As Cassey and me mentioned before: watch the tutorial videos from the links and play around with the World Editor. They guide you through the process of building with floors and walls. It's a little bit much to describe everything about the World Editor here in the forum. If anything is then still unclear, we can help you here.

And a function to synchronise more than three people would be great! It would help the dance teams also.

The main issue is: there is no real competition for 3DXC... As long as there is no pressure on them, there is no reason to develop new big functions. And to be honest: most of the (non sexual) new poses were just downloaded for free. So there was no big development needed except importing them into the game.

This would be a good starting point: World Editor Tools Guide - Modz Tutorials - 3dxModz

Not sure if this is the right place for this question

There is another "dive spot" in the official beach room And who found the hand - washing pose in one of the other official rooms? But yes, a diving pose would be cool! -
uhhh, why can't I point the lights upward? And why can't I change them in size??? I wanted to make something like the Bat Signal...

Can you ALT + TAB to other Windows programs? Or use WIN + D to get back to the desktop. Is it just 3DXC that is unresponding? Do other programs run? What does task manager say? What does the Windows event viewer say? Any error messages? What are the settings for the hard disk in the power plan?

I would love to have Bezier curves and the possibility to import jpeg or png pics. One of the official club rooms has a picture at its entrance. And an in-game-text editor that uses all your Windows fonts. That would make creating logos so much easier... And while we are on it: how about "negative objects" that create holes in other objects. Like a negative cube would create a window in a wall.

What would you do with these data? Just curious. I would love to have a "note" field in the bio of people in my friend list where I can enter text.
-
I might be wrong, but it could be that the bot reacts to the word https and auto - bans you.
-
Imagine you have jump points from one room to another. Add the possibility to make an object clickable and have an info popup with pictures and texts, like our bios. That would make for great treasure hunts or other activities. You could find an object in a Tomb Raider like room with a riddle... "Enter the door to the left for glory and fortune. Enter the door to your right for eternal doom!" And then you have to decide and see where your choice leads you "His choice was... wise!"
-
The distances are the real problem. We need some "jump points" that beam us to different spots in the room. This could also be used for elevators. Or my dream would be moving objects, like a monorail where you can hop on and off.

You are not a real 3DXC player when you have never been banned

Thank you If you haven't already, you should visit Sathana's Club! This is how the finished sign looks...

room ratings? comments? at least stars?
Diana Prince replied to Lunarelf's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
You are right, Jen. A 5 star room means something different for everybody. There are some art exhibition rooms that I would give a 6 star :-), but there are hardly any visitors in there. And frankly, I would suppose the majority of the players wouldn't even know how much time and effort goes into building these rooms. For them, a 5 star room is a room where they can get virtual sex. -
Hi, it seems there is a bug with the globe shape object. When you change its form, e.g. enlarge it in one axis so that it looks like a cigar, it still behaves like a globe. That means, you can't walk right next to it, there is like a hull over it. You can even walk on this invisible hull, see screenshot. @Gizmo @Lisa, is there anything you can do about this? Thanks in advance. Globe Bug.world

Running water (or smoke) is normally done with the objects in the second row (see screenshot). You have to change the size of the water/smoke object to fit to the shower or waterfall or chimney or whatever you want to create. But there is no way to switch it on or off like a shower. When you put this object in your room, it is always "on".
-
I put a simple wall + trigger element world file in the attachment. You can play around with it and see how it works. shower wall.world

Do you mean objects that already have built-in poses (like beds or chairs)? I don't think you can remove the original trigger for these objects. But you can add more triggers to them. Use the trigger object (see screenshot) andd move it to the desired spot. What exactly is not working for you?

Has world space grown, performance problems?
Diana Prince replied to SakuraforGirls's topic in World Editor
that's true Alivia, but it's a difference between our 8 MB New York room that consists mostly of concrete, stone or asphalt objects and an 8 MB room full of reflecting objects with smoke, fire and other effects. These effects put a heavy load on the GPU. Best seen in smoke or waterfalls. -
