This is something I wouldn't have the nerve to try IRL, but 3DX is different... I would want one guy to RP as my long-term serious boyfriend. He is out of town for a few weeks on business and tells me when his flight lands and he'll be back at his place. So I go over there so that I'm waiting for him when he gets home, and I put on something silky so that I'm ready for our sexy time. But instead his best friend shows up, and I'm a bit embarassed with what I'm wearing. He tells me that my boyfriend's flight had some trouble and that my boyfriend couldn't get through on my phone to tell me. Then he starts flirting with me. I've known his best friend for a while and we've flirted, but I am faithful to my boyfriend - but eventually (I mean, after a long time) I give in and we start fooling around. Well my boyfriend was really there and he starts spying on us. Finally he comes out and lets me see him. I freak out, start crying, apologizing, everything. So how my boyfriend (RPing boyfriend) handles it is up to him, whether he's angry and takes it out onto me, and makes me feel really bad and convinces me, or whatever, and we end up having a sexy 3-war. So that's it...

Decided to try adding some color to my name tag. Spent about 17k. Looked great. That was yesterday. Today when I came in I found I had lost all the changes I made. Not sure why. Do I have to make those changes every time I log on? I already spent most of my gold. Can anyone help?

Steam has an entire section for VR titles and a lot of VR gamers. I think if 3dxchat is launched as a VR supported title, it will get a lot of new users

Note that when I say "Real World Currency" i am referring to the virtual world currency applicable. In 2nd life it's Linden. In RLC it was "Rays" and here it is xGold. Is there any reason Slave Auctions can't be held using xGold instead of pretend or RP funds ?

I have visited a Slave Auction room here and the host told me it was only RP $$ being used. I came from another virtual environment where auctions were held regularly and the transactions were in real world currency. Is therr a reason that it cannot be done that way here in 3dx?

The answer to world chat problems is simple. When you launch the application and the game opens ... have it display some generic message like "Welcome to 3dx! Enjoy your time here etc etc." Then you have the ability to make one comment every 24 hours, and that's it. Like you could say "hi everyone! good morning!" and that's all you get until the next day. All the people that are using it for attention and to cause problems will shrivel up and fall off. Beyond that they can talk in group chats. If the admins want they can make group chats a bigger feature in the game with topics, the ability to join them and the ability for someone to moderate them and kick people out as well. You're welcome!

I agree, in the World Chat I questioned why this chat is existing, while there are constantly -same few players- throwing all kind of -mostly bullshit,I'm sorry to say- 24/7, which does not have anything to do with the game, but are often having same toxic goal: to express how great,wise and almighty they are,how -in their opinion- some players are stupid,retarded,of minor or no value,with offensive,treatening,agressive homo/xeno/*phobic and personal remarks flying around all the time... When I once made a friendly remark about this, they started -ofcourse, that's why they are trolls- to go on me with some ridiculous,childish comments not even worth to mention, and some of them even said: "if they stop World Chat, I'm quitting this game". Which is hence a great solution to finally -at least- eventually get rid of some of them! Sometimes I even wonder how this can go on for several years on a public chatroom like this... No problem, but let them in a private chatgroup or private room throw as much shit as they want. Not in a public chat!

@Gizmo Tnx Gizmo for your reply,we're gaining confidence,I'm getting the impression you and your team are showing some real commitment and responsability Wrt. Ignoring option: No, you shouldn't intervene on that player-level option, except maybe keep track in your logs how many times/by who a certain player/account (so all his/her avatars included) get ignored, simply as a statistical counter, (so passive monitoring) which you later could use as argument towards offenders, if necessary. Only Reporting option should have your immediate attention and eventual action(s). I'll give my own experience with a player/avatar which was unfortunately on my friendlist (because I added too fast 'friends' to my list, not realizing there could be some really disturbing elements in here), which I first added on my ignore list after some time, having enough patience,making repeated remarks,warning that I didn't like the behaviour,which included: continuous harrasment: spamming,stalking,following my actions in the game,disturbing me with jealous&aggressive comments while interacting with others,even coming close and trying to ruin or sabotage interactions,not only by taking contact with my partner and spreading all kinds of disturbed comments,also running or walking or standing in my line of sight...) So I ignored that avatar -and I assure you it took a while before I made such decision: I realize this is a game and i'm very open-minded and tolerant-but there are limits! Once I ignored the avatar,I couldn't see his profile anymore, some kind of message was displayed like: you can't temporarily see details of this avatar anymore,the ignore option runs for 24h until you can evt un-ignore. I assume the offensive player (after a while) will be as well aware of being ignored, because of similar msg being displayed when clicking on profile, and maybe seeing someone interact with some invisible avatar... Which is great,so after few days I un-ignored that avatar,in the hope the player would have changed behaviour. Which was not the case,so I unfriended to get rid of it... Reporting is something I personally didn't do until now in any game, but I can imagine situations getting so bad (maybe escalating) that there is no other option. That's why I stated these are to be taken very seriously -after you investigate them of course- and thus have taken contact with both the victim(s) (the reporter(s)) and the offender. I'm pretty sure that players who are into ignored list are not being ignored by just one,but regularly getting ignored by several players,just because they have a behaviour which is annoying and unacceptable, but could as well be temporary (because of drug-abuse fe...): in that case you'll see they'll get un-ignored after a while by players who give them another chance, maybe... That's why I propose your passive approach in case of Ignore option: statistical monitoring on those who get regularly ignored and by whom -which you keep for yourself ofcourse- and which could be a good indicator/detector for toxic players - which will have to be permanently removed anyway after being reported by several players and evt being warned...You could also warn and temporary ban for 24h first few times and after consideration -when they really don't want to adapt-remove them,unfortunately.

