Well, the present situation breaks down to one rule: the more you pay, the more attention you get. Considering this a good system is also telling a lot. Making observations (gathering data) is one thing, drawing conclusion is still another. It is also true, that not everyone interprets everything the same way and therefore different people come to different conclusions even while based on the same observations. Anyhow, now it works actually the way, that the more you pay the more attention you raise. Systems like this work like Monopoly. If money is the only adjusting screw, at the end only the biggest fish survives. If you come to different conlusions, welcome. We did come to ours and therefore we quit, 'cos the present rules are no rules we judge as worth while to support. Therefore we take measures and don't go along with it anymore. If we would like to spend our time in a competition race, we would simply go and play Monopoly. But Jazz and I agree that Monopoly is a rather boring and crappy game. Before it was also counting how well your event was received. If people liked it and stayed it did also matter. This was also not perfect, agree. But perfect solutions are rather rare. Nevertheless, in our humble opinion it still was better than now, where only more crowns and even very very much more crowns count. Besides this was only one more reason, that triggered our decision, but this is no topic for a forum.

Hi folks, we quit. It had been fun and we like to thank all who supported us during the past years. We sincerely hope we managed to give you some pleasent moments at our venues. Jazz and I can ensure you, we had. But since we don't have that fun anymore, it's time to close the curtain. There are several reasons for it, we won't discuss here nor anywhere. Only one thing, which did really discourage us a lot, I'm gonna mention here. This is directly connected with the way the locations are listed now @Gizmo . Probably it is gaining some bucks, uh? But from our point of view it has a harmful side effect. Besides we already payed for our subscription Besides we put our efforts into building our locations Besides we pay for a stream server (most cases something relyable with broadwith, quality and unlimited listeners comes not for free) Besides we put efforts into engaging dancers, DJs, yadda yadda yadda And besides all this we should pay in addition XGold to get on top and noticed? Haha, yeah of course! Get yourself other suckers, we are out. Certainly every day a dumb one rises and we guess it pays off for you. However, it won't be the brightest idea on the long run, as we consider it. A good friend of ours did already quit month ago and now our time has come to say no more. The dumb ones rising tomorrow won't be us again. I wanna be damned if I ever again pay 300 for a crown under this circumstances. We don't have any hope that things may change to the better again, since a nice rally of groups established, who are throwing crowns like confetti on a 4th July parade and we suggest it pays well? But Jazz and I won't. Our friend was not the first to resign and we won't be the last, we are convinced. We tell you, what this will most probably lead to. Go downtown and have a look around. What do you see? We know already what you'll see, not even knowing where you live. But we can tell you nevertheless. You see McDonalds, Mango, Zara, Douglas, Starbucks, IKEA and so on and so forth. Different city, same crap. Variety, individualism, uniquity died. It will be the same here, since this system makes it too harsh for tiny independend groups or individuals to compete with the "companies". So what? There are so many, who consider currywurst a meal, so nothing for you to worry about, right? Right! If fish fingers are fish enough, one may pretty well give a shit about the oceans. Doesn't matter anyway, that's just our 2 cents. Perhaps here and then we'll open one of our clubs and play some tunes. If you like, have a look at the lower part of the locations list. You'd be cordially welcome. Especially if you like to listen to tunes, which aren't played too often elsewhere. EDM free zone, promised! Going through this pages, I see really some misconceptions. Democracy and parity for example. This is a buisness run by someone. It is no democracy at all. I mean, what'll be next? Voting about the pricing? Get real! Who runs the business configures the price. If you find it too expensive, noone forces you to buy it. Same way with this promotion. The captain decides to hoist the Lovense flag on the top mast today, so be it. This is far from a democracy, get over it. Community. Honestly it is more like some groups with similar interests - and often colliding interests as they aim for pretty much the same things. Some groups go along well, some get pimples facing each other. Pretty much like real life. If you want a community, you'd better