  1. I don't think it's the pure amount of people what's shaping the game: a) it's the kind of people - so many players nowadays realls forgot about the 'chat' part in 3dxchat b) there's a lot of hop on hop off. So a lot of times when you think you've met someone who's pretty cool he/she is gone. c) Size of rooms is way to big. In the 'old days' rooms have been quite small. So sometimes they have been overcrouded. But most of the times you had a funny in-room-conversation and there was a big chance to meet your fellows back again. that are my 50ct
  2. Okay... I have the same issue. I sorted out antivirus but it did not help....
  3. Oh, they have used this Approach. And we had very engaged and good Moderators who did it for free. But those poor guys "retired" because a) the community did not appreciated their work at all and sometimes went really nasty on them and the devs did not provide them with the necessary Information to built up an trustworthy communication as most of the time the moderator had no answers to the Questions of the community (at least they said so and that was - at least for me - trustable). So we all have to live with the fact that our devs a) do not care About or are not skilled to handle or c) have not the capacity to handle this community. Just my 50 Cents. Cheers, Mich
  4. Gosh Devs… I finally wanted to test the new Client and Server... What you created is a free Play Version of the game. It reminded me a bit of the good old times - not that bad But this is everthing but a test Server. You Need to make sure, that your Testplayers Play or at least played the game before. You can even see it by the Questions in this Forum. Or you just wanted a Server where People can test if they subscribe
  5. Very well! And if MeiLing is tired of Scrolling through all that personal shit do you really think devs will do so!? Jesus - since 4 years it's getting worse with every update (shaking my head) Just my 50ct...
  6. Of Course you're right Nion. But I guess we "know" each other here Long enough to understand that devs won't care. We all tried to help to develop this game by giving our opinions because we like it that much. Some of us "early birds" did not allways find the right tonality what may have led to that devs do not listen any more to what is said. So I just advise not to put some effort in trying to tell them what we wish or even what's to do. Lisa for example has been last active on mid of January... I think that's telling a lot... So give a Feedback to this game but don't expect a reaction. That's all I wanted to say...
  7. Come on guys... this goes on now for years - and it won't Change for years, at least until there is no real competitor. I'm here for a Long time right now. I've never seen so many People in game like now. So you can't say that the devs have no success. Anyway the game has a great lack of fun for me - that's for sure. But I'm still here as well (okay I wouldn't be without the Christmas Special, but anyway). As Long as this is like it is they won't Change. So stop complaining and Play this game or move to another. All the efforts you put in this are worthless.... Just my fifty Cents....
  8. You're right... but what's not that normal is their Long absence from this forum... Gizmo's last post is from January und Lisa's even from November... For their and our sakes just let's suppose that they're on vacation... ;-)
  9. Thanks Veronique! It took me some time to get it - maybe it has been because it was out of the boundaries of my Imagination that devs now even start to fool around with the community...
  10. Am I the only one who cannot Download the patch?
  11. Hey Zokora, very well chosen words. And yes: Lisa and Gismo did a great job by developing this fantastic game. But communication is a thing both seem to reject. There have been a lot of offers for help that have been unheard. Anyway: I like your try and hope that'll be heard. Cheers Micha
  12. Yep...and I missed the discussion of yours and all those other "old" fellows. One reason I started this topic for. Good to see you alive, anyway
