

[checkbox] refuse partner by default

 

because cold invite are not a way to socialise =), and can be annoying

I totally agree with you... and wrote - independently from you and with much fewer words - the same thoughts in another thread!

 

I really hate the thought of an ignore SYSTEM... Meaning that we think more about ignoring people than contacting them... For me this are weired thoughts by weired people....

For one I love the Ignore feature. I would not be paying for something that would give me headache. Yes it's a social platform and as every one of those have the ability to block unwanted communication. I like to decide who I want to be in touch with, or even just see the person at all. Ignore is a great value to a platform like this and I use it happily. Some people just must be silenced and made to go poof from my screen. I also use that feature when I record videos to "clean" out the place for the scenery. It's a good feature.