THE TASKS - PAIN Now darlings we are going to talk about something that many do not know of. Those of us whom practice the Art in Life know of, only from being trained in the old ways of the association. Each proper House has a form of this in their teachings. This is the main structure of how a submissive go from badges, to trainees, to initiates, to owned. They are called, The TASKS. Sounds oh so mysterious! But this is a basic structure of development from the young submissive, until a proper submissive. The task is not just for the submissive, but are an equal learning plan for both the Dominant, and the submissive to grow together. I practice the Tasks of Five. These are specific in each degree, in the building stage of the D/s relationship. Pain Training Compassion Knowledge Openness These are set stages and hard requirements that are met by both, in order to progress the relationship to each level. What each of these consist of, is up to the Dominant, who is the Teacher, Leading the one. Yet, a couple of those levels require the input of both to move to the next. Pain This is the initial part of the Path, the joining, or agreement of One(Dominant) to the request of the one(submissive). Pain is the description for this phase of the TASKS, as it is describing of the initial phase of the Path of the D/s who begin talking, learning each other, sharing themselves. This part also involved what I call the "Sharing". This is where both whom have accepted the role of Chosen to chosen, share their past with each other. It is a thing of longing, a thing of sharing, a thing of no secrets between the two. Because of this, it can be a painful thing, expressing each other's past experiences. Each triumph, each failure. Every pain of your life to the other. This is a place of no secrets. Like any relationship, you get out of it, what you put into it. Honesty counts. It helps both to understand the other. It helps to see about compatibility, knowledge, experience. It helps both see the pain and triumphs of each other. Remember, the Path is walked by Two(2), seeking to become One(1). One leads, one follows, and in this sharing, begins the Bond. If you keep them, then you are hung here until your own heart expels them. You see, those pains of your past are poison to the soul. Until you bare it, get it from you heart, your mind, and share it with the hope of your Chosen/chosen, you will never be free of it. It is so important for all to share their pain here. Let me explain what those terms are. PATH and BOND The Path: this is simply the courtship in the D/s dynamic between the D/s. No different then dating another. Save this is very specific and sometimes can be a therapeutic path between 2 individuals to help a submissive with more than just sexual inclinations. I have helped people who have enlisted My help in breaking bad habits, bad behaviors, and even worked with a PHD therapist in helping anxiety patient. The Bond: This is literally the relationship between the D/s. This may include the Agreement and/or Contract. It is not the materialistic form, but the feelings of the hearts that are moving down this path. The respect, the understanding, the Love that develops as you both begin triumphing over the goals that are set. The union grows. Sometimes sexual in nature, sometimes as a Coach praising their charge in successfully reaching a goal, and preparing them for the next one. It is also a Place of healing, where trust in each other begins to bloom. Where love begins to swell, and two, become one. It is in this stage most stay the longest. For here it where Love gives to the other and the two learn the most from each other. Seventy percent of your time as Chosen and chosen are spent in this phase that will last through until the Fourth Task. This step is the most crucial because it is the start Path, and the beginning of the Bond. The Path is the journey both take, hand in hand as they begin their relationship. The Bond is the sharing of hearts, the honesty of each other, absence of lies. Note: withholding information here at this stage, is the same as lying to your Chosen/chosen. Do so at your own risk. As a Dominant, I can tell you many a darling suddenly sprang a rather HUGE thing on Me later in the Tasks that they did not share here. This is where you have to be a little bit brave Dears and dears, and realize this is how you start a love affair. I dismissed two whom served Me for this alone. Some may call that harsh. I call it lying to your Dominant who has shared their very heart and hope with you. Their vision and wish for us both. Either you trust, or you do not. You earn trust here by BOTH sharing. No secrets. If you have those, then you do not need to even START a relationship of that Art until you have dealt with those completely So think hard on this before going to the next task. This is a place of honesty, forgiveness, acceptance, and the beginning of Love. If you sabotage it here, then you are a fool to think you will make it through the tasks. Now, take your time do this. You both engage as you wish in this, play, date, have fun. But make SURE this is done before the last part of the Task of Pain is done. And that last task is "The Contract." I have written about this specifically. In life, you get a lawyer to write this out. It is THAT important. Online, you can follow the guide I wrote out, and you can make it as simply or as complex as you wish. I tend to try to keep things simple. The discussion of the Contract is the last part of this. What is allowed, not allowed, safe words, limits hard and soft. You would of read my detail info for this step before reaching The Tasks. Feel free to scroll back and review it! This is the start of My postings of the The Tasks. The next one, Training, is going to be a big one. that will have several parts. So bare with me as I try to make it details as possible, with simplistic follow through. So as not to confuse anyone. Toodles ~Z

