There were moderators in-world at one time, but was pulled by the development team for ... reasons ( I really dont want to go into the details now about it). Regardless I keep seeing this topic brought up time and time again. So I just felt like creating this thread to get the general census from everyone if they feel the game is running smoothly without in-world moderators or not. Anyway post anyway, give your opinions on the matter, whether good or bad.
 
I suppose I can start us off. I honestly feel there should be moderators within 3dx. It is an adult game, and because of that we should all behave like adults. But with our numbers increasing in-world, I also feel some safety measure should be taken. The developers I know are coming out with more zones to navigate and places to visit. And because of this there may or may not be more rules implemented for certain zones. And who upholds those rules? Anyway, I will start rambling soon, I just feel there should be someone we can run crying to if we get our feelings hurt is all

I am looking for a woman, preferably out of the newbie area. Stats greater then 7/10. Needs to know how to bedazzle my jeans among other things. And a certain artistic craft is a must, ive been looking to replace my last belly chain, so ... there it is ....

I honestly love that someone is creating something like this, but it almost seems redundant. But alas, the social butterfly that I am, shall chime in and answer the forum call.

Have you ever run or considered running a character with a gender other than your own?
- I do have another character, though ... sadly its still a female character. (Some people are lucky enough to know it *winks*)
 
What is your motivation?
- I honestly have no motivation to even have or want to create a male character. I have been blessed to never of had any real issues negative wise within the community here. So the ONLY reason I would forsee me creating a male character, would be to escape the drama if any should arise for me, because obviously noone would know who I was. That would answer the motivation towards creating an alternate character I suppose. As far as my motivation for me being here. Well, I'm too blatantly honest so might as well spill the beans. I am married IRL, I have been with her going onto 11 years now. We married last April, which somewhat upset me. Because at the time Pennsylvania did not allow Gay Marriage until May. But anyway, we got married it was just a further drive to make it official. I am actually pretty happy with our relationship, though I wish there were some things I could explore but I admit I am too afraid to make known to her. Possibly one of the reasons I am here. But ultimately I am just a very friendly person, or at least I try to be. So I am here more to get to know other people and make some friends along the way. And if anything else happens... great ... if not ... thats ok too. I like to listen, and I love to talk. (I am sure that much is clear by now) So I guess I am motivated by the simple fact that every person here is unique, and I enjoy getting to know each and every one of you.
 
It is sad that threads like these have to even exist. And I am one of those people who like to keep an open mind and just try and get along with everyone, regardless of gender. Though if someone is looking for something... more, sorry guys, I wear my Gold Star proudly, nothing will probably happen with ya. But beyond that, I used to feel that if you are a guy playing a woman, fine, thats your business. You pay for the game the same as I, I should have no right to tell you how to play YOU'RE game. But lately, I have taken a different approach. Because I see people who are hurt by those who LIE about their gender. Most people start off with this game as a quick way to release a little sexual tension and expand on their sexual horizons. And thats fine, but sooner or later feelings if you do keep in touch with people, will start to play a major role. And some people have gone months, and even up to a year in a cyber relationship with others in the game. And I can only imagine how devastated those people are when they find out the truth. And it is for that reason, why my opinion has shifted. Like the show catfish which I lOoOooooOove, if any of you are familiar with that. There are real people behind those screens, and if you get involved with anyone virtual or real, feelings get hurt if they are lied to. Simple as that. And I am starting to rant... time ... for me ... to ... go......

It goes back and forth Syc... for a long time we had no updates what so ever either. Specially the LGBT community side did not. So i feel you're pain. The whole dick-girl thing does nothing for me, but I guess everyone has their niches. Also they do put up polls for everyone to vote on. They are going off of that I do believe. I could be wrong. But updates do come ... rather slowly. But they do come.

Whats the devs need to do is very simple. Work on one area, finish it, then move on. But this, 1 pose here, 1 item of clothing here, is just a tease. Especially when a game has been out as long as it has been, its rather pathetic. And to charge 20$ a month as well for it, is even worse. (I as well am a moron for continuing to pay that much).
 
