Belonging more poses, right thats a point most players directly recognize. But will be nice to get a lil rework of the 3 Player poses at least. My point is that sometimes the poses does not put the players in the position where it "belongs". A "switch position" in a 3 person pose will be very nice, else it is a show stopper when playing with partners and clicking arround is an annoying solution.

Agree with this one. Yet another thing that shouldn't be that hard to do. A "switch" function for bunch of poses where it can be done.

The other day, my friend sent me his room so i can do the lighting and do modifications to it, and mentioned he keeps falling thru the floor, but only on the staircase , and i found it was due to the stair posts. There was dozens of posts, each with about 10 pieces to each post, and over 30 posts.  I had to just remove over half the posts, and spread them out more, and it works fine now. No falling to your death ! That was an easy fix, but something as intricate and joined together, as shown in your photo, id be a loss  lol .

Yes that's how it works. I had to simplify that fence with only circles, without spirals and such and the problem was gone. It's quite annoying when you have to tone things down just to avoid bugs

I'm not sure I really understand what you are talking about. It would be great to see a video of this bug if possible. Thanks!

    Video

This is not some new bug, it was there for years and builders usualy had a headache when they actually tested if we can walk around the creations after hours of work that on the screen looks good.

So what we usually did is trying to block buggy places from complex shapes so people don't walk there.

No idea what causes it. Maybe some of those shapes are buggy or  the fact that they are rotated in all sort of ways when we build them... I dunno.

And this is a picture of this particular object I made for a fence and causes people to fall through the floor when they get close to it as shown in the video

    What exactly does this mean?
In the bugfix, it means that the avatar falls under the floor when the pose animation is turned on.

It means that for example when I build something with complex objects, like half circle shapes (I built a fence like that with intricate ornaments), the avatars fall through the floor when they get close to it. This was an issue since.... forever I think

I see that you write in every post about the order of poses in the catalog. We're not going to change that. New poses will appear at the top. At least in the near future.
Also we are not going to implement the code that was implemented to our DLLs by third parties.

Actually... It shouldn't be very hard to create some customizable window for poses where we can add our own preferred poses. Like the color picker panel. This would sort out the issues of accidentally picking the wrong poses or search for them for a scene through the whole library

  6. @Gizmo Here's my feedback then.

Over all these years I was part of this really great community, at first I was overwhelmed by the amount of options and interactions we had in the simplest most straight forward way possible.

Of course like many other people I started creating so many things in the world editor, I was in love with the creative process of populating the world with our own ideas, styles, create our own fantasies in all sort of ways.

Had a good streaming service for Radio streaming, and all was a success. Among these  future projects the most I was looking for were creative updates, like this amazing editor, which was updated with awesome stuff (fireworks even, or that really cool water droplet windows, I always tried to create a rainy day place)

All these populate and enhance the game in many forms, and it's up to people who create more and more new content this way.

I believe when people look forward to some features that we already talked about, is their way of longing to interact with this world and add their own ideas to it. Things like clothing editor, pose editor, movie nights with functioning TV, all sort of paired and single walking, crawling, moving poses, is enriching far more the game world with our personal ideas and content than just some new blowjob poses. Naturally it's a bit of a disappointment when expectations are not met.

On the positive side... I was complaining a lot about lack of clothing and styles for male avis, and that was MUCH improved with the texture customization on clothes, and I finally have socks on my feet! So Thank you for your hard work.

Remember, criticism is though love actually ;)

People who don't like this place will never criticize things either

As I said above - not everyone will like everything we do. And that's fine. But if at least one thing turns out to be useful for you, that would be great!

Oh I like what you do, don't get me wrong. Just I agree with critics who called you out for unfulfilled promises. Because We are a quite creative bunch and love actual creative updates like new movement stuff, all sort of editors, or even that video feature which somehow dissapeared forever

