I happens to me sometimes... I open a profile and the picture is of the last profile I opened before that, and if the last profile I looked at was mine the pic will be mine... I don't know if it's a bug or lag issues, honestly.

Male avatars need to be reworked tbh... starting with the faces, all of them pretty much look the opposite of manly not to mention that they kinda look the same, needs better looking facial hair also... and better walk animation, aaand better hair cuts... Yeah we get it, devs spent a lot of time working on female avatars so they serve as eye candy for their wider audience... but please, we girls deserve some eye candy also, we pay for the game too... at least it will make me feel better about the fact that you force my avi to tip toe around all the time, even when she's bare feet.

Personally when I came here at first, I thought that it was a joke... I made fun of anyone who talked about it, and marriage was the biggest joke subject for me..... but things do change as well as people. While for me it doesn't seem logical at all, falling in love with a person you really didn't see, hear or touch... but we are in a place that tries to simulate these things to Some degree. And with the aid of person's good imagination, the effect of this simulation can multiply by a lot... For me the real question is... when people fall in love in here, are they in love with the avatar or the person behind the computer?

We are all roleplaying here, whether it's our real selves or not, in the end we have a certain role and we expect others to approach us as such... take you for example, you are playing a transgender, yes yes I know it's who you are... but in the end it's a role that people are expected to interact with you while keeping this in mind. aight... now to the messy stuff... I will try to keep it as short and simple as I can. keep in mind I am not a pro or anything, but this is just what I learned over time. roleplay is when a person assumes a role that is pre defined ... i.e a vampire, a succubus, a sexual predator, a sexually dominant person who like to do it rough, a slut, a person who's so wild that they will have sex on a DJ booth ... or a DJ.... etc... in essence it's much like when you are playing the -witcher game- for example, while you are playing this game for all intents and purposes you are the witcher, you are living this fantasy and enjoying it... and all your interactions are defined by that... and that's what a role player wants to achieve, to live a certain fantasy in the game, the only difference here is that they set this fantasy for them selves. now, the most common questions... - how can I detect them? - are they always in character? - am I expected to only interact with them as such? well... the answer to those questions most of the time, exists in said person's profile... some people don't like to be always in character, some people are always them selves, except for certain times when they want to enjoy a certain set scenario in a certain way... in that case this scenario gets planned with the people involved and it gets played out... erotic RP falls under this category. - is it disrespectful not to function as one? no... by no mean is it disrespectful... it's up to you, it's your game and you choose how to enjoy it. also with time, after interacting with a person for a bit, you will start to learn them, get closer and know them better... in that case you wont need any of those questions, cause you will just know what to do with them I hope that was helpful, know I didn't cover everything, and I don't consider my self a pro at by an extent.. but I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have in mind, on this thread, or via PM here or ingame.

As you said, that person is just sitting on their computer... The DJ station has nothing to do with what they are doing... mmhm it's a Prop, something for the person who is playing a DJ to pose and live the act of being a DJ in their imagination, while they are sitting in front of their computer... much like you are sitting at home in front of the computer using sex poses to live the act of having sex in your head.. for them you ruined this experience.... and when it comes to ego, you are the one who's trying to place your way of having fun above the way of that person, using the fact that it's a sex game to validate that... when the DJ station is not movable, but you could have taken your sex pose just a step or two away from the DJ booth to still be in very close proximity to it, giving you the same thrill ride in your head, while not ruining the role that this person is playing in their own head for them. But it's pointless to argue with you, you see that people getting upset -is- a problem... you wont let this argument go until you get the validation you came for, as it's very obvious by how you react to any one who's criticizing you... yeah you said that you are here to understand why they got upset, but who could really buy that after you said above it that those people are the problem, and that you are trying to make them understand why it happened... Of all the responses, yours makes the most sense and I thank you. I totally forgot about the RP principle. I'm not a big role player which is why I was totally blind to that component. yeah it's a game for sex... actually I personally get irritated by a lot of those people who act like prudes or be shy all the time... ffs you are on a sex game, I already know you are horny and here because of it... with that being said... sooo, you had sex on the DJ booth while a DJ was playing and he got mad.... and you find that irrational!? It's indeed a sex game... and you can have sex anywhere you like... sex in public is cool, fun and a hell of a thrill ride... but you also have to respect other players space... what would you do if at a movie theater the person in the seat in front of you decided to stand up while watching?.. it's a movie theater, it's for watching the movie, there's no "official" rule against standing up while watching. what happened here is that you were rude and forced your game play (what ever it was, sex or otherwise) upon someone who was also playing the same game you are, enjoying it in his own way... and are whining that this person was rude to you... you are like a person who goes on talking crap to people, then use the right of free speech as an excuse to how he acts! buuuuuuut anyways....in the end it's just a game and you are making too much of a deal about it... but imo you are to blame, dear!

I get the same thing when ambient occlusion is turned off.... check if it's off for you. still though, ambient occlusion shouldn't have effect on that stuff... another bug to add to the cool bug bag Also...some people have had water go poof when they are not using the simple water option

Interesting indeed. I had a somewhat similar thought, when I was looking through the entries made. The majority of 3dx's customers are indeed males (avi gender out of the argument)... and while girl on girl pics for banners might seem appealing to them to look at, it's not something that invites them to come... cause it's not something that they can join in... an image of a hot female/male avi on his/her own would serve that purpose better, or an image of a guy flirting with a girl or another guy... cause then the person who's being targeted by that banner, will start to imagine him self in that position and feel inclined to join in. As for females... I don't believe that banner advertisement on a pron website can help there... personally I got here via word of mouth, which ofc is not like a thing in the hand of a developer or advertiser... but I do believe that it's responsible for a lot of the people who joined. Ironically enough, I believe also that the strongest advertiser for 3dx is in fact other similar yet not of same quality games... places where you can see the sentence "hey I tried a game called 3dxchat and it's pretty cool... way better than this.... etc" or something along those lines. I think majority of 3dx's player base started off on another similar, maybe free project, which lead them here eventually via word of mouth. Edit: as for males who play female avi, I have a theory (which could be wrong ofc) that the majority of them started out with a male avi, then switched over when they encountered difficulty in getting any pussy! which would put them in the male target audience anyways. hope I made any sense.