  13. Yay... but I wouldn't go that far that it's a reaction to this topic... or?
  14. Hey RobT, thanks for your reply. And yes, there are ALLWAYS people who are annoyed if devs DO something or DON'T DO something. But at least people have been involved in how this game will develop. Now the communities just cares about itself. And - and this is my very personal oppinion - you can feel this attitude in the game as well. Peace, Mich
  15. Hey there, I neither want to start a new fight here. Nor do I want to call back that good old times. But I'm really, really missing the game-caring, discussing community here. Since 17 days no new update. A ready-made new location that - in my opinion - is totally uninspired as it is just like Night-Club or Fresco, just in (snowy) western style. No comments from Devs about updates since December and Lisa seems to be disappeared at all. I love this game and I love this community (in a strange and weired way, I guess ). But all those things about this game seems no longer to be discussed. So, please, Devs. Take this community seriously. Stop annoying those who care about this game and silencing them down by ignorance. All this takes away a bit from the soul of this game and from the core that really made the difference to other competitors. Thanks for reading this and - most important - peace
  16. God guys... when you have a good wank (or whatever stimulation you prefer) you had a good one Maybe it would be better or not good at all if you knew the real gender of your in-game partner. But who cares as long as the illusion last. What is an absolute no-go from my point of view is playing as an sexy female or futa e.g. and after having sex telling your partner that you're in real life an overweighted old dude If I had the choice I would always choose the illusion. Otherwise I would advise you as well to go down the street.... Cheers, Mich
  17. I can totally agree with what Violet and Twiggy said. So I'm myself are totally unasure if I will prolong my sub. But I also think that Twiggy is right, when she points out, that people will enter this game and create revenue for the devs anyway. You just have to watch the behaviour of all those who complained badly about the not coming update. They are all silent now and maybe prolonged or even returned to the game - because we have a beta now. Not an update - just a beta. What means that we had the last update 4 month ago... But anyway - there is one point I really don't get in the strategy of the devs: The seem to focus on high end graphics and are for sure outstanding in this genre. But when it comes to poses or things to do they seem to rely on the fantasy of the players!? And just to point this out and to forecome all the dissing this post will probably receive: I just write this because I like this game pretty much and see its potential.
  18. Updates or not... what this game needs is some maintenance. At least for this game is itching more and more (at least in the user rooms). The heavy modding, that's going, seems to become some normal state but can't be good for the core of the game. So as a minimum we need maintenance updates....
  19. Well Chaos ;-) A agree to your points regarding the mods - but if a mod like Achilles, who allways defended the devs without any reason, leaves quitley, i'm pretty sure that something happened involving the admin-side. So I was saying: Don't bet on updates - just enjoy the game! Außerdem ist EM... Da haben wir doch gerade ganz andere Sorgen! *lol Happy Weekend
  20. Did anyone notice that there are no moderators anymore? Ash left in silence (thanx for your work, Ash) and it seems like even Achilles backed off from being moderator!? Now I'm quite convinced that 3DX is dying... So let's enjoy the time that is left until the pulse of life will vanish from this great place....
  21. LOL, if I wouldn't know better, I would think that this is a great marketing maneuver to distract all those complaining people from the not coming updates... But that would mean that the devs are professional marketeers....
  22. God Achilles, you're really, really biased concerning this game... Patch 337 was always discussed together with unity 5 and a lot of the guys here thought after the patch that we're now already on unity 5. The first concrete information about this patch (and that was the response of the first waves of complaints) has been on 11th February. So I really appreciate the fact that your loyal to this game. But please stick to the facts....
  23. Thanks Cordelia. But I have the same thoughts as Camden about. I don't know any company where this approached worked in the long run...
  24. The falling tree is always making more noise than the growing wood (old chinese saying). That's why there is so much more complaints than praise. But.... This forum and the whole way this game has been set up is to give its players the feeling that they are really part of this world. See the forum section "Development & Suggestions": It gives you the feeling that your suggestions are a wanted contribution. But I never had the feeling that those ever influenced the development of this game. And in all my time here, there never has been a kind of real dialogue between the devs and the community. And even the implementation of mods didn't changed that (even though especially Ash tried hard). So is this game dying? I really don't think so - at least in the short run. It just changes. Maybe there are more subscribers than ever. But in my opinion there are a lot more "hoppers". Coming in and leaving after one or two month. That changed this community from my point of view. When I started it was hard to get in but after a while you just knew some people. It was always like comming home, even if you took a break for some time. That has - at least for me - gone. I can see it at my friend list. As a rule of mine I just add people who I have talked to for a certain time. That nearly makes no sense any more because freshly added friends dissapear very quickly these days. So I think that - by behaving like the devs do - they exchanged a smaller but very loyal community by a bigger but fluctuating community. If this is the right decision on the long run - I don't think so. But this is how it is....