Think that part is very true, because the less moderation there is the more it will become perceived as acceptable behavior which will lead to escalation of the problem. Its kind same as if you have someone breaking rule for alcohol at a party and others figure out while there are rules against it few feels to the rest like they're being caught or reprimanded for it. So it will eventually lead more to risk breaking the rules as the rules seem to be there but not enforced, this may or may not be true. It may very well be some are given bans or get reprimands, but if nobody see it and problems persist it will gradually become more acceptable to break the rules even if its not by perception. Its social engineering through demoralizing if you don't believe the system works more are likely to break the systems rules. It is the same with rooms the break the policies if the punishment cannot keep up with the level of rule breaking eventually people will feel its pointless to report anything and their behavior will be tolerated even if most don't like it, they're simply too demoralized to deal with the issue any longer and just opt out to fight it. Then some probably I imagine just decide to level entirely if its becoming too unpleasant to stick around, sure stuff like ignore is handy on a case to case basis, but if the problems are big enough a simple ignore doesn't fix much less your day will simply be ignoring several times during a day, wondering if this is really worth sticking around paying your subscription. I do think one solution could simply also be to give a option to turn of general chat so you don't see it, as it would remove some the power from the toxic drama trolls since its typically their go to area so if few orbit it to rage bait there will be less to feed them around. Also think another solution is adding group hosting rooms and shared room admin rights so its easier to kick individuals out of user host rooms that cause problems, since with time zones the host may not necessarily be able to always be around to do so personally.

Nothing is impossible, ok. Just a load of code, much more load of textures and server space and in some months all users have much more disk space usage, longer loading times and cannot use the things without paying for it.

Thank you Gizmo for the interest you express in our posts. Yes it's true the VR mode needs to be improved because personally I think that VR is the future of 3D games. Without going into complicated things, you would have to activate the joystick to point to the place where you want to move and also to select the letters on the virtual keyboard. The trigger would provide the click function of the left mouse button. The Joysticks will be used to turn the view from left to right and zoom in and out. These are the basic controls that we see in most VR games. Thank you for your efforts to provide us with a high quality game.

@FJB2BUA Thank you for your feedback, and I'm glad you enjoy 3DXChat and are talking about it In your words, I sense a business approach and entrepreneurial experience. As you noted, it’s evident even in the terms we use: I talk about the game as a project, and you refer to it as a product. I definitely have something to learn from you. Do you think we need to improve VR support? Do you believe we should start with that, or focus on something else? Once again, thank you for your advice.

@FJB2BUA Thank you for such a detailed post and the suggested measures to improve community behavior. There are definitely many useful points here that we need to think about thoroughly. If you have more ideas, please let us know. Do I understand you correctly that you believe we should notify the violator when other players add them to their ignore list?

If it helps, I'll share my experience with VR. To exit 1st person just press F6. You can use the mouse as in normal mode to look around and I click to move to the point I am looking at. You have noticed that the UI hinders the view depending on the position in which you are. To move it, look where you want it to be and press the space bar. For chat, I put the cursor on the chat line, I tap twice on the headset to be in passthroug mode so i can use the PC keyboard. it's not very practical but it's better than aiming for the letters on the virtual keyboard. I hope it works for you.
