    BOS Bunker.

A few people have been asking me what ive been doing, I have quite a few projects done or close to done that I will be putting up for download soon. This is a project Ive been playing with for a while and you could call it version 2, but the first never seen the light of day, I just couldnt get the lighting right with the layout that I built so I dumped it and started again. It is loosely based off a location in a game I played, Fallout 76, and The Brotherhood Of Steel underground bunker that is within the game. When coming across this location I thought it was such a cozy spot that it would make a nice room to be in with that someone special in this game. I still have a little more to do before its finished, but I'm really happy with how it feels so far.
  3. Made an upright piano tonight... those board seams.
  4. I love the new lights, building textures and blocks.
  5. The cam control in the 64 bit client are awesome, you can set your free speed and your fast(shift) speeds to almost any values you like, customizing all movments perfectly for you.
  6. In patch build 387 a lot of new textures were put into the game and 4 were changed, 3 timber textures and the wavey cloth. The timber textures had board seams added to them and the cloth was changed to a harsher creases type, and while I like the new ones as they look great for floors and walls, could we also have the old ones put back into the game as well so we can choose between boards or solid look? I build a lot of solid timber furniture, and with the seams it looks horrible and ugly.
  7. This was shown on the Telegram account, its a building that scales as its resized, the image was a GIF and shows it. Im not sure was those white jagged lines are though.
  8. Yeah, it would be a lovely addition to the world editor, letters and numbers in various fonts.
  9. Well it looks like sacrificing all the neighbours cats to the fires of doom worked. Does a happy dance.
  10. Giving this a bump for effect.
  11. I got a chance to Install last night to try this out. Good stuff. The camera controls are awesome, even better than the dll, doing fine jobs now will be much easier. The new sky boxes are great, and the water looks so nice now. Pose speed control is also better than the dll version, easier and faster to use. I really want to be able to have control over when clothes come off for poses, implement that and I would of given it a 10/10. I wont bother mentioning the bugs as they have already fixed some and acknowledged the others, so no point repeating them here now.
  12. So is the camera in build mode usable now?
  13. I worded that incorrectly. I'm not saying there shouldnt be different sizes available, what I was saying is that because of the huge amount of difference, making a pose/animation cant work properly. If they make a pose that works perfectly on Betty, the pose will look stupid for people using smaller or larger breast sizes. If we end up getting a pose editor one day, then I hope they also put some numbering on the breast and butt and waist sliders, so we can then make custom poses for people using those numbers. They could ask for a pose and say my char is "xx" - "xx" - "xx" then all we would have to do is make our dummy those sizes and make or adjust the pose to suit.
  14. Indeed, it will not happen with the current framework because of the ridiculous and massive variation in size.
  15. Although I have no idea, I have a feeling all this stuff will be the DEC update.
  16. I remember the lead developer of a game I used to play came out and answered this very question when asked by someone. His reasoning was that each time they injected changes into the game, there would often be bugs, some quite nasty, so by having less but bigger updates, it would keep the game less buggy overall. This wasnt the exact wording, but it's what he meant.
  17. Not taking away from what youre saying, but Ive felt this from the first day I seen the game, from the clothing options, standing stances and poses, its all slanted from a viewpoint of a guy, and as the game has gone along, it reinforced this view. I also used this as my main argument for the pose editor when Giz make that post if we wanted it, as I knew that it was going to be the only way to have access to all the poses so many have requested over the years and been ignored. Your last sentence is pretty well spot on, and from a business point of view it's probably just. All we can do is keep reminding them that there is a segment of users that would like more.
  18. They speak so little all we can do is speculate, speculate on why they have been showing so many shots of different aspects of the editing tools, with several shots showing an updated and simplified interface for the builder.
  19. I dont think its too much. Im always wanting more control in world builder and in my opinion, lighting is the most important aspect of building, by a long way.
  20. I am hoping this is showing off some of the framework of the editor for us, THX and myself talk about this some time back and while the editor may be a bit too much for some users, there will be others that will be making and sharing lots of them, so this will benefit all 3DX users immensely. If this is indeed the pose editor for us, the biggest question is how the poses will be packaged, how do we share them. Hopefully its not too much problem, but Im sure most people will be happy to finally get some poses we have been asking for for years and will take whatever we get, because theres literally hundreds of poses people have asked for and zero chance of them being put into the game unless we get this editor.
  21. Considering theres been no notes accompanying these gifs/pics to explain what they are, we are not missing much, but I do agree that they should be posting here as well.
