  1. I can, if it allowed, post a Gyazo video of this effect, is appears as a "shaking" view, not stable. Doing a bit of research I think it is an issue on laptops with integrated graphics, not on systems with discrete graphics. I generally run on a laptop, have not seen this in the 4 years I have been a member, using my laptop. I tested in the same room tonight also using my desktop with discrete graphics, and it was nice and stable. Thoughts or ideas? Settings I should modify? Let me know what other information might be helpful, a bunch of -people had this same issue in this room tonight. Thank you.
  2. MeiLing THANK YOU !!!! I wish I had simply asked earlier. I notice now the steps are: 1. Save the colors you want as Favorites 2. Choose the Color from you Favorites, not from just entering a new value 3. Save your work So simple once you know, and so subtle. This is why YOU are a builder and I am a simple "tinkerer".
  3. I have been having an issue with the builder which I have not been able to figure out, having to do with adding color to an object. Most times it will not remain after I save the file and then go to the room. Once in a while it will work, I have not yet found a specific pattern. I have a 2nd account as well, I have tried this with both accounts on 3 different machines with the same result. I give the same file to friends, and they have no issues. I suspect it is something I may be doing wrong in the steps, is there a resource you can point me to that might help? I will post this on the chat forum as well. Thanks in advance. The 2 screen shots are my trying to change the color of the objects in the middle to Blue from Silver.
  4. After a bunch of trial an error, I still am not sure of root cause, but suspect some resource conflict that does not show in the event logs. I have found the 3d is fine when other apps are not running, have not been able to pinpoint exactly which, or what combination. Once it is running OK, I can start and run other apps, shut down and restart 3d and all is good. If I try to start 3d after I have other apps up and going, it very consistently locks up. As I have an easy workaround, doubtful I will beat this to death anymore, I am just too lazy. Thought I would pass along my findings.
  5. It is just 3dx, all else works well. Good idea to check the event log. Everything, including disk, is set to never sleep. This one is a puzzler to me.
  6. All runs fine as long as I am active in the 3d window. I am not sure how long it must be inactive before I get no response, the first I noticed was overnight, then this morning I noticed after an hour or so as a test. I have no issues on my laptop. The symptom is that while I can mover the cursor around in the Window I cannot access anything nor type in the chat window. Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions? My Desktop is Windows 10, with an Nvidia GTX 745, i run windowed. Sleep is set to NEVER in Power Plan. Thanks for any help and advice.
  7. Hmmm, not quite sure what to day other than this is the second time I have run into this safe gripe here in 3d land. Name calling is, well, bad enough. In this day and age to purposely use an incorrect gender pronoun repeatedly is not only bad form, but an obvious way to attempt to further denigrate.
  8. Unity actually has a Bad Word Filter and works again 25 languages. No Filter will be 100%. As has been pointed out by many, determined, umm "people" will go to great lengths to circumvent. This is the same as a lock on your door, it will help keep the general bad people out, not the determined ones. I do wonder about the 3 people who voted "No", and if they have any rational thinking behind that. Derai, thanks for starting this thread and discussion. Gizmo, thanks for giving it consideration.
