awesome!  Could you also look into why some of us need a VPN to log in? Live version works for me without VPN, beta doesn't.

I guess they either just use one (new) server now or there are still two and they use something like load-balancing with just one entry point.

for me this happens "often" that i invite a friend to my room and another friend enters 3dx. so i love to invite this one too. in the end i have to reopen the room for group to get both invited. so i ask myself why not allowing players to share their rooms by default (ging the name of the room and the user group that will be able to access) when the player enters 3dx with its avatar. if you don't like to share you can deactivate the feature. think this is a minor interesting topic, but hopefully some of you have the same wish.

As I see it, there are four levels of "privacy:

"invite to apartment" is highest level (just the ones you invite directly)
"Open for group"
"Open for friends"
as a public room

Of course you need to know before you invite someone or open a room which level you will need. Otherwise you need to open again to change the level.

I normally save my larger projects every day with a new number, e.g. "[name] 1", "[name] 2",...
If I make larger changes during the day, I use the next number then. Sometimes I put the name of the added object in the filename, e.g. "[name] 23 Brooklyn Bridge".

Try to connect the Quest via cable, then use Virtual Desktop (Google the download link please). From there you start 3DXC as usual but press F1 when you see the login screen.

there is a known bug with falling through the floor when there is an object nearby that consists of many grouped objects (like a logo or a text).

Is this the case in your room?

And don't get me wrong! I want everything with 3DXC to be legally ok. The worst thing for the devs and us to happen would be a big company suing and shutting them down! Nobody wants this to happen.
So I take Gizmo's word for granted that there is nothing to worry about.

It's about copyright. Try to post a YouTube video with music from a movie or something like that. You can count the seconds till you get a copyright strike. Why are Youtubers so cautious about this?
It's the same with assets for games. You can't just rip them from other games and use them in yours. You can't use (the files of) Michael from GTA 5 in your game.

Putting 3DXC on Steam will make it much more known, and more developers and game publishers will see it.

If the devs bought the hairstyles, then everything is ok.

If they bought the hairstyles as they claim, it shouldn't be a problem to show some receipts to silence the claims.

If both got ignore at the same time, it 99% a bug. Can you reach them on Discord to check with them or do you have mutual friends?

I would love a rotatable skybox, or even a dynamic one (something like in WildLife). And please let us rotate textures, too.

I showed a calculation on the Discord server that in one year there are than 1.700 man-hours of work time. And that is only for one person. Do you think that these one or two updates we get a year equal the work of more than 1.700 hours? Or more than 3.000 hours if there are more than one dev?

You mean quality like making a phone call with a slice of pizza when you "eat" it, or the clipping from hell when you are in partner pose and have a drink or something in your hand? Or the orientation bug when one of the partners was in idle 5?

It's... working. But the controls are horrible. You are always in 1st person view and you have a small dot in the center of your view. It acts as the mouse cursor. It means you have to look at the space where you want to go and press the one button on the controller that is enabled.
And forget about chatting. You need to look at every letter, click, then look at the next letter... If you can get the chat window to open at all...

Meta Quest 3 is working, too.

what GPU does she use? Did she update the drivers? This looks like more like a display bug than anything else.
Did she try to reduce all graphics settings in 3DXC?

it's a great tool, but use with caution! It can delete objects that are really small. So a logo or text might get corrupted.

What "card" are you talking about?

As MissD asked before:
- what streaming host do you use? I use MyRadioStream
- what player do you use? I use WinAmp
- what music format do you use? Gizmo made a post a couple hours ago on Discord that only MP3 and OGG is working, ACC does NOT! I use MP3.
- is your music streaming link working when you put it in any browser?
- you DO have a radio object in your room and you put your radio stream link in there and clicked on play?
- remember that there is NO sound in the changing room in 3DXC
- you followed all the instructions in this "manual": Streaming music into 3DXC chat rooms

The font looks like Primer Print font. I made an alphabet with it, you just need to "fill" the letters

looks like your internet provider blocks 3DXC... You could try a VPN like Hotshield or Mullvad VPN and set your virtual location to another country.

As you said, there is already Discord (and the 3DXC server there). So why waste precious resources and invent the wheel new? 

And what is difficult about Discord or the chat app of your choice?

most of these things have been asked for since a long time. So I wouldn't hold my breath for it. 

But you are right, those were awesome to have!