build one around yourself, because for real the community is rather limited. Mainly ppl go for their own interests. And why shouldn't they? Don't you? Advertising. Yes, we get a ban for ads in WC. At least if we get cought. One can like or dislike that. Frankly spoken, I am not against an advert ban. I remember WC being purple and spammed all over. This sucked! OK, one may argue, WC sucks anyway, but this is a different story. Perhaps I would not be that strict and ban everyone already after the first ad. But since I do not run 3DX, it is anything but my decision. I get the point, it seems unfair in the sense of parity, that we get kicked for ads and this event is promoted even at the login page. But know what? It is no parity there. Parity lays in all users earning a ban for WC ad spamming. But devs aren't users. Simple fact. Payed service. Yes, we all pay for the service. And I recall the TOS the way that it is not a kind of constitution that we're all the same including the devs. (I am even uncertain, if they pay for being able to login to 3DX *lol*) Or if they decide to do a promotion event, they need to ask all users about their wish to participate. I suppose, it is pretty well defined what is payed for and what not. Of course one feels dissappointed if the illusion crumbles, it would be a democracy. But this is mainly because of this idea being a mere illusion. Consider it more like an absolutistic monarchy - constitutional monarchy at best - and the world is spinning round again. Timing. Probably it would be more acceptable to give an earlier premonition about the date of this event. I admit, I would also be annoyed if an event organized by us would collide with it today. But on the other hand - most times everyone gives a wet fart about other's already announced events. Perhaps it will be arranged not to collide with events of friends or befriended groups, but beyond that, I doubt anyone cares at all. Except for perhaps placing an own event exactly on this day, just to annoy someone deliberately. Community, my ass! Sometimes I wonder, if an arm selling company wouldn't make a good profit here. Probably a mini game like boxing or another kind of duelling would earn a lot of attention? So much about community. As far as I am concerned, I'd also feel honored to be chosen as an active part of such an event. I doubt anyone won't and would have denied to take part. But for now I am not the chosen one! Merdé! Meanwhile, I don't envy those who were too much (honestly a lill' ) But anyway, if it becomes a nice party, I won't lose much. And if not, there'll be plenty of other places to visit, like every day. What bothers me more are the glitches not being fixed as quickly than usual. I remember bugfixes being done already the day after an update and I was hoping for a similar fast solution this time again. Seemingly, there are different priorities on dev's agenda at the moment but nevertheless, I feel like having paid for a service including lipstick, so this is right now the most annyoing topic for me personally. Not that plain easy, Ex. (sorry, but adressing you with an @ in front is really p.i.t.a.). There are designers involved and a whole business of advertisement companies to tell us, what we have to should like because "OMG this is sooooo fancy! And my fav influancer has it already!" In this case it is not really as much of a free market, as it seems to be. And since this mechanisms are meanwhile very well examined psychologically and accordingly sophisticated, they become more subtile and effective. Too subtile for anyone of us too be able to claim, this would have no effects on us. We don't even notice it, eg. product placement in movies. You see it just for a glimpse and you take note, but it does not even reach your consciousness. Besides, so far I did not notice many, who make a public tendering about their plans to party. Usually, hosts contact the folks they like to cooperate with, do it on the locations they like, the day they chose, yadda yadda. But the dev's aren't allowed to do it same way? Parity, my ass! And even if they'd made it a competition. Does anyone really believe, after they took a decision, they won't face a shitstorm as well, like: "Why X? Y is so much better. (Apart from that, I like Y more than X, 'cos X is a freakin' *beeb*.)" Only one thing is certain though: If you want to please everyone, you will fail while trying. I suppose, they will not take all the other locations from the room list this day, will they? So what? Do your thing, and wherever you decide to go to or whatever you decide to do, have fun and be happy. Honestly, I also do not like everything delivered. But I benefit from the things I like and leave the other stuff aside, well knowing, there will be some who do like. Nevertheless, I would really like to get my lipstick back soon and something like a more natural swing for boobs.
