Is becoming? From what I've seen that's an understatement! The forums have been quite quiet lately, could this because the people who challenge the trolls have decided that there's better sport elsewhere? Perhaps they have a real life. The trolls certainly haven't gone away.

Maybe they are confusing the test server and the real server??

Yeah, it's just gonna take some time for stuff to stabilize I guess... Even though there was a "test server" before this.  I wonder what was tested? But still, I'm sure there is a lot more stuff that goes on behind the scenes and everything can't be controlled. I was having problems with the profile button not working even before the move.

Yeah, of course you can be betrayed in many different ways in real life - but it's kinda nearly impossible to conceal your real gender in real life. We don't deal with that problem in the real world. I don't have to wonder if a girl I'm having sex with is actually a girl - I see and feel her body, it's clearly female. The issue that I'm mostly trying to address is that a lot of guys play as female avis (and sometimes women play as male avis, but it's not as common), and they're not straight up about their real-life gender. Which isn't fair to the people they fuck in the game, who would be really creeped out and disgusted if they knew they were having virtual sex with someone of their same gender.
 
Mind you, there's a massive difference between exploring your own fantasies yet being clear with the people you play with about your true identity, and exploring your own fantasies with complete disregard for how much you might anger or hurt the people you play with by not being up front about yourself. You understand what I mean? I'm all for people doing whatever they want in 3DX - you're a guy that wants to play as a girl, that's totally cool...just be up front about it. That's all. And there are many, many players that are honest about that in their profiles, many more than there used to be, and I really respect and appreciate them for doing that. But some people just straight up don't give a shit, they don't think about the fact that there are real people behind the avatars they play with.
 
That's the main issue that I'm talking about. By making it incredibly easier for people to lie about their true identity, you make it incredibly easier for a lot more people to potentially get hurt by the indifference and selfishness of the "friends" they thought they could trust. 
 
And I mean, look, it's whatever. The devs don't give a fuck, nobody gives a fuck, this situation is never going to be remedied. But I think it's an important issue to address, regardless. I just hope that people that play as the opposite gender have a little consideration for the sexual preferences of the people they mess around with, that's all.

I rarely read these forums because of the childish troll rants. I came here hoping to find some intelligent info on why the service is down. Silly me.
 
All this waste of energy could have been avoided with one simple post from management:
 
"We will be taking the service down for the next (insert number) days for (insert reason). Please bare with us while we improve the service."
 
How EASY is that? Everyone wants an improved 3dx. However, paying subscribers don't appreciate service outages and then getting total silence from management. 
 
Whoever runs 3dx needs a serious lesson in customer relations. Some lessons in actually LISTENING to the wants and needs of their customer base would be nice too.

Yes I hear the many different points of view regarding life outside of 3dx, other games, patience, and the like.  However, for some of us, this is a place of relaxation with special people with whom we cannot have other types of connections, and that makes this time special.  "Have patience" is a wonderful platitude, but provides no comfort, and does not address the issues at all (Service quality, communication, etc.).  In addition, we pay a substantial cost to have this access, and when we, the paying customers, receive no notification of what is happening, progress, prognosis and all, it is incredible frustrating.
 
I understand that things go wrong, and you can't always control those unforeseen things, however, you have an obligation to inform your clients of what is happening.  Basic consideration in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

This was at the beginning of this thread. Consider what it says and realize they have been working on it constantly more than likely without feeling the need to post the same shit again and again and again.Patience people..

It's a shame how a dedicated community like this one here, is left standing in the rain, without hearing a single echo to their questions.
There are so many people here who have enriched the game with their energetic support and with their own "improvements" making 3dx interesting and worth playing over the years.
In addition, there is an overwhelmingly great community of players that is extremely communicative.
Only the drivers and developers of the "project" 3dx do not take part in this communication.
Gizmo has opened this Topic as a precaution to prevent 20 more, but --

Paying customers want to know why they do not get anything for their money and why!
We need claryfying answers to our questions, please! It's so easy, just tell us what's going on.
Otherwise people will run away ....

well... they wont compensate but we all know they must compensate...