Ultimately noone will EVER be happy no matter what they do. But my vote is work on one area, and release ALOT of stuff for that specific category. Maybe its sexual and non sexual poses (like cuddling) for M/F. BOOM done, now work on M/M... BOOM done, now work on FF etc etc etc. Then change gears, and work on character models. As of now we have alot of a little bit of everything. What the devs need to do is develop a whole crap load of stuff per category.

Honestly, I agree with Mike 100%. No one group should get more favoritism then any other. Though I do notice an increase in .. female characters running around. (We all know who they really are though ... *ahem*) That being said though, I do agree with what Mike said. I would really like to see things equal out a bit more. I would love to see poses stop for a while and the game work more on the social aspect of the game alot more. This would include things from mini games to yes... clothing. Right now I am really scatter brained so bare with me. I would also love to see alot less ... skanky and slutty clothing options for us ladies. Not all of us like to walk around dressed like a woman you would find within the red light district in Amsterdam. But that brings me right round to where I began, the men need more viable clothing options. Though I am a bonafide lesbian I do find men attractive. And it would really help to see some other ... options. Be it character models, or the clothing they can wear, it would be a nice perk. So I feel your pain Mike, I really do. I have been playing this game for a very long time now, and it seems we get shafted on the poses, while the heteros get less clothing. I honestly dont know how they come up with the game updates... but ... oh well.

Honestly... the fact that 3dx is starting to charge us additional money for items is appalling. And like Riela said above, if you MUST charge us to use additional features, they you MUST lower the subscription fee. Though I feel there should be some charge if only 5$. And that is simply to weed out the children from the adults to keep a subscription going. As of right now this game has two main features going for it. Amazing graphics, and a friendly caring community. Now anyone who has been here longer then a month, will tell you that the sexual poses "imagination wise" can only take you so far. The real fun and excitement comes from the individuals who are involved with one another in the game.

If that is true, then holy cow, throw this game up on Kickstarter, and get some donations to pave the road for 3-4 months of updates or enough to officially RELEASE the game. And there are many website to pool money from besides kickstarter.
 
All n all, you have dozens and dozens of people all posting the same if not similar things. It boils down to this ... is 3dx hurting for money, hence why this game does not seem like it gets the devs FULL attention. And if so, you guys really need to venture out there and find a sponsor, or throw this up on kickstarter to make some funds. Because the "want" is present, you just need to supply the "demand".
 
But If I am wrong and the game financially is doing well, then post up an official subscriber amount, and show us how many people are keeping the game up and running, prove to us this isnt just your part time gig. But I can gurantee you, if you pay more attention to us, and to developing this game, you could have a real winner here.

I for one vote for only allowing us to have our one characters. I have always stated this since the beginning of me joining this lovely community. Most people who know me here, know I am probably entirely to honest for my own good. Honestly ... I play myself on here for the most part. I guess im not really LIVING a fantasy, but im a terrible liar. I wouldnt be able to keep up with it all. But other people on here.... I have caught in all sorts of lies. And ill be honest... I took a break for a couple months, and when I came back, and after speaking with some old friends. I was told that alot of my original click of people I was with, are still on here, but under different names. It gives people the chance to start fresh ... sure. But it just played mind games with me. I kept going ... "wait that sounds an awful lot like .. so and so". Its also ruined some chances at a friendship because this game just makes me second guess things sooooo much. And that is something I should not have to worry about on here. So in conclusion, as I am very scattered brained at the current moment, I would love to here a developers stand point on why they have three character options. And if this might be a possibility, to limiting us to only one character.
 
Also just an idea, but might be fun. The game incorporated those ... "Masks". Here is a clever idea. Limit us to one character, but if we put on a mask, it changes your name to something randomly generated. SO ... it would allow those who want to use a different character to have that option, but still limiting them to only one character. It would also add a little spice ... in this world as well. Anyway just a thought.