@Gizmo In my years of being a part of 3DX, i’ve found it all comes down to the saying “You can please alot of the people all of the time,  but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. “ When updates, little addons, etc come about, I, and many others are very appreciative for the new things, but there are the ones that always seem to be havin an issue. If an update takes too long, they complain cause it wasn’t hurried enough, then when its hurried, theres complaints cause there are bugs, and staff didn’t take time to fix it first. I was a game tester for some time, playing parts of the game repeatedly, to look for glitches, and things that could go wrong.. it was long and time consuming, but it needed to be done before being released.
And yea, time appears to go more slowly, when waiting anxiously waiting for something to happen, but its all worth it in the end. I myself would rather wait longer to make sure its a quality piece(s) with no issues, than to have things rushed out, and full of bugs, that in turn, would have to have more time spent to fix the problem. People seem upset cause the updates aren’t added to main server straightway, but thats why there are beta tests.. to work out the bugs, fix them, and once all is sorted, Then they are added. Its a  needed process. And during the process, patience is needed. Im very appreciative of all the work that is being done, and the release of things given out, my thanks to all the staff for the hard work they put into making 3DX better as it goes on. And some just need to realize, that all of you have lives as well, and not working on things everyday, day and night. So yea, when something is worked on and the thought is: “ people are really gonna love this”  and alot do… but there are the ones that will be : “this is what i waited for?? Its junk. I know it can be quite discouraging. But know, that many do enjoy the things,  and I and others, look forward to all the cool new things to come ! Much thanks for giving me a lovely place to enjoy, all these years…. And all the others that are apart of 3DX. Cheers to you and the team… Thank you!   Cheers !  😁🍻

Ps: if there is time, and its not too much trouble in the future, can you please add some cute little lacey bra and panties ? Its all i really ask for. If not possible, i understand, and appreciate it.

Speak for yourself. It's not worth it for me in the end usually. Since most superficial updates are female ones, and the actual functional new things never come.

  9. Anyway when we talk about quality of life changes that actually matter, and FUNCTIONALLY give us so many more options, we talk about those things like walking on all fours, or doing things together like handholding walk or carrying the girl in the arms.

These things really feel like a good update, while some extra hair style and poses are just bare minimum, some extra poses in how we fuck each other.

So naturally people look forward to actual FEATURES far more than just another sex pose. Of course it will be brought up if they don't find it in the beta ;)

Ok, can you provide a screenshot or direct quotation like I asked from someone else earlier?

I'm curious how long it took for the world editor to be created years ago. How long did it take between that being announced and it's released? Genuinely curious, not trying to attack anybody here.

Funny that years later still people pop up who want us to dig back and look for years old forum quotes lol. I simply explained what the frustration is about, it's not like I have to come with proof to every kid who can't dig for it. It's like Flat Earthers constantly asking for proof even years later :))

    Cheers

Gizmo knows well what I'm talking about, that's why I called him out. And much of the concern people shared here is fair. They didn't come up with the Pose editors, Clothing editors, chest hair for men, so on. Don't worry.

  11. 9 hours ago, Loruna said:

While I agree its frustrating when promises are made but not fullfilled, I have two things to say about that:

    1. In game development, it can happen that you want to do things, even promise them, but then see that they wont work as you want them to work and disregard it. They could say/announce that this or that promise wont be fullfilled, but that will cause a huge shitstorm. If you are long on this forum we've experienced them very often. So either way, if they tell us this or that wont work, or stay silent. Both will end in a shitstorm because people here tend to think they are entitled to some features. So if they choose the path, where they dont have to deal with this shitstorm and repeating a statement over and over again (like in this thread here for example the breast poses), I actually understand it. I dont like it, but understand it.

    2. I have yet to see a proof where they promised the pose editor. Yes, they said, they will try and look if its doable, but they never said "We WILL bring it!". At least I dont know about any statement of that kind. I could be wrong of course so please, share me the proof of that, if I am wrong here. Because I read that pose editor argument so often, but never saw an actual proof of it.

Well I don't know how many times it was quoted by others that Gizmo literally said that pose editor is coming and it will be a big feature of the game. He said exactly that. YEARS passed since then.

As I said, I have no problem with difficulties, or some things might be scraped, as long as developers stay honest about it. Otherwise sure I can say that I will build a spaceship irl. Talking is cheap.

BESIDES. YOU don't have to find excuses for others, since I didn't ask YOU about this. You are not in charge of coding or anything. So you only have some "opinions" of you own. That's why I specifically called out Gizmo in that post and not some Loruna

I appreciate your opinions, but I just explained the reason why quite a lot of that frustration about promised features, that people are talking about are completely justified, even if some might be rude also while voicing their concerns

Hello, it would be a pleasure for me to develop my thoughts.

You are not someone who can be trusted you come to us to say A... to show A... but every time you give us B.

You want me to develop my thoughts more?

Can you tell me where the wiggle body is? or the pose editor? or hair mechanics for size.....

Are my words wrong...? No and i think a lot of players in the community can confirm.

@Gizmo I also agree with her points here, although I dismissed the rest of anger issues in that post.

