    I love medieval times, garb, weapons. Daddy used to say a gun can make any coward brave but if you have to get close enough to get hurt yourself (like with swords, daggers, quarterstaffs and halberds) people will think twice. Yes he did fence and was amazing to watch. I got the DNA for his brains, my little sister got his athletic DNA. I used to love to watch her put mean boys on their butts.

    Haven't heard of it happening before, but it could also have to do with the server they were using before if they are just renting out space on a server farm (witch it sounds like they were doing) and said farm barely did the minimal to safeguard.

     

    EDIT: And if they were already looking at swapping out servers anyways, this response makes sense... why try to replace the broken stuff when your going to be changing away from it in a few months anyways? By just moving us all over to their test server, it gives them the chance to stress test it, and get it up and running faster, in the long run it is the better choice... will be cold comfort depending on some of those bugs we will be finding in the short term however.

    SO if theyre renting server space and stuff's not getting fixed its the server company's issue not the 3dx devs.......this gets as complicated as a GoT plot line when you throw business relationships and contracts in.  Thats why I never use clouds for my stuff.....i dont know who owns and runs them or how good the hardware is....and im goign to trust my data to THAT?  nope. external hard drives and backups. Daddy was an engineer, a really smart well, and he taught me alot.

    Yes, the server issues have been big problems for some time, but we have survived such things before and we will survive this.  I understand many of you have no lives and totally lose your minds when 3DXChat goes down, but if 3DXchat is all you have then you should not be in 3DXChat.  You should be out getting yourselves lives.  The few of us who have lives, do not lose our minds when 3DXChat goes down, and we actually pick up buckets and bail water out to save this ship from being claimed by the briny deep.  We do that by supporting the 3DXchat staff and by continuing to pay for our memberships so they are being paid for the jobs they are no doubt doing to fix the good ship 3DXChat.

    Well, rather then sit here and get mad I go to another MMORPG, put poison on my daggers and gank as many Alliance types as i can.  Artful assassination really DOES relieve stress.

    Then why not simply put a limit on log-ons like Blizz has had to do during WOW expansions?  If it were that simple I'm pretty sure they would have done it.  Who want to deal with a bunch of angry customers?

    I know they're working hard to get it up and running again.  How about we all quit complaining and be supportive.  This forum is sounding like an ER waiting room where people are complaining they've waited 3 hours to see the doctor about their girl parts itching when the doctor is dealing with 3 gunshots, 2 heart attacks and a stroke! 

    I wouldn't even know how to begin to do what the tech people do, so if I'm that clueless i really can't complain how long its taking.  Yes, like y'all i wish it were up, but i got the dishes done and the bathroom clean and got laundry in the machine before the rest of the people in the apartments were awake to do their laundry - so i didn't have to wait!

    So please be nice to them and try cheering them on!
