I know that feeling well, pin-ball boucing around to try and hug and say hi to everyone and half the time i miss someone and feel bad about it xD And i figured it might be alot of the EU crowd for the start, while i dont know too many people from it, i have noticed the times when ive been on during EU peak time, it feels like less clubs are open but larger crowds, why i tend to guess how rooms are doing by how they hang in once Americans start flooding in, since as always, we're like herding cats... in a rainstorm.

I mean i wouldn't expect much else, no matter what anyones gripe may be, there was no way the room wouldn't be well built and a decent crowd going, grand openings almost always bring in a good sized crowd and this being a official event was going to help bring them in, and once you got a crowd in and going, the vibe usually gets positive (mostly). Me being curious was more of a "are they pulling in alot of the club peeps? Is it mostly getting powered from EU due to less clubs open early? Is it alot of gawkers" ect... Just find it interesting how the room dynamics play out sometimes. I'm with you though about not a fan of massively crowded rooms, don't even really like DJ'ing them, maybe im weird, but when my Avi is surrounded by people start to feel trapped, why i have a habit of going UP to dance on a perch xD

Yeah but 9 out of 10 is hard to pull off, that takes alot of things lining up right... And this party was never going to have that going for it. Im more curious about the breakdown of whos attending and whos not, for all the clubs and the like in 3dx, there is still a large part of the community that is more for the fuck rooms over anything and just pop into other rooms out of curiosity once in awile.

You mean games with dedicated Dev teams that put out content on a regular basis? You can't really compare them to 3DX considering the game already HAS a strong emphasis on users building and enriching the world. Apples and Oranges Pan. Honestly, the event itself doesn't bother me, and the DJ names i recognize on it, i can vouch are all talented at what they do, but this defense your rushing to is missing the point of most of the complaints and some of them ARE valid. And there really isn't much in the way of competition to 3dx as a game, we see it all the time as people come here from what other games exist you've been here long enough pan, you've seen the sudden floods. The only competition it was being sprung on was other players who had been organizing events for Friday night and feel jipped, as one of the complaints thats been up a few times pointed out... They are not allowed to advertise in game, but this gets to have front page on login, where -everyone- see's it... if i had been planning a event, i'd be mad too. There is next to no chance Lovense set the event date last minute like that... i dont know about the DJ's, Dancers and Builder (THEY might have only found out last minute), but the odd's of Gizmo and Co not knowing when it would be until last minute are slim to none. I will say, the people arguing there should have been a competition for the slots and build, are not thinking about the logistics of how big a undertaking that would be, this is a sponsored big event after all, and with a small team running the game.... while it would have been nice for them to tell everyone how they came to the choices on who they picked might have calmed some of the complaints, lets be honest, there would still be some of you mad about it. Boycott the event if you dislike how they did this or dislike the changes with Lovense (and i get some of those complaints, im still iffy on this partnership and ive been saying for awile now 3dx should be lovese compatible) Post up on here and go with word of mouth to get people to go to your parties your throwing tomorrow, But at this point there is no putting the genie back in the bottle and we all know how "open and transparent" our dear overlords are. And there is no real need to get mad at the dancers, dj's and builder for it, unless you have some kinda proof it was all backroom deals, just accept they got tapped the rest of us didn't, if it makes you mad, then put on a heck of a party tomorrow and show them up, this is 3dx where we all fight constantly to promote our clubs and parties!

I've held to we need FtM too if we did Trans avi's... i think Bad had the best idea of just allowing to lock positions and gentilla

I think for them, they have a larger number of servers, so in the event of a DDoS, they can push the load onto their otherones. I know in WoW when DDoS attacks happened, Blizz gave a heads up, and it might be wonky and laggy to get on, but everything worked again in short order

Its Talon, your not playing with them, your feeding them, and in doing so, you almost make his rants look like they have a point. Be it a cry for attention, or something seriously wrong with them, just engaging right back with talon, dose little favor to yourself, or the rest of the community forced to watch your quotes so you can try and act 'witty'. I may disagree with a fair bit from Talon, but they had a point in if you can't stop poking at them, your just a fan.