Indeed she's right, because some things were NEVER implemented in 5 years like for example re introducing the TV feature to play our videos and such, when back then it was some talk about changing from FLASH to HTML and it will be reimplemented.

You see, most of the things cause frustration when you promise something, like pose editor, or that video feature to be back, or many other features like the clothing editor and such, and later we get some fuck poses in the update, some hairstyles and we call it a day, and no mentions about them again.

We are all adults, and it would be far easier if you would just say: Hey, we met some issues implementing this or that, sorry, we will not do it.

Sure we might complain a bit about some features we were looking forward to, but at least you were honest about it, and we move on. Can't do it, let's see then what else can be done then, and we walk towards the next cool thing

  13. "By popular demand, we have added Unreal Engine 5 directly to Unity"

    This sounds like BS really.

Do Explain how you "add" Unreal Engine 5 TO Unity. You mean some features Unreal Engine has...? Or something along those lines? I see no difference really in the beta turning that on or off. It looks like something added there because "it sounds good" and people feel better if they can turn something on in the settings that sounds fancy, but it doesn't do anything.

    EDIT:

"PS: For those who may have missed it, I'd like to clarify: the mention of UE5 was meant in jest :) However, we're excited to share that we have indeed introduced a feature to enhance the smoothing of skin and body shapes for characters."

Uhh..... Okay now I feel dumb. Disregard what I said earlier, I didn't know it was a joke.

This is how we do it. Using VLC Player, set it to "always on top" and play a file from your harddrive at the same time.

    Screenshot 2023-10-03 113900.png

Oh. I just simply use discord streaming and we watch together the same way, playing a file through VLC or anything. Just it would be cool if TV function was back. It was a nice touch. And they said like years ago that it will work again after transitioning from Flash to html. Oh well :)

I have looked and read and tried everything I can but I can change a room in world editor save the file and the textures and furniture stay but all the colors always default and never work sometimes it'll not save some of the textures but I've tried to make sure it stayed as the room when i first loaded in and everything and it's been doing this for months. Any help greatly appreciated.

Sometimes things go wrong while you patch your game. Since this is nothing I've experienced, maybe the best bet is to uninstall and redownload the already updated client from the site.

    Hey there.

I've noticed a huge dose of negative feedback from players about a latest update and overall workflow recently.

Some players just express their negative about it in a nutshell, some of them state that a game doesn't satisty their needs and doesn't fit their own vision of the game. It's been provided quite often in a rude, nagative and claming way.

I don't feel it's fair to lead this cummunication with devs in this way.

I personally enjoy the recent update and I enjoy even more upcoming things which have been already presented on a discord server.

I believe I'm not a unique here and three are many other players who enjoy the update and are happy about upcoming things.

Words of appreciation to @Gizmo and a team.

Yeah and I finally have socks, that I was bitching about for years :P

  19. Okay for those who are interested. Maybe this bug comes from the fact that most of us simply load a build and delete, and build a new one. even if it's like a small nothing build from before the patch, loading it causes issues in the builder which seems to be fixed the way MissD said. So basically either start a brand new one and enter it to make sure the builder is correctly updated and your room is on teh server, then open it and it works fine. Probably if you start a brand new empty build it doesn't have issues, only if you load a build from pre-patch.

Indeed it looks like it will work. Thank you! So weird that I have to load things twice for it to work...

Is this from update? I'm building things in my room and click save but can't get to normal room to see it. I can only see in build mode. I do hope they correct these issue's soon?🤔

I didn't hear about this bug either.

But might come from some server communication.

The way you "save" rooms and entering them afterwards, is by uploading the room to the server. and when you load it, you simply connect to the server which already contains your room file you saved on it. So basically what happens when you build and then simply enter your own room, the client uploads the file that is currently opened in the builder. And then it loads it again on your machine from there. And that's how other people load it when they join the room by requesting the same file from the server and loading it. (actually that's how they stole rooms long ago before it was fixed with encryption, because the file is temporarily on the machine of the person who is entering your room also)

If your changes weren't saved, probably is either some temporary server issue, or something wrong or weird happening to your connection.

It's not a general problem, had this in the beta too and now the problem is gone.

Did you begin the build in the old version ?

If yes i posted a workaround for the problem in the 3.0 Update Tread.

No I just started a new build hours ago of which I shared the screenshot. (I was trying to build up the Space Jockey from Alien eventually, then I ran into these issues. I didn't build in the beta, I only tried a few new stuff there, so this was news to me now after the patch)
